Luxury 3-room suite, fireplace, soaking tub

Anna ElizabethRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The luxury of a 5 star hotel with the feeling of home! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. From the above and beyond touches like breakfast, wine, coffee, etc., it was the perfect place for us to stay visiting family for the weekend. They were so kind and helpful at (and before!) check-in, and gave us privacy during our stay. They’ve thought of everything one might need, like a heated mattress pad, extra blankets, a beautiful bathroom with supplies, and fun movies to pick from. They are also incredibly kind and wonderful people. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs a cozy spot to rest their head! Thank you for everything!!

Home Share Solo Room with Breakfast

SalimRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The stay at Liz & John’s Airbnb was incredible. The house was welcoming, and you feel at home immediately. They are great listeners and truly value Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I have known Liz & John for many years as I used to have employees from out of state who have stayed with them regularly when on business trips. I recently went through some rough times and need a home to stay and found refuge at their humble and beautiful home. Liz and John are amazing hosts, and their breakfasts are prepared from the soul. They are like a family to me, and I am so grateful to them for making me feel so comfortable and welcomed. My stay happened to be over the thanksgiving holiday and was invited to join their family and friends for thanksgiving dinner. It was one of the best thanksgiving dinners I have ever had as Liz is a master chef. May God bless them both as they continue to help so many that needs a warm bed and welcoming home to stay. I am so grateful for Liz and John. Best, Salim

Room with a View and Breakfast

JanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I so enjoyed staying with Elizabeth and John. They were well organized and clean. But above all they were friendly and made me feel right at home. Another guest cooked meals every evening for all of us as we dined family style with good conversation. And coffee was available every morning.

We have stayed at David's place several times and always enjoy our time in his listing. He is a responsive host and has a well-stocked kitchen. There are games and darts and access to movies that can be streamed. I slept well in the back room. Thanks for a comfortable stay, Erica

Georgian Room in Mansion

AliciaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Wow. Just awesome. Easy check-in. Host gave short tour, noted extra amenities, add-on options, left wine to be enjoyed on porch in chiller for guests, extra water in hall fridge, etc. There is fruit, trail mix & coffee for a light breakfast. We stayed in the mansion & it was very quiet & relaxed, we felt as though we had it to ourselves. Wonderful details throughout the mansion. Gertrude’s Video Lounge was a highlight of our trip, where we had a private two-hour window & enjoyed popcorn, drinks, a movie & massaging theater chairs. The Georgian Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. The spa shower was lovely. The fireplace added extra ambiance. The bed & linens were very comfortable. Outside on the grounds, there were two great danes, cats, a duck and ducklings & koi fish in a pond. This location also acts as a Trolley Stop & you can pick up several very cool tours, if you like with ease. Not nearly enough characters to explain how much we enjoyed our time. We will stay here again.

Mansion Guestroom in Downtown with Shared Bath

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was such a great and interesting place to stay! It's an old mansion, felt like it could be the setting of a murder mystery like Knives Out. My room was great--large, comfortable bed, felt luxurious. The first floor has several large, shared rooms with elegant decor (like where the detective would interview you about the murder). I didn't really hang out there, but that would have been cool to do if I had had a longer stay. The house is close to Loring Park, which is lovely, and pretty close (short drive, 15-minute walk) to downtown Minneapolis. I had seen from other reviews that the bathrooms were shared, so I knew that, but I think it should be clearer in the listing itself. I also didn't realize that you had to check in in a fairly narrow window, something like 3-7 pm, or else pay an extra fee. This wasn't a problem for me, but if my schedule had been different I would have been annoyed. I would definitely stay here again, especially for the very affordable price.

Convenient St. Paul location near Colleges

JosephRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I was able to work from the kitchen table- where there was cereal, lots of cut up fruit and homemade mini muffins- which were delicious! They made the availability of the kitchen area open which was really appreciative. Super nice people. The bed was very comfortable and the tub was super deep- which was nice soak in. The neighborhood was beautiful! Walked many miles. easy access to the very inexpensive public transportations systems. Thanks for the opportunity to stay with your family.

Pet Loving Garden home Minnesota Twins & Vikings

ArthurRating, 5 stars32 months ago
Monica was a very gracious host. She really took us in under her wing. She stocked the fridge for us and even got some gluten free bread when she realized that a member of our party was gluten intolerant. She went out of her way to help us feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. Her place was very clean and tidy. She even had boxes that we could put our toiletries in to keep them in the bathroom. She also had a fabulous garden. She said it wasn't as great as it usually is, but we thought it was lovely all the same. I would definitely stay with her again. She's a great lady and we were lucky to meet her and be hosted by her. Thanks!

This was the perfect place to crash after having car trouble, while on a tight schedule. With YouTube fireplaces on the tv’s in each room it was just right.

Jacuzzi suite, dual shower, Fairgrounds

KatherineRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I stayed here for 11 days in the jacuzzi suite and had a wonderful trip. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is dark. The bathroom is well-appointed, there's a fridge, and there's lots of good seating. There's a small room/walk in closet that has a microwave and coffee machine; if you were traveling with small kids you could probably set them up a little sleeping area in there. One thing to note is that the AC unit is in the living room, not in the bedroom; there are fans to help direct the cold air into the bedroom. I sleep hot and was still comfortable, so this fan system worked for me. There's also a kitchen area downstairs where you can cook and store food. The host was very responsive with any questions I had during my stay. It's easy walking distance to Hamline University, and close to a cute cafe (Gingko's).

My boyfriend and I stayed a night in the hayloft and enjoyed everything the property and room had to offer. We especially loved the Koi pond and the beauty of the home, inside and out. We’ll definitely be staying again!
