Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montaña Palentina

We have been 12 people in the house, marriages with children and what I say would fall very short, the house is spectacular in every way, location, cleanliness, size, comfortable, we found it incredible and we will definitely repeat!! Rebeca is very friendly and helpful. It's well worth it.

Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. Quiet, small cottage to relax with wonderful surroundings.

As soon as we stepped into the apartment, we felt a sense of calm. It's almost impossible not to feel relaxed while surrounded by the beautiful countryside views. The house was designed to capture the scenery, especially with the large living room and master bedroom windows positioned perfectly west. We often preferred having dinner at home while catching a view of the mountain side sunsets over eating out for the evening.

We were warmly welcomed and given a short tour of the house. The house was very cozy and also had everything we needed during our stay. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and quick. The village is quiet, but with a good restaurant and the nice delicatessen around the corner. You can also be in Burgos in a few minutes. In short, highly recommended! 😊

What an amazing place! Stunning views of the mountains. Completly away from everything. A comfortable and very peaceful place in an extraordinariy beautiful setting.

We just got back from spending 3 wonderful days in this fantastic accommodation that looks like it's out of a fairy tale! The first thing to highlight is Ana's close and affectionate treatment. The truth is that from minute 1 she was attentive to everything we could need to make us feel at home! And what about his house... decorated with exquisite taste, in a very quiet town that invites you to disconnect, it makes you live a magnificent experience that you will not forget! We were traveling with a 1-month-old baby and everything was easy, they took care of leaving us a crib ready, bathtub... Also note the location of the village, ideal for visiting many places of interest in Cantabria, as it is just a few minutes from cities such as Santander! Definitely a 10!! I wish I could go back again!

We loved staying at Belen's place. The house is situated in the mountains with beautiful views. When we arrived, Belen greeted us with a delicious cake. The place was spotless and the kitchen well-equipped. The house is also only a 10 minute drive away from Pola de Laviana, where you can find some nice restaurants and other amenities. Belen lives just next door if you need anything. An ideal base from which to also explore the rest of Asturias. We fell in love with Asturias and would absolutely stay here again. It was the same or even more beautiful. 😍 We are delighted. The village is small but has everything relatively close, Oviedo, Gijón, the peaks of Europe, Covadonga lakes. In the village you can do a hiking trail, host lakes and great co-hostes, and the cleanliness and the beautiful house

We were a couple of nights my partner and I to disconnect a little and, really, it's an ideal place for it. Ground floor of a two-story house with a small garden and stunning views. The apartment has all you need and is very comfortable. Exceptional cleanliness and communication with Lara de ten. It didn't make us good weather, but the village is a haven of peace and has a multitude of hiking trails to admire the scenery. We will definitely repeat!!!

Beautiful and traditional accommodation in the middle of the mountains. Ideal if you want to get to know the local life in remote villages and take walks in the mountains. We felt at home in the accommodation and it had everything we needed. The restaurant just across the street was also very pleasing.

Ap 9 is really private and has lovely outside space. Such a beautiful location with lots of lovely towns/walks nearby. Host is helpful and friendly.

Great place to disconnect and spend a quiet weekend, we really liked the house.

Unique experience nested in the mountains. Close enough to Potes and hiking but remote enough to really appreciate the Picos. Apartment had everything one might need. Pool was an added treat after long hikes. The tavern allows for great option to eat in Tudes and not have to cook. The staff was excellent! Highly recommended!

Comfortable, quiet accommodation with views. Martin was very attentive and showed a lot of willingness. The house was just like in the photos and as described. The location was ideal. The eggs were a nice touch.

The house was very nice and spacious, with all the amenities possible. A very big plot with a great bbq. Tomás was very attentive and was very kind at all times. Highly recommended!!!

We were 11 family, 6 adults, 3 adolescents and 1 girl. We all loved the house, garden, porch and patio. There was room for all, and for all activities. Juan Jose was very attentive to us, and the truth was that there was no problem with the house, its facilities, and its equipment. The antique furniture was beautiful and interesting, especially the sink in the bathroom in the master bedroom. We liked it so much that we will surely stay at La Casa de las Palmeras again. We ended up wanting to stay longer since we barely took advantage of the facilities! The house is very nice and with everything you need. With different outdoor areas, it's very cozy. Jesus Angel is very kind and approachable! Thank you for your attention!

Authentic Casona Cántabra with all the features that make this are and it’s people great . With easy access , lively decoration and 15 mins drive to all the beaches and towns worth visiting in the area .

Nice and cosy apartment in the complex. Easy to find and very good communication with the Host. The only disadvantage was the lack of mobile network and the WIFI connection was very unstable. If this is not mandatory for your stay I can highly recommend staying there for a few days to chill and explore the surroundings :)

Just perfect as a centre for walking in the Picos. The village is tiny, just a hamlet, but less than 5km from Potes (restaurants, shops). The house is huge, each bedroom is lovely and spacious, beds are comfortable, windows open to amazing views of the mountains and hills. The outside space is equally amazing, beautiful lawn to sunbathe on, huge verandah to BBQ on, plenty of parking. The kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms all have bath with shower over, there's a utility room with machines etc. WiFi was quick and supported 4 of us all browsing/streaming at the same time. Absolutely recommend - we were genuinely sad to leave
