Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Montaña Palentina

It was a pleasure to stay at this apartment! Rossana is incredibly kind, she met us near the building and made us feel welcome right away. Communication was smooth from the start, and we even had the chance to check in a bit earlier. We stayed for two nights with our cat, so one of the biggest advantages of this place is that it’s pet-friendly, which we really appreciated! The apartment was clean and cozy, perfectly located near Riaño and not too far from Picos de Europa. We definitely recommend this place!

La casita de la plaza es un sitio encantador para pasar unos días tranquilos. Su ubicación es excepcional y la zona es espectacular, tanto por su vegetación como por su tranquilidad. Daniel ha estado pendiente de nosotros en todo momento y nos ha recomendado actividades y lugares que visitar. La casa estaba muy limpia y ordenada y no le falta detalle. Nuestra estancia ha sido inmejorable.

Hemos estado 12 personas en la casa, matrimonios con niños y lo que diga se quedaría muy corto, la casa es espectacular en todos los sentidos, ubicación, limpieza, tamaño, cómoda, nos ha parecido increíble y sin duda repetiremos!! Rebeca muy amable y atenta. Merece mucho la pena.

Todo está cuidado al detalle y se nota el mimo con el que está pensada para que los huéspedes se sientan como en casa. El entorno es aún más especial: un pueblo de Cantabria lleno de encanto, con un paisaje idílico que invita a desconectar, respirar aire puro y disfrutar del silencio. Queremos destacar también a David, el anfitrión, por su cercanía, amabilidad y disponibilidad en todo momento. Se agradece mucho encontrar personas así cuando viajas. Wij hebben genoten van het huis. Alles nieuw en met smaak ingericht. De ligging is prachtig met uitzicht op de bergen in een klein gehuchtje. Op de camping aan de overkant kan brood worden gehaald en is een restaurant waar lekker gegeten kan worden. Voor ons was dit verblijf minstens 6 sterren waard!

Raul was a very accommodating host. Communication was very good and queries were answered quickly, allowing us to check in a little early with our very tired baby. Everything had been thought of. There was a travel cot in the room, milk, pastries and hot and cold refreshments. The room was immaculate with lovely facilities and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was quiet but there were bars and cafes within walking distance and a lovely child friendly restaurant less than 5 minutes drive away. Would be first choice to stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.

Das Apartment war genau das, was wir für den Urlaub gesucht haben. Alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Luisma war makellos. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Very nice and secluded small cottage, very quiet and private. We stayed just over a week - while small it has everything you need. Excellent base for the northern Picos and the coast, we did some great hikes! Would definitely recommend to nature lovers. Jose was very easy to reach and very accomodating with clear instructions and proactive attitude. In short, highly recommended!

Desde el principio todo fue muy fácil con Carmen, en todo momento estuvimos comunicadas para cualquier duda que tuviésemos. El apartamento era exactamente igual a las fotos y estaba muy limpio y con todo tipo de bienes básicos. Volvería a repetir, ya que el entorno del apartamento era muy tranquilo y bonito, hemos pasado unos días muy buenos.

Un lugar precioso donde desconectar unos días, que además admite mascotas. Javier es muy atento y amable, y nos respondió a algunas dudas que teníamos rápidamente. Tambien nos dio algunas recomendaciones de zonas que visitar y rutas de montaña que podíamos hacer. 100% recomendable.

Rebeca es muy buena anfitriona, muy atenta en todo momento y la casa está impoluta, no ha podido ser mejor la estancia, recomiendo este alojamiento al 100%, muy buena experiencia

Creatief gerestaureerd oud pand met veel authentieke details en rustieke, landelijke sfeer. Zeer compleet qua uitrusting. De host en familie zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het dorpje Tudos is heel rustig en authentiek. Ook in de taverne aan de overkant hebben we 2x heerlijk gegeten.

El alojamiento era tal y como en el anuncio y fiel a las fotos. la zona muy tranquila y a la vez bien comunicada con la carretera y los pueblos vecinos. La cama amplia y comodísima, las instalaciones estaban limpias y tenían todo lo necesario. también había productos de cortesía. las piscinas de buen tamaño y buena temperatura. todo un acierto.

Ubicación ideal para desconectar entre la naturaleza asturiana, con vistas increíbles y donde poder encontrar esa paz que buscaba.

We spent in total 10 days in the aopartment and had a really nice holiday. The appartment is equipped with all necessary utilities and was very tidy and clean. Jose was a wonderful host and available whenever needed. We can definitely recommend the appartement and surely plan to come back one day.

I wish to do not share places like this and keep it private :) The view is stunning! An amazing place to relax from daily noise! Nick and Kate were helpful and their place is gorgeous! I wish to spend more time in place like this: birds, cows, clouds, barbecue, sauna, walks, rain, mountains, fog.

Hemos estado genial, la casa es preciosa y tiene unas vistas espectaculares. Javi nos recomendó un montón de actividades por la zona y fue muy amable, ¡ojalá repetir pronto!

Mi pareja y yo pasamos unos días tranquilos en la casa de Carmen. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días y todo estaba muy limpio. Por ponerle una pega, el acceso es por una carretera estrecha en la que entran dos coches, hay que ir con cuidado.

We stayed 6 nights in mid June to explore the area, do some walking, visit places and to drive some of the scenic routes of the area. The place is high up above the valley up a fairly narrow road and through 2 small villages before you get to San Roman. Our host provided pictures showing how to find the house which was useful. The location is very quiet and surrounded by trees, fields and views of the mountains. Our host also provided lots of useful information about walks and scenic drives in the area, the nearest beaches on the coast and local recommendations where to eat. The cats that live round about kept us amused. We had a great time.

Pablo nos atendió genial desde antes de llegar, recomendándonos actividades que realizar y siendo muy amable. Llegada y salida muy cómodas y el estudio estaba muy limpio. Ningún inconveniente en una zona muy tranquila( supongo que porque es zona de esquí y no está nevado)

I can’t express how wonderful this rental was. Very close to town, so it was quick to get groceries. This small village was so quaint and beautiful. The view from the patio greatly exceeded our expectations. Such a lovely place to sit in the mornings and evenings.

We had an amazing stay at Ignacio's cabin (much bigger than a cabin). We were a party of 8 and had plenty of room between the 5 bedrooms. The actual home is amazing. It is a vey old farm house that has been updated and modernized, but the stunner is the view. Five days there and it never got old. Such a huge view, yet complete privacy. The big surprise was how cute and quaint the town of Lierganes is. We didn't even realize when we booked that it is a designated historical Spanish town of interest. Beautiful architecture and very pleasant to walk around. Ignacio the owner and Sel the hostess were amazing. Sel met us to hand over keys and do a quick walk through. After our first night they both checked-in to see how we were doing. We did have an issue with the neighbors dogs barking through the first night, but we mentioned it to Ignacio and he contacted the neighbor for us and it improved greatly. He also sent us a detailed list of the best "things to do, etc." Amazing
