Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mokuleia

We stayed end of May, the view was gorgeous. Monk seal beached itself right by the property, saw turtles, and the beach was not crowded.

Wow. This spot is the perfect location for three beaches: Kailua, Kalama, and Lanikai. Each one offers amazing views and sandy areas. You can do some snorkeling at Kailua or Lanikai. The Lanikai Pillbox Trail is a good one. The cottage had everything that I could need. The beach towel, cooler, and laundry were particularly valuable amenities for me. Thank you!

Charlie’s place was just as pictured & more! The space is a corner unit located on the second highest floor & has beautiful views over looking the ocean, Waikiki beach, city & the mountains. The unit was very clean, perfectly designed & easily walkable to the beach & local restaurants. It was a perfect rental for our first trip to Hawaii & Charlie is an amazing helpful host!

We had the best time here. So close to Waimea Bay which became our fav beach, it was less than a 10 min walk! Absolutely wonderful place to stay, also very kind and helpful host!

We had a wonderful stay at Melissa’s home in Makaha Valley! The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed—including thoughtful touches like toys for our baby, which made a big difference for our family. Melissa was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is peaceful and private, set within a secure gated community. It’s perfect for families with young children who are looking to relax and enjoy a slower pace. While most tourist attractions are about a 40-minute drive away, the setting more than makes up for it if you’re not planning to be out all day. Overall, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a quiet, kid-friendly getaway (away from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas) on Oahu!

Great stay and we would’ve booked for a longer trip for this Airbnb but our family provided for the rest of our stay. My partner and I enjoyed all the amenities especially since we had our baby with us. Besides the beautiful view and the thought out room design. It really made a difference with everything provided from the kitchen, parking, even the amenities for the beach. Jayden and his team were very responsive. We had kindly asked to check in early which I was hoping for and felt so grateful to have been accommodated because traveling with a baby is literally the Olympics. I truly appreciate him and his team!! I definitely would recommend this airbnb to my friends, family, and to the person who is reading this review!!

We had a great stay. The place is cozy, has a great view and amenities and supplies. It is in great location, close enough to everything in waikiki but away enough to not deal with the busy and louder areas. Great host who was very informative, accomodating, detailed and gave alot of recommendations.

Maurie was awesome, and the place was great! Absolutely worth the price, and she was always responsive with helpful tips to make my first Hawaii trip even better. The place was perfect for what I wanted to do, very clean and with the amenities advertised. Everything was as advertised and she went above and beyond regarding any questions that I had about the place or the surrounding area. Thanks again for all of your help.

Beach view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous, beach was perfect and not crowded, definitely make use of the snorkel equipment!

Great location, walking distance to Turtle Bay Resort (restaurants, beach etc). Stayed here for 4 nights while we explored the North Shore. The condo was really nice, clean and stocked with everything we needed. Would recommended.

Sue's apartment is fantastic! It is perfectly equipped, beautifully decorated and has all the beach essentials. I immediately felt at home. The Ritz Carlton beach is very close by and other surfing or swimming spots are within easy reach. Great location on the North Shore. Sue is a very thoughtful host! I can highly recommend Sue as a host and her apartment.

This place is such a steal! Great price and in walking distance from the beach and a bunch of great restaurants. Take’s food recommendations were so good and we had an amazing time. Best part was coming home to the nice AC set to the perfect temp after a day in the sun! Highly recommend :)

This was a great place to stay if you want to get away from the really touristy areas on the island. The beach is beautiful there. This is definitely a local hangout spot where you can watch surfing from the linai most of the day. We went down and played in the waves a couple of times and the locals were very friendly to us. There was some loud music at night, but I kind of thought it was fun. The latest it was going was about 10:30 pm. We traveled all over the island in a week and this was a good home base to come back to at night. We did make sure to leave about 45 minutes early to each location we visited since there is only one road to travel the west side of the island. One negative is that there are several homeless encampments along the last few miles of the drive. However we did see homelessness all over the island, but it seemed more prevalent on the west side. We did not see any homeless on Makaha beach by the condo. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location within the complex. Our daughter enjoyed seeing who was in the pool from the unit so she could go down and meet friends. Cross breeze nice as AC wasn't needed most of time. The only issue I had was the tub faucet to convert to shower...it's invisible and tool about 5 mins to figure it out (it's literally the top of the faucet that can be pulled up to enable the shower valve).

Highly recommend this condo! The views were amazing and every time we walked in the door it was a treat! Endless blue ocean views. The hosts were always responsive. The only drawback was some construction noise from a nearby highrise but otherwise it was quiet. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Pua Moana. It is the perfect size for our small family. The unit is beautifully maintained, clean, and well stocked. We were able to walk to the beach and the Ritz. Scott takes pride in maintaining the unit and cares for his guests. He gave us a quick check-in orientation and tips/updates on things happening while we stayed. We will defiantly consider another stay at Pua Moana.

I’d love to keep this a secret but I have to give our host props! This place was awesome. Great everything — the location, host, value, cleanliness, quality furnishings, etc. I hope to make it back again near the end of the year.

This place has the perfect view, very clean and if you want to cook it has everything you need. The first bedroom was very hot and is only mid May, we use the bed in the living area and kept the door open and the three fans provided and it was ok to sleep at night but if you have to give one of the fans to the other bedroom it may get to hot. I don’t know how it will be during July and August. The bathroom is very small so if you are a big guy keep that in mind. The bed is very soft so also think about that. There are chairs and some snorkeling equipment but we didn’t used them.

Litan was a great host and responsive. The townhouse was in a good Northshore location with a beach close by. it was perfect for 4 of us. The provided beach chairs, cooler, towels, and umbrella were nice amenities too. thanks again! Eric

The location and view can't really be beat here! We've been to Waikiki a couple of times and Eleanor's place has been our favourite accommodation. We travelled with our toddler and made the screen doors work for nap time. The location meant we could walk everywhere we wanted to go really easily and we enjoyed the beach and the two Ilikai pools. Loved the coffee shop downstairs too. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Loved spending the evenings on the lanai watching the busy beach and catching glimpses of the Hilton's luau. We also had a great view of the fireworks which miraculously didn't wake the baby!
