This renovated cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. Located on the beautiful Shade Mountain, it is a great spot to relax and unwind. Great for the family. The cabin has NEW BEDS. Beds are two double beds, 1 single bed, a futon in our sitting room that sleeps 1 person. The cabin has running water, an indoor bathroom that includes a flush toilet, sink and a shower designed for shorten showers. A modernized kitchen has basic cooking accessories to prepare meals as well a coffee bar.

King’s Country Quest

Our home is 53 miles from Harrisburg and 54 miles from State College. 10 minutes from Rt. 322. We live along a main road.We live in a beautiful setting in the country with Shade Mountain in the background. We finished our basement in 2019 and have around 1200 square feet of lovely and modern decor with a full kitchen.A dining table with 2 extra leaves. Large living room with wrap around couch and a regular couch which comes out into a queen bed along with a comfortable recliner.

The Fern house was a beautiful hidden cabin and great spot for peace and rest. Jessica was a wonderful host providing the essential plus some surprise local treats. She gave clear instructions for the amenities and had thoughtful touches throughout to focus on nature, rest, and creativity. The state park near by was easy to get to and was great for hiking.

Susie’s place was an amazing space for me, my kids, and few other families and their kids. We were all so comfortable with ample sleeping space and tons of space for the kids to run around and play both inside and outside. We were nervous about there not being so much to do in surrounding areas, but we found plenty of things to do when we wanted to get out. Thank you Susie!!
