Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Mendrisio District

We travelled from America to Lugano to visit our daughter and found this beautiful place just outside of town! We did use a taxi from the train station when we arrived as we were not familiar with the bus schedule. The bus stop is a short walk around the corner from the house and once we figured out the schedule we had no problem getting around! The place is amazing and is set in a peaceful area with a nice patio and view of the countryside and a vineyard. The kitchen is amazing! The living room is very comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and top notch! Fabio was very responsive to any questions. He gave lots of advice and tips for the area. If we return we will definitely stay there again!

The house at the upper village of S. Abbondio is a very well-maintained, thoughtfully decorated private retreat that offers unique views of the lake, a pretty garden and spaces with all the necessary comforts and plenty of space. We felt very comfortable and would like to thank the host family.

We enjoyed our stay enormously. We were particularly impressed by the courtyard, which invites you to a cozy get-together on warm summer nights. The apartments are equipped with everything you could wish for and beautifully furnished. Communication was also very pleasant and you could always count on a quick response. Overall, a great recommendation and we would all come back immediately.

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at this place and felt comfortable from the first moment. Serge proved to be an outstanding host, not only extremely friendly and likeable, but also extraordinarily helpful and always committed to our well-being. Right after our arrival, Serge took the time for a detailed house tour and gave us valuable insider tips for the area. His recommendations for restaurants where to dine well, as well as for interesting activities and worth seeing excursions were helpful. The view from the property was breathtaking. A special highlight was the hot tub, which was just the place to relax after an eventful day. We are sure this was not our last visit with Serge and in his fantastic accommodation. We can fully recommend this place and Serge as a host!

Everything tiptop. Place was very nice, super equipped and very clean. The bakery is just a stone's throw away, so we always had fresh bread for breakfast. Alfred was very accommodating, helpful and flexible, we will be happy to come back.

It was just great! The location is a bit off the beaten path, but with a great view of the lake, this doesn't matter. The house was very clean and perfectly suitable.😀 Gladly again, thank you!

Tobia is a fantastic host with an incredible place. He was very responsive to all of my messages. The location had fantastic amenities. It’s in a cozy location, was very clean, easy to relax and I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip. Highly recommend!

Very nice welcome, we had a very pleasant time with Miahoua and her little girl who is particularly adorable. She is a warm and caring host. We immediately feel "at home". We recommend 100%, moreover, the place is just beautiful.

A very nice accommodation, Markus is always available and very helpful. The accommodation is beautifully and stylishly furnished, the view is breathtaking. The location of the house is very great, as it gives you an even more beautiful and unforgettable view of Lake Maggiore and is in a very pleasantly quiet area. Markus is very nice and gladly helped us with the arrival and departure times, as we were on vacation with a baby; he had full understanding for this. In the accommodation itself, there were great magazines to read and a folder and several brochures that informed about the possible activities in the area. In addition, everything in the folder was well described (waste disposal, operating instructions, regulations for departure, etc.). We can only recommend the accommodation, thank you for the hospitality!

We had a fantastic time and fell in love with the location. Had trouble with the air conditioning which was not resolved be they made a great effort to try to fix it. I assume it will be fixed and the place will be perfect.

We had a very nice week in Oscar's villa. Everything was perfect, the pool and the view are really fantastic. Oscar was immediately on the spot with questions and immediately took care of everything. He was easily accessible at all times. Cleanliness was very good. Kitchen fully equipped. We will be back for sure. I can definitely recommend the place. Thank you for the wonderful time, Oscar! Renato is a great and uncomplicated host, he was always available for us and even if only a little thing was missing, he immediately got it for us! The house is on a steep hillside (14% incline), there is a small path to the village (stairs), about 15 min. It is about a 25-minute drive to the lake and the castles of Bellinzone are very close. Renato even got us the first little things for breakfast and welcomed us warmly! We really appreciated that everything was there to take care of yourself (also spices etc) and also our dog was very welcome. We would love to come back! Thank you for everything Renato!

It was just right for a little getaway. I was able to refuel super; the surroundings and the house were a dream. I felt very comfortable right away. Andy was always very helpful and hospitable, thank you for everything. I can highly recommend the place. I would love to come back - next time with my family.

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!
