Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mission Bay, San Diego

We really enjoyed are time at the beach house. It was a great location and very close to every where we wanted to go. It is absolutely a beautiful place to stay with family.

Despite the gloomy June weather we had a great time in Mission Beach. This house was right on the cove side, so not as windy or as loud as staying on the ocean side. Easily able to walk anywhere in Mission Beach up to Pacific Beach. The hot tub was nice to relax in on cool evenings and the house was comfortable, lots of outdoor space with balconies off every room. The only unexpected thing (maybe I missed it in the listing) is that on the top floor you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the 3rd bedroom but it wasn't a big deal. Japanese toilet was a big hit! Will definitely consider staying here again.

Our family had an amazing time. Perfect place to spend family time together. The rooftop outdoor space was a favorite spot for all of us. Convenient location. Quick walk to Bay and good local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We were two families with a 15-month old and a 6-month old kid. We loved how the space was super baby-friendly. Safety gates, toddler tables/chairs, crib, etc. Very clean. The property is just a few steps away from the beach. Good restaurants within walking distance. Sea World 3 miles away. Jarrod and Maria provided everything we needed and more. They are also very responsive to questions. We highly recommend this property to anyone staying in San Diego!

We loved staying at this house! It was perfect for our family of four—super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The space was really comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The location was great too—close to everything but still nice and quiet. The little touches throughout the house made a big difference, and the host was awesome—super friendly and easy to communicate with. We had such a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Totally Perfect! Just a stroll away from Belmont! 15 min drive to the Zoo! A few steps to the boardwalk and the beach! Neighborhood was quiet and inviting! A very professionally maintained rental property. Felt almost resort-like in the organization (labels in the kitchen cabinets, reduced clutter, cleanliness). We loved using the outdoor items provided such as towels, tommy bahama beach chairs, surf boards and boogie boards. We were worried about fitting our Kia Sportage in the garage alongside a Tesla, but had no problems with either. We look forward to future trips here!

Comfortable and no major problems.

Stayed at Angela’s beach condo for a week and a half and loved it so much! So nice to have a dedicated parking spot as we’ve stayed in this neighborhood before and sometimes finding parking can be tricky. It was wonderful to be close to the beach and my favorite PB restaurants - I could easily walk to get coffee, pastries, tacos, and a great local yoga studio. Would love to be back in the future - thanks for a great trip Angela!

Tamaras listing was exactly like her pictures for a first timer In san diego the location was so beautiful and peaceful right off the beach exactly what I needed for a mini vacation I loved that it had its own little cozy balcony, and rooftop grill/ fire pit overlooking the view of imperial Beach there was so much to do in walking distance you couldn't beat the price for this place would definitely recommend and the host was very helpful and accommodating to any questions we had no matter the time if day thank you for making my stay worth it !

This wonderful find was amazing!! Beautiful decor, not cluttered, very clean and everything had a place and easy to find. They made sure that if you forgot something, they had it there for you! Richard literally thought of everything, we were amazed!! Very cozy outside with a lovely fireplace to sit around and beds to sit in the sun 😎 If you stumble across this place, you will not be disappointed ! Loved staying here a second time! Make sure you drop people off/unload in front of the unit to avoid making others wait to park and don’t get a giant car - the garages are a tight fit like everywhere else in mission beach.

The location is perfect for sightseeing in San Diego, many of the locations are within walking distance or a few minutes by car. Vivian is a very good host, she was always attentive and responded quickly. The only issue we had was that we hardly had any hot water.

We had a great stay! It was close to the beach and easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Bradley was very responsive and helpful!

My fiancée and I enjoyed our stay here. We couldn’t have had a better location. It is on a quiet street but very walkable to restaurants, shops, cafes, and the cliffs/beach. We stayed for 9 days and both worked the whole time and never had any issues with the WiFi; it was very fast. The space is a little small for two people to take work calls from at the same time, but we made it work without any issues. Plus you can walk to and work from the nearby cafes if needed. The bed & pillows were all comfy. AC is a bonus, and there was a little fan to put bedside for hot sleepers like me. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and a basket of snacks which was a kind gesture/nice touch. There was also laundry detergent available for our use. The bikes are a bonus; there were a ton available the whole time & it’s a very bike-able area. Richard was great with communication and we felt right at home. Thanks for the lovely stay!

The house is lovely and a place where you can enjoy serene surroundings. It’s located on a very private lot where you don’t see the neighbors and they can’t see you. We truly enjoyed sitting on the balcony, bird watching and listening to the local wildlife. We were far enough from town where we could enjoy a peaceful and quiet setting, but close enough to easily get to it for all the local events. David, the host, was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. Also, he was kind enough to let us know the property was available one hour before our check in time in case we got into town early. Everything was clean and in working order. This property is definitely on my repeat list

This is one of those true gems you’re absolutely stoked to stumble upon. The minute we drove down the country lane and saw the house, my wife and I knew we had found a truly magical getaway. We both agree it’s one of the top three homes/properties we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing! Every square inch of the property is amazing. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is stocked and perfect for those who enjoy cooking. We cooked three of the four nights because we just loved the atmosphere and views so much! Our four year old absolutely loved exploring the trails, pond and backyard. The hot tub was in perfect condition. Rare! The awesome fire-pit on the balcony was perfect for making smores and staying warm while listening to the frogs sing while stargazing. We played games, watched movies and just had a perfect long weekend. The worst part was having to say goodbye! It was so peaceful, it’s going to be hard to beat such a good nights rest. Another week would have been nice!

Amazing place to stay with our family. So much to do on the ranch that we didn’t even have to leave to find something to do. It felt like a home away from home and being surrounded by animals was an animal lovers dream. My teenage nephews who are always on their phones even loved it here. Nick the dog was the sweetest and walked us and our guests to the front door and showed us around the ranch. Chancelor was an amazing host and provided us with so many recommendations and offered a tour of the ranch. We definitely have to come back to take him up on his offer so we can learn more. My family and I are thinking of making this an annual trip!

Wendy and Tony are very communicative, proactive and kind. They offered great suggestions of local areas. There are multiple patio areas with amazing plants and seating areas to enjoy the beautiful weather. We had a great stay, thank you!

An unforgettable stay — highly recommend! We had such a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and felt cozy yet spacious. Every detail—from the comfortable bedding and well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and made us feel completely at home. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, breathtaking mountain view from the pool. We especially how quiet the neighborhood was. Our host Posh was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it whole.

This place is amazing. I slept so well since the location is quiet and secluded. Colleen is quick to respond and super kind. The design of the cabin itself is pretty as well. I would 100% stay here again.

I absolutely fell in love with the historical charm of this cabin! It’s such a delightful spot, filled with an amazing atmosphere that makes it a perfect getaway. One minor hiccup during our trip from Arizona back to San Diego was the lack of cell signal, which made checking in a bit challenging. However, that small inconvenience couldn’t dampen our spirits! The vintage bathtub added such a lovely touch to our stay, and I appreciated the old-fashioned heating system that kept us cozy when the night air turned chilly. The porch was a gem as well! Nestled in nature and featuring comfy seating, it was the ideal spot to unwind. While the area doesn’t allow for outdoor lights, having a flashlight handy is a great idea if you’re arriving after sunset. The location is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and we enjoyed the fascinating history shared. Overall, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to experience this. Another bonus is that Julian is just down the street!

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.
