The Sugar Shack

Located on the Elk River arm of beautiful Grand Lake we are just 2 mi from Flint Fire Marina where you can utilize the boat ramp or fuel up. You can enjoy a shared dock for fishing or swimming and park your boat on the NE side of the dock while you stay. Enjoy your private entrance and private deck with fire pit and BBQ grill.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. This Aframe is secluded with a beautiful lakefront view. Deer, horses, foxes and an array of birds can be seen from the front porch. Covered porch and stone patio with a fire pit and chiminea are available. Hot tub for two, and outdoor grill are available for cookouts. This is the perfect spot to get away from the city. You will never believe that you are on Grand Lake. The sunsets are incredible.

The Tiny Cottage (Jay City Limits)

The Tiny Cottage is perfect for guests who are traveling with kids or pets and would like to avoid a hotel. The Cottage has almost 400 sq. feet of personal space. It is fully equipped with a living room, galley kitchen, full bathroom, small bedroom, and private yard. The deck has patio seating. Pets need to be well-behaved. Fireside Retreat is truly an exceptional experience. A beautiful cottage for up to four guests that is spacious, secluded and features all the comforts of home!
