Lake house holiday rentals in Mono Lake

My family of 5 stayed here as a home base for our trip to Yosemite. The minute we walked in we felt “pampered “. The house was spotless and so many thoughtful amenities. Our favorite part was sitting on the beautiful back deck! Wish we had more time here!

Nice, clean and spacious house. Anne was very responsive. Enjoyed the place very much. A bit expensive but got good value for the price. Overall very nice stay.

Alaina's cabin is paradise. Gorgeous setting looking over Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful space inside. Our family of 7 enjoyed all the rooms and amenities. Kayaking and paddle boarding. Playing board games on the deck. Meals at the large dining table. It was perfection and I highly recommend! Alaina answered all questions quickly and with kindness. 10/10

I like the place they made it so warming and home all the things are there or you need. I love my staying in the house.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautifully appointed and in a perfect location to fully enjoy Pine Mountain Lake. Ed was an incredibly responsive and proactive host—every question we had was answered quickly and thoroughly. His communication made the experience smooth from start to finish. The place was very cozy and perfect for our friend group mammoth snowboarding trip. The place was bigger than it seemed in pictures and very comfortable for 8 people. Close to a grocery store and the lodges. Overall great experience here. Just a little difficult to find at first. The stove top had a crack so we couldn’t use one burner. But we were still able to cook big meals. We would book here again if we come to mammoth!

We had a great stay. The fishing was fun and we caught some bluegill. Spotted some trout and bass but they were not biting. The house was great, clean, and perfect for our stay. The multiple decks were nice and we enjoyed our coffee out there. The management company provided great instructions. The home really added to our awesome Yosemite trip. Thank you for a great time.

A great stay in this spacious, bright and well appointed home. The deck was a huge plus that added to the feel of indoor/outdoor living. Very private space with in a quiet and scenic neighborhood.

The cabin was very cute and perfectly located for our needs and wants. Very quiet cabin inside.

Comfortable beds (I like firm beds) with pressed linens. Nice quality towels. Thoughtful bottles of water at the nightstands for those dry, high altitude nights. Good airflow for sleeping. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the deck for Star gazing and for morning coffee. Well stocked kitchen tools for cooking. Lara was easy to communicate with and very thoughtful. Had a great weekend under the sugar pines!

This house was beautiful and charming! It had great cooling methods and plenty of beds and bathrooms! Pool table was fun! Everything was easy to find throughout the house!

Charlie was such a great hostess! She was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. As far as the location, it was amazing! The house was huge and very private. There’s plenty to do within the house itself. I would recommend if you’re using this house for a Yosemite trip, take the South entrance as it is not only closer, but more beautiful.

This home was perfect for our family get away! Great location and super close to the perfect beach for families with small children. We will definitely be back for more Pine Mountain Lake fun.

Martins place was great. Close to Yosemite as well as some really nice local hikes and waterfalls Martin told us about. The house was super spacious and had a very homey feel to it with some cozy cabin vibes. There was ping pong and giant connect 4 for the kids as well as some other games, everything we could need to cook including hot sauces for days, and gourmet coffee maker with grinder. For the adults. Bathrooms were spotless and pipes never froze like they have in some of our previous mountain rentals when the temperature hit the teens.

The Ranch is a massive 40-acre property complete with its own lake, turkeys, horses, dogs who are still puppies at heart, and graceful owners to take care of their guests & animals with a great degree of love, care, & attention.Who knew horses were also puppies at heart, & long for human company and touch; they came to greet us each morning and followed us around while continuing to graze. Life comes to an absolutely standstill when you stay at such a place. The town of Mariposa is a 20 minute drive and nestled with cute cafés, a smoker bbq joint, a hidden bar salon, a craft brewery; all the makings and doings of a cosy town nestled amongst woods, rivers, and mountains. Thank you Stanley, for showing us your “ranch” way of life! This is what urban-ers dream of! On your way to Yosemite, live a little and stay outside or Mariposa at this magnanimous ranch; its openness, its wilderness, dark skies lit with an abundance of stars and moon will do you a lifetime of good; as host promises

My family and I really enjoyed staying in Nawara's home. We actually rented her house last year as well. We love the area and the lake. The house has everything a family of 6 needs and even more. We felt right at home. Kids loved the games room. The parking was easy and very convenient. Nawara's is a great host. She provided clear instructions and photos. Thank you so much, Nawara! Mykola

We LOVE this cozy home right by the lake. It has everything you need! Great views and walking distance to a semi private beach area & dock. The house is clean and has all the amenities you would need for a family vacation. The swamp coolers keep the place cool, even in very hot weather. We cannot wait to go back!

We had a very enjoyable long weekend at Jake's home. It was very comfortable and spacious. The location is quiet and relatively close to Yosemite, but be aware that it takes an hour or more to drive to most locations (Yosemite Valley, Hetch Hetchy, Tuolumne meadows, Mariposa Grove, etc), which can get tiring after a while. The house is in a gated community and it took us nearly an hour to get in the first night, due to a long line of people arriving at the same time. This was frustrating after the long drive, but lines at the gate were always present and it usually took us about 15 to get back in, which makes a short drive to the supermarket a much longer endeavor. Groveland seems to be economically depressed. It looks like most of the tourism stays inside the park or at the resorts (Rush Creek, Firefall Ranch, Evergreen Lodge) and the town has very few services and amenities. Restaurants close very early and many shops and services only open during the summer season.

Very cute house with comfy beds and nice clean sheets, towels, pillows and blankets. Nice well equipped kitchen. The host was very communicative and thoughtful. Very pleased with the Location as well. 20 mins drive to the Park entrance and lots of restaurants and grocery stores conveniently located. We are definitely coming back here.

Great neighborhood and very cozy home I had so much fun !!

This place has everything you need and it’s walking distance to the Snow Park. That makes it convenient to get a few runs in the morning, go back to the cabin for lunch and rest and then go back to the Snow Park later on when the crowds die down. Been staying here every year since my grandkids were born and they always look forward to the trip.

Just a few blocks from the main street with walkable restaurants and grocery. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood and beautiful yard. Comfortable bed and living room. Very thoughtful touches.
