This wooden cabin has a vaulted wooden ceiling and bamboo floors. Camp Creek flows past the deck to the Siuslaw River. Beautiful tranquil forest vistas are there to inspire you to write your novel. Inside amenities are brand new, including a Wi-fI dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer, microwave, wall-mounted swivel TV, and a ductless heat pump. A spacious bathroom has a glass shower, toilet, and vanity basin with large mirrors. There is a beautiful cedar deck with gas BBQ, railing, and two gates.

We are backed up to the Elliot state forest, very quiet and peaceful. Our nearest neighbor is a half mile away. We are 6 miles from reedsport where you can get groceries, there is a hardware store and some nice restaurants. We are about 9 miles from Winchester bay, where you can go crabbing, fishing or play on the dunes. There’s a nice one mile loop hike around lake Marie by the Umpqua lighthouse. Or you can hang out here, relax and watch the elk with a craft beer from inside our pub!

Bring your boat and tackle, or just your family, to enjoy this cozy two bedroom remodeled cabin. Less than one block away from Siltcoos lake, you can spend your days swimming, kayaking and fishing, put your feet up to watch a movie on the big screen tv, or borrow a book from our library. Cook up special vacation meals in the fully stocked kitchen, all you need to bring is food! This cabin has two separate bedrooms with queen beds in each. Fresh linens and blankets are provided.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.
