Welcome to Åkhult and our little house located on our farm, 18 meters from our dwelling house. When you look out of window or door you will see Lake Fiolen. This lake is a spring lake with very clear water. Here you can both swim and go fishing. Around the lake there is a small road of 8 kilometers. There are many who walk, run, or bike. This is a old barn that is easy renovated. We have internet and tv with chromecast, however its not always that it works. If you need tv or internet to survive we recommend that you search for something closer to city. This house/ cottage suits family’s who wants to be close to nature. The house is 100meters from the sea Helgasjön. Fireplace directly by water is provided when asked. We speak German and English. We do have boats with 5 to 10ps engines that can be rented by guests.

Lake House at Skälsnäs Mansion in Småland

On a peninsula of the famous Lake Helga in Småland, with a rich fish population, forests and an abundance of animals, we rent out a lake house directly on the lake. Horses and sheep graze on the property, which was once owned by Gustav Wasa. Dogs (max. 2) are welcome, at a cost of € 12 per dog/night. A boat (4.5 hp motor) can be hired for €50/day including fuel. You can also rent our ‘Guesthouse’ (see there) and ‘Brygghus’ (see there), both with lake view.
