Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Midlands Province

Wow, this was definitely a home from home and an amazing place to enjoy Bulawayo, whist meeting family and friends. The place was spotless, spacious and more than we expected. Staff were professional, friendly and always helpful and on hand if we needed anything. We felt relaxed, safe, and at home. The pool was a bonus. We spent some afternoons swimming and enjoying the lovely sunshine. It was close to the town centre which made shopping and meeting friends very easy. My family and I loved the place and will definitely be back. Thank you, Cathrine and your helpful staff. This made our stay in Bulawayo very enjoyable. Again, what an amazing place, decor was fresh, modern and space was a bonus and very clean/spotless. The gardens were immmaculate and amazing, a credit to the groundsmen. Great value for money, well recommended.

The stay was amazing. Its such a big house so spacious. i got lost a few times at first around the rooms, lol. Its ideal for group visits , you will enjoy it as a family. had booked it for myself and my groomsmen plus their families, including 2 minors. The kids enjoyed the trampoline and the big TV. So it was perfect for us . The neighbourhood seems quite and private. The main bedroom was superb we were all fighting for it lol if you are group make sure you quickly run upstairs to choose it. We loved that the rooms had ensuites. We loved the place and will book again.

This place was perfect for our family of six — truly a home away from home. It had all the comforts we’re used to: reliable Wi-Fi, 24/7 electricity and water, beautiful landscaping, and a lovely gazebo where we enjoyed many sunny days. It’s also within walking distance of Consilla Shops (Chicken Inn, Creamy Inn, and Steers). Saa was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Gweru.

I had a group of 30 wedding guests over a weekend. The staff were extremely helpful. We arranged for meals to be provided and despite the large pax, the chef and the manager were understanding of special needs. Electricity is always a problem in Zimbabwe so the generator and solar were very important.

Our party of four visited Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe for a family wedding, and were fortunate to find Msasa Guest house had availability to accommodate us. From booking to departure Wendy and her team made us very welcome. We reached the place in the dark, and after a very long journey from the UK we were delighted to be greeted by Wendy along with the dinner we had booked, which was delicious. The place is amazing, very comfortable and clean, with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided along with the bottles of water we had requested. We decided to use the barbecue on our quiet day and this was prepared and lit for us, and cleared away as well. We purchased food for this in the Village shop which is two minutes walk away. Breakfast was offered at $5 each, dinners were $10. During our stay nothing was too much trouble, everything we asked was dealt with in a friendly and timely manner. The place is well secured with security alarms. Booked a spacious en-suite equipped with a king bed nice leather sofa and kitchen area. Bathroom was spotless. Netflix and YouTube available and a stable WiFi. The host (Priscilla) was very friendly to us and responsive. The kitchen has cooking facilities. However, didn’t see pots and place nor cups for those who need self catering. Ordered in so don’t need any of that. Would definitely book again next time when I’m in Gweru.

What an incredible host. Mantsebo goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. I highly recommend them for people traveling from outside the country. You will be well taken care of. Clean and safe environment. Any unit that this host manages/owns, I highly recommend.

Beautiful location in the suburbs with stylish, elegant grounds. We were stuck and really appreciated being allowed to check in early so we could work online—WiFi was fast and stable enough for video calls. The place is beautifully designed with high-quality furniture, and we especially loved the bed set on a deck above the lounge—just like my own chalet. The swimming pool and patio are a great bonus, and the staff were reliable and helpful throughout. Shaded parking was another plus. This will definitely be our first choice whenever we’re in Bulawayo.
