Holiday rentals with breakfast in Montalegre

The absolute Comfiest bed in the most serene surroundings. A must needed respite after a multi-day festival. The church bells and the mewling cows brought peace and joy to my soul.

We had a great 2 days. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive. The house is impeccable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Nothing beats the fact that every morning we had breakfast at the door. A real luxury. We would like to thank you for your kindness. We would happily stay again!

We (family with two almost adult children) really enjoyed our stay with João and his family! The property is incredibly beautiful on the slope with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The garden is landscaped with a lot of love. The fruit can be harvested. There is a tennis court (but rackets and balls must be brought). The bungalow is equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. The living area and kitchen are a little more simply equipped. However, this did not bother us. There is a private pool with 4 loungers and lounge furniture, which we enjoyed very much. The surrounding area is great for excursions and hikes in the national park.

Very friendly host, advice on restaurants in Arcos, walk on passadicos . Region to discover by Geres, Soajo and Lindoso for espigheiros, but traditional granaries. Village of Sistelo, Moncao, Vila nova de Cerveira. Don't forget Ponte de Lima. Taste the wineho verde produced from the region, as well as the arroz de sarrabulho. Quinta Lamoso is a green setting, quiet, swimming pool ,river and "guinguette" 15 minutes walk.

Alex and Julia were fantastic hosts, extremely generous with their delicious homegrown produce and very friendly - we really enjoyed sharing a coffee with Alex in the local cafe in the morning. The apartment is a great jumping off point for hiking in the national park. Definitely recommend!

This has probably been the been AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The new house built on top of an ancient mill is really special and very welcoming with great attention to detail, the host was extremely welcoming and attentive to our requests and the location of the house allowed both for sightseeing in Guimaraes and Braga, as well as for excursions to the mountains and the sea side. We stayed for a week and the longer we stayed the more we appreciated our living environment in the middle of a flowing river stream.

A beautiful spot in Portugal. The view, the surroundings, the grounds of the Quinta, the staff... everything just wonderful! We were very sad when we had to leave and will be back! Unfortunately it was very hot, but we still saw a lot by car and explored the area.

We loved our stay at the Medieval Mill! It was the perfect amount of rustic while still being comfortable and clean. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. The hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had! We did not have a car and got by easily by using the bus and Uber. The road noise did not bother us at all. In fact, we had the pleasure of listening to the sounds of a healthy river and fell asleep to the sound of frogs. :)

It is very well located, close to the citizen's shop and bus station. The room is very clean and comfortable. Clarice is extremely friendly and responds to all doubts quickly. Super recommend!!!

It was a privilege to have known D. Fátima. Always very attentive to our well-being. He helped us with everything we needed. A fantastic breakfast with a special mime (natural orange juice), which was provided to us by D's companion. Fátima. We did this little bike adventure, which were stored in the garage of the house. The apartment was exactly like in the photos ,the appliances worked perfectly , the location was excellent...I was able to park with ease in the free places. i definitely recommend this apartment to future guests !

Our stay at Quinta Dos Carqueijais was a perfect 10/10! We chose the Villa das Oliveiras, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings. It truly feels like you're immersed in the forest with beautiful views of the lake. The entire property is seamlessly integrated with nature, creating an idyllic setting for complete disconnection. The accommodation itself is stunning, perfectly equipped, and incredibly comfortable—far better than what you might expect from the photos. The breakfast is plentiful, with great attention to detail. Additionally, we had the chance to enjoy the spa facilities, which include a jacuzzi, sauna, massages, and a heated indoor pool, all at a very competitive rate. Quinta Dos Carqueijais is the perfect place to unwind for a weekend getaway or to celebrate a special occasion near the Peneda-Gerês National Park

We had a great time at Ann and her husband's place. They are lovely hosts, who made us feel very comfortable. The pool is a big plus. It feels like home. Above all, do not change anything and continue to make the guests who are visiting your beautiful home happy. we would have liked to continue the stay. Everything was perfect.

Casas da Li is a very cozy space, in a mountain village, at 500m altitude and so with fabulous views. Of course, the road is difficult by the curves, but with a good pavement. It's worth it for the contact with nature and the unique views. The facilities are very good, as are the breakfast. It was a very good experience.

Len and Isabelle are natural hosts. From the moment we arrived to departure, the pair made us to feel welcomed and at home. Their location is a true BnB and I found myself in peace during the stay. If it was the roosters crowing in the distance or my imagination chasing the thought of who built the home in the 1700's, I truly enjoyed this stay.
