Spacious Studio & garden, free bikes, A/C, kitchen

Our spacious studio of approximately 43 m² is located on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Oudewater and in the middle of the peatland area of the green heart. The studio is a wonderful space to relax for a weekend and enjoy nature, but also a nice place to stay longer and discover the surrounding cities. The studio includes 2 bicycles with which you can reach the supermarket in 2 minutes and in about 5 minutes you are in the picturesque center of Oudewater with delicious restaurants.

Tiny House: 'The Henhouse' in Geervliet

A lovely old (1935) Hen House is the basis of this little studio (Tiny House). It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.

Boerderij Het Vinkenest in Oud-Alblas 16 people

Monumental farm Het Vinkenest in Oud-Alblas, located directly on the waterfront "De Alblas". The mills of Kinderdijk are a few kilometers away and are of course a must to go to. The old city of Dordrecht can be reached by car within 10 minutes, and in 20 minutes you are in Rotterdam. Recently, there is also an 8-person sloop for rent as an addition. This is the ideal location for a great family weekend and not suitable for groups under 25 years of age.

Our modernly furnished stay has a living/bedroom, private bathroom and kitchen. You have a private entrance and it is on the ground floor. All to yourself. It has air conditioning for heating or cooling. A space with a bright and quiet look, great for relaxing. In a quiet neighborhood. Central to Rotterdam, the windmills of Kinderdijk (7 km), Ahoy-Rotterdam (13 km) and Gouda (13 km). Also nice by water bus to Rotterdam or Dordrecht. E-bikes for rent.

The old Wagenschuur on the river Lek.

This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old carriage house, of which old beams have remained visible as much as possible. The cottage is located in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental Krukhuis farm, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage has its own outdoor seating. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

If you are a Nederlander or if you are planning to make a trip to the Netherlands, a visit to Kinderdijk should not be missed. It is fantastic to live near to the monumental windmills. The house is rented without a garden, but from inside or out on the balcony you will have stunning views of the mills. Close to Gouda (15min), Rotterdam (30min), Utrecht (40min), The Hague (40min), Kinderdijk (40min) and Keukenhof (55min) you find ‘Huize Tussenberg’. ‘Huize Tussenberg’ is situated in a typical Dutch nature area with windmills, cows, cheese and farms. ‘Huize Tussenberg’ is ideally located for touring the Netherlands or going to Amsterdam (1hr) by car or by public transport.
