Previously booked this airbnb after a friend booked a similar airbnb next door to the current one last year when i came to Osaka. Really convenient and good pricing for an airbnb as its a few minutes walk from Shin-Osaka Station. Overall a good experience too since they have amenities which are able to accommodate the trip for me and my friends and a host which is responsive and friendly to our needs

A great place a bit out the way, I would definitely stay again .I would recommend to rent a car or a bicycle to get back at night. the local Transit shuts down 8ish. but a very nice place. just look for all the boats.

The place was wonderful, and description was perfect. It was walking distance to food, massage, and close to train station. I highly recommend if you are visiting Kyoto.

It is a gorgeous place located really close to Inari shrine and plenty of Izakayas. We had a lot of fun staying here as a group of friends.

This home was perfect for our family (parents + 2 college-age daughters). We appreciated the historical and beautiful home. The sleeping arrangements were particularly good - very comfortable mattresses, pillows, and linens. There were good safety features too, like flashlights around and well-lit stairs. We appreciated being a bit away from the crowds near the center of town but still near subways and buses. We stayed for a week and so explored the quiet neighborhood pretty thoroughly, and particularly enjoyed seeing a small school bus full of very sleepy preschoolers in their small straw hats a couple of times! We will definitely try to stay again on our next trip.

This lovely home was a delight to stay in. Lovely authentic touches, a great bathtub, good kitchen and serene and comfortable bedrooms. The neighborhood is great for biking, there is a nearby shopping street and plenty of conveniences. Emily and team were responsive, helpful and friendly. Were I to come back to Kyoto, I would absolutely stay again!

Great apartment, very clean in decent area

I had a really nice stay here and would definitely recommend the place further! The location was lovely - a quiet and cozy area, but at the same time close to both public transport and restaurants, which made it easy to get around. The place itself was pleasant, with a homey atmosphere that made me feel comfortable right away. The host was both friendly and helpful throughout the stay. All in all a good experience and would have chosen the place again by a possible next time. Many thanks for a great stay🩷✨

An excellent stay for our group with no problems.

Loved my stay at this listing in Kyoto. It was very comfortable and I especially liked the bath. If you are not used to sleeping on the floor on futons, like I was, you’ll be happy to know that you quickly get used to it and they were quite comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet with a very easy access to the local subway station, which can connect you directly to the Kyoto station so it’s very convenient. The host was very kind over messaging and I would recommend this place to anyone and will most likely book it again when I return to Kyoto in the future.

We enjoyed a lovely stay here. This is a great location that is quiet but near the train station and bus stop that made it very accessible. Also very close to the mall with lots of restaurant options as well if you don’t feel like traveling too far. Very cozy and lovely interior. Furthermore the hosts were above and beyond hospitable. I lost my bag with my passport on the train and they went out of their way to help me contact the lost and found and communicate with them so I was able to have my bag shipped to me. It was extremely helpful, I don’t know what I would have done otherwise! They provided excellent service and I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Great stay. Plenty of space and beds. Great location very close to the Fushimi Inari. Great restaurants nearby. Our kids especially liked Dragon Burger. The massage chair and private bath were nice touches.

This house was located just a few minutes walk from Kyoto station, but it felt very separate from all the hustle and bustle. It was very modern and comfortable. Would definitely recommend if you’re staying in the Kyoto area!

Mamoru’s wonderful traditional Japanese l home Nachiya was the highlight of our trip. We loved the traditional Japanese aesthetics and had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like coffee, drinks & snacks, and local recommendations. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This place is tucked in a more residential area so we can retreat to a peaceful place after all day out and about in Kyoto. Every Corner here shows thoughtfulness, from the stocked fridge, to the cups in the bathroom with cups for the adults and cups for the kids. We had a great time watching the rainy garden in the tea room and having two bathroom is so nice when traveling with two kids. Our host is always very responsive and super helpful. We had a great time here!
