Holiday rentals with a pool in Montalegre

Although we were not lucky with time, the stay was memorable and we thought we would go back. Beautiful house with excellent sights, very well framed. Very comfortable with excellent heating. We can easily find a place for lunch and dinner as kings.

Great trip, beautiful and atypical house with its beautiful stones and an impeccable interior. Top garden, with beautiful relaxing pool. Special mention for the setting, which is just magnificent, exotic and relaxing. With super cute neighbors 🐑 We really recommend this house, and hope to return for a future stay in Portugal! Clara’s place was amazing. The house is enormous and so beautiful. Clara was really helpful with all aspects of our stay and was always so responsive when we had any questions. The pictures really don’t do this place justice and as a group of 14, we had an amazing time. As a group our size, we had ample room for a peaceful stay.

We had a wonderful time at Arlindo's house. It is a beautifully restored farmhouse, with a lot of space and a nice swimming pool, which comes in really handy in the summer. The pictures on the website really don't do it justice, it is really luxurious and it is spotlessly clean. Arlindo and his wife check you in and out and are really lovely. Boticas is a small village, although with a nice municipal market where you can stock up on supplies. Although it is not very well explained in local tourism websites, this is a very interesting area, with a very rich pre-roman and roman past. There are several spectacular iron-age hill forts very close by and in the local museum you can see reproductions of the amazing warrior statues that were found in the area. We liked in particular the Carvalhelhos hill fort and the nearby fonte dos amores. I can therefore highly recommend both the property and the area.

Great stay, good business, beautiful view, great meals on the balcony table. It is a family house, very welcoming. The beds are not the best and the exterior lighting did not work, but nothing serious. The showers didn't catch well, but it wasn't a big nuisance either. The house has little room in the rooms to do its own clothes, in our stay it was not a problem because it was a short time. Other than that, impeccable. It has space to park at least 2 cars just in front of the house. The house is very well-equipped, ready to welcome guests, better than described, and although it is not mentioned, there is a small stove in the house and charcoal. The pool area is very comfortable, with swinging and also space to sunbathe on the lounge chairs, a little small for the number of people. Luis was very friendly and hospitable, always available to help and answer any questions. The area has a supermarket, coffee and small butcher 5 minutes away.

Mrs. Arminda was an excellent host! She explained everything in great detail, always helpful and attentive. The place is family-friendly. The dog Maia, the house mascot, is always ready to receive pampering and keep you company by the pool. I'll definitely be back!

The environment and listing match the listing description. The place is peaceful for those looking for tranquility, mountain views and a lake, swimming pool on site, football and volleyball court and an air of play for children. To go to restaurants and center you need a car. You are about a 30 minute drive from Parc Nacional du Gères. I highly recommend this place. Hosts are very responsive and respond very quickly to expectations and requests. I'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Maria’s place. It comes with a garden and BBQ area to share and a pool to dip in. The location was great to get around the national park in both directions. We would definitely stay here again.

Francisca, in addition to being extremely friendly, is super available and helps in everything that is needed. All the spaces in the house were clean and prepared to welcome us. We really enjoyed the experience, so we highly recommend it!

The house is amazing. Super nice and taking care of the details. The spacious rooms. The spectacular infinity pool and the Jacuzzi and beautiful sauna area.

A true haven of peace and regeneration! I had the privilege of enjoying an absolutely memorable stay in a simply wonderful place. The combination of the surrounding nature with the available amenities — swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna — provided unique moments of well-being and tranquility. It was an experience marked by peace, silence and comfort, perfect for disconnecting from the world and renewing energy. The moments for two were even more special thanks to the welcoming and caring atmosphere of this space. I leave with the feeling of having really rested, body and mind. A place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I undoubtedly hope to return.

The space was wonderful, and we considered that for us who were 4 was spectacular. Deu to rest and at the same time we were about 30 min from some Gerês waterfalls. A great kindness on the part of those who received us and we will return, without a doubt!

Everything was perfect! The space is amazing and was ideal for the weekend. The dog Maia is loving and only came to improve the weekend :)
