Beach house holiday rentals in Mission Bay, San Francisco

We had a lovely time at Yan Fang’s place, the location was perfect - we walked to the beach almost every day! It was also convenient to have the Muni metro stop right at the end of the street, we rode the Muni all over town (inexpensive and easy!). The house was clean and comfortable and Yan Fang included extra snacks and kitchen items for us, which was nice. We loved our time here and would recommend.

Easy to find. Felt very private at the end of a quiet residential road. Whale Watching! - from the living room and master bedroom we could see whales. We didn't expect to be able to watch whales from the warmth of the house. We could also walk across the street and stand on the lookout and watch whales from there, as well. The closest beaches must have suffered a landslide because access was down a muddy embankment. The 2nd beach about .5miles away was lined by homeless people living in RVs - wasn't a fun walk to the farther beach. Highly recommend Moss Beach and San Pedro beach for easier access. San Pedro has a busy Taco Bell right off the parkinglot.

I booked this place for my mom and brother who were visiting the Bay Area for a week. The cottage is located behind the host’s house. It looked just like the photos, with clean bathroom (with hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), kitchen (with basic kitchenwares and full fridge), comfortable queen size bed, and living room with futon and a large TV. I noticed that the house is conveniently located near BART station, which made it easy for me to visit them even without a car. It’s right by I-80, 5 minutes walking distance 99 Ranch, and 15 minutes walking distance to the BART station. There are also lots of restaurants around the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

What a peaceful retreat and a wonderful host! We have stayed on Richmond Point several times while visiting our daughter at Cal and it never disappoints. The view from here is incredible! And Vivien’s place is just perfect. You have the entire lower level to yourself, with your own private deck literally on top of the Bay, with views of the city and both the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridge. It’s a great location to get to Cal, to S.F. or wine country. And Vivien is the perfect host—welcoming but not intrusive, and just simply delightful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Such a beautiful spot ! The view and the deck are just breathtaking… so much marine life and lovely birds swooping by all day. The deck was not as well cleaned as the house , but we didnt care one bit ! Swept away cobwebs and had a great stay. Thanks so much, Matthew. All the best, Alma

Perfect spot for a family wedding! We stayed at this Airbnb in Half Moon Bay for a family member's special day and it was ideal. Being right next door to the wedding venue (Mavericks House) made the whole experience seamless. We had two units, which shared parking, and it worked out great. Having our own space while still being close to family was a huge plus. The location was also amazing, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. We loved exploring the local eats and being able to spend quality time with our loved ones. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Half Moon Bay.

Monika's place was indeed a home away from home. The location was great, and the place was extremely clean. She also did as good a job as any host that I've dealt with in providing detailed instructions regarding the facility, as well as all kinds of info about local points of interest and available services. Indeed top notch. My family and I were visiting San Francisco, and Monika's place afforded us a very convenient and more reasonably priced option to downtown. No question that we would look to stay there again when we get back to the area.

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Very clean home, responsive and proactive host, well appointed kitchens and baths, beautiful yard…overall a great place for the family to stay.

The house is clean, quiet and spacious with lots of natural light. I loved the location close to the beach and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We were very comfortable and the hosts were very helpful. We had a great stay!

Wonderful and clean place to stay! Place was bright in the daytime (skylights), kitchen was well equipped, toddler toys were great for entertaining little ones. No iron (and it wasn’t listed) but there is dryer on the bottom level and you can refresh any wrinkled clothes that way. 😉 Great location as a supermarket (Safeway), restaurants, and bank (Wells Fargo) are all within 2 blocks - and Golden Gate Park is m closeby. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, the street is nice and wide and it was great having a driveway in SF! The street parking also isn’t as horrible as other areas so all in all, an stress-free and comfortable place to stay. Jessica and Daniel were also super helpful in answering questions prior to booking (my elderly father requires handrail for climbing stairs and the staircase has one). Highly recommend Jessica and Daniel’s place and would love to stay here again next time in SF.

Dan‘s place was absolutely amazing. Perfect location, great views and he responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be staying here when we come back to the Bay Area. Thanks again Dan!

Fatima was very responsive and helpful when we had a problem with our Airbnb account. We would not have been able to stay at her wonderful home if she had not gone out of the way to fix the problem. I am so grateful that she responded quickly. Aside from the fact that her home is lovely, she made us feel at home.

My family stayed for 3 days visiting me and this place was perfect. Heather was so responsive and even answer my call immediately at 10pm when I was not able to find the place. Me and my had a good time there.

A beautiful home decorated with lots of style and everything you could need. Really comfy beds and a nice quiet neighbourhood within easy reach of the beach, parks and exploring downtown. Really responsive hosts who were very helpful.

I highly recommend Carol and Phil's place if you're looking for a quiet, clean, and beautifully laid out place to stay. The unit connects to their home, but is very private as it is separated from the main house by a closed and curtained door. It butts up against a golf course, but the holes are far away so you don't see or hear anyone. Very lush and green as you're surrounded by the golf course and the owner's well maintained flower garden .There's a stone patio leading to the front doors, a great place to have your morning coffee. A coffee station/kettle/microwave/fridge set up is convenient for quick snacks or drinks. Each room has a queen bed, lots of closet space for use. The home is a short drive from SF's airport, and close to the expressway if you're heading into the city or beyond, south or north. And there's a parking space for one car, adding to security and convenience. Would definitely stay again if we are back in the area!
