Apartment holiday rentals in Monte Testaccio

Very cute stay. Near a lot of good restaurants and walkable to main attractions. The property itself was very nice.

This was my first Airbnb in Italy as I usually stay in hotels. The apartment , located in an old building in the Testaccio neighborhood is on the top floor and is clean and modern with good air conditioning and a rooftop view. This is one of the best foodie neighborhoods in Rome with the nearby market, and venerable restaurants such as Bucatino (great cacio pepe) and Piatto Romano (amazing carbonara, fried baby artichokes , great wine list). You are walking distance from Trastevere with its lively bars and restaurants. This apartment is new and clean and Andrea is very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommended! I'll come back soon hopefully!

Good place as Testaccio. Many places to eat around and good transportation

The place is located in the residential area of Trastevere, you don't have the madness next door, but it is very close to all the restaurants and places to enjoy. Perfect for visiting Rome for the first time, Miguel is super proactive and helped us with everything.

The listing is as described. The apartment is in a very good location in a safe and pleasant neighborhood. It is very well connected by buses. Many quality restaurants nearby, we loved it. We warmly recommend this apartment.

Excellent accomodation as described. Barbara made sure to join in person to help us with the entry procedures and explained us the local listings and shared us few good vegetarian dishes & places. This place is very near to bus stop and train stations.

Very nice apartment in a pleasant and quiet residential area with great local restaurants. The place was exactly as described and like the photos. Carlo was super responsive and polite and a very helpful host. Absolutely no complaints and I would definitely recommend a stay here. There is also a lovely classic Roman restaurant downstairs, Massandro, which is a bonus.

Florianas apartment was great supper confortable. all the details are well thought out. the neighborhood is very convenient losts of shops and restaurants.

Practical and comfortable apartment, with neat decoration. 10-minute walk to the metro. Everything is very well explained, very good communication. You can hear the street a little in the rooms, but it's okay. There is air conditioning in one of the bedrooms and in the living room.

Great place to stay and explore the city! It was super nice they had a washer so we could do some laundry. There are great restaurants near by and down town is easily accessible either by a bit of a walk or an easy bus ride.

I found Giancarmo’s place very peaceful and restful. A lovely balcony to sit and enjoy coffee. Very friendly locals in the area. There was some work being done on the apartment below which was loud at points and a loud family above.

Our stay at this Airbnb villa from June 11th to 14th, 2025, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was simply five-star. First, the villa itself is excellent. It's beautifully appointed, comfortable, and truly felt like a luxurious home away from home. But what truly sets this property apart is its incredible, central location. We literally walked to every major attraction! The Vatican, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain – everything was easily accessible on foot, which saved us so much time and hassle. Exploring Rome from such a convenient base was an absolute dream. Beyond the fantastic property, our hosts were simply phenomenal. They were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our entire stay. They went above and beyond, even arranging all of our transportation for us: from the airport to the villa, to the cruise port, and then back to the airport. This is an absolutely perfect spot for 2, 4 or 6 people traveling to Rome. the best location for dining, shopping and nightlife. The apartment is so clean and updated and we really could not find a negative thing to say about it or the hosts. Thank you Marina.

Fabio was a great host. I let him know that it was our 25th anniversary and he gave me multiple recommendations of restaurants to go to for a nice anniversary dinner. He even left a little gift for us. If I ever find myself back in Rome, I'd definitely stay there again.

Great modern apartment and finished with all the comforts. A large balcony, full kitchen, very comfortable bed, and a central but at the same time quiet area on a residential street with good possibility of free parking, which in Rome is quite rare. As a former resident of Rome, this apartment is an ideal compromise as a location and effectiveness, it feels like staying at home.

Lovely room, perfect for us, great location. Plenty of restaurants and places to go around the area and walking distance of anywhere you want to go in Rome really. Really comfortable bed and jacuzzi was a lively feature to have in the bedroom. The view from the apartment is beautiful especially at sunset.

Excellent penthouse apartment, beautifully furnished with an amazing large terrace that offers peaceful rooftop views over Rome. The location is perfect for exploring the Colosseum area as it’s only a 5 min walk. The apartment is also beside the Cavour underground train station which makes connections and travel around Rome really simple. We will certainly like to book again next time we visit Rome. Alberto and the host team is extremely responsive and helpful making the experience seamless.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Erika's property. The accommodations were lovely, and I had a fantastic time. There are numerous restaurants nearby, along with an excellent selection of gelato shops. Everything is easily walkable, and if you prefer, a short Uber ride of about 10 minutes can take you to most major attractions. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a quiet and peaceful getaway.
