Cottage on a working market garden

Studio cottage with full bath and self-catering kitchen with pots and pans, etc., queen sized bed with fresh linens and towels provided. This cottage is on a working market garden. Maximum occupancy two adults. We do have a small bed that could be added to accommodate a small child about 6 years and under. WE WILL ACCEPT SOME PETS, BUT NOT ALL. We are one mile from grocery shopping. Local roads ideal for cycling. Thirteen miles west of Dayton. Price includes fresh flowers and vegetables from the garden during the season. One cat on the property. Cottage has ceiling fan and good air circulation and a window air-conditioner during the warmer months. There is a TV that streams Apple TV and Kanopy in the cottage, and excellent WIFI access. National Air Force Museum in Dayton is only 20 miles/ 30 minutes away. University of Dayton is 14 miles/ 20 minutes from the cottage. Dayton International Airport is 21 miles/ 26 minutes away. Your hosts are a hospitable couple who enjoy meeting new people. If no one else is booked after you, we can be more flexible with the check-out time.

I had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly nice, humble, and made me feel very welcome. The room and property were spotless, which I really appreciated. This home was so perfect. I went with my mom and husband. We played card games in the kitchen, watched tv in the living room, and enjoyed the record player. The fridge was so nice to have to keep leftover food and the stove was awesome to cook breakfast on. The beds were clean and comfy!

We’ve stayed at several places in the Dayton and Cincinnati area, visiting family, but this was hands down the best. So comfortable, beautiful finishes, quiet, amazing kitchen, and very spacious. There are a lot of stairs/levels, which was fine for us, but may be an issue for others. Would like to stay there again.

Meranie was very responsive from the get go! Every time we messaged her, she responded within an hour. The house was great, very clean & homey, and the neighborhood was very peaceful as well. Pet friendly with cages available, but no pet hair anywhere! Great. 100% would rent again! Thanks for a great vacation experience!

This was a cozy and convenient place, allowing me and my family to feel comfortable and relaxed during a very busy weekend spent in the Dayton and Franklin area. It has very easy access to the highway and other helpful locations like Sheets, Restaurants/Coffee, as well as a Walmart in walking distance. Altogether they were really helpful with any questions I had and you could tell they took pride in what they’re doing. If I had to be in the area I would stay again.
