Attention - footpath is closed from March 31 - Oct 2025 due to Alpe Adria cycle path construction. Optimal for cycling, hiking. Toilet, shower 30 m in host house. (Optional use of washing machine also possible) Amenities: Refrigerator in the cabin. Grill, fireplace, cooking facilities (outdoor), solar shower outdoors. Our house is located in Triglav National Park at the edge of a little village on the hillside of Pokljuka plateau, with beautiful views on the Bohinj valley. The house is comfortably equipped in rustic style and offers peaceful accommodation in pure nature. There are many possibilities for pleasant walks around the village. Nearby are many starting points for hikes in the beautiful mountains of Julian Alps. It is also close to turistic centers of Bohinj (10 km) and Bled (25 km).

Lovely cottage in wilderness of the National Park

The chalet on mountain pasture Uskovnica is equipped with all the luxury that you would want on your vacation. Please note that it is a mountain cottage and there is gravel road (2 km). On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen, a large dining table, a sofa and a bathroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with access to a large balcony. There is a Finnish sauna that you can use to relax. There is also a table with a bench outside, everything for relaxing after hiking.

Cozy alpine hut on Goldeckstraße

Away from the hustle and bustle lies our beautiful alpine hut. Right on the edge of the forest, adjacent to a farm with chickens, sheep, pigs and cows, you can escape the stress of everyday life and enjoy nature. My in-laws also live on the premises in the nearby main house. They are also happy to help you at any time with any questions. As a small note : In the summer months (about from May to October) our cows and sheep are on the alpine pasture.
