Bungalow holiday rentals in Menai Strait

Spacious bungalow, very comfy with complete amenities. We did not have kids with us, but I can imagine it will be perfect for group of friends with kids as there are a lot of playing space. There was just a bit of hiccup during check-in, but Patricia was very responsive so it was solved immediately. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely four nights at Ellen's place. I travelled with my elderly mother and her sister and partner plus my teenage daughter and her friend. Getting in was easy, the lockbox was perfect and having two keys was handy. Parking on the driveway was great and made getting out and about super easy. The bungalow is beautifully located by the seafront in Rhos on Sea and very close to the shops as well. Getting out to places like Conwy, Llandudno, Beaumaris, Snowdon and Betws Y Coed was easy. Nice touches like milk in the fridge and some cakes on arrival were lovely but we did have to pop out for teabags and sugar on arrival, before we could enjoy them. My mum is quite disabled, hence the need for a bungalow. We found the bathroom a bit tricky as there is a step up to the toilet and there is a 5-6 inch step up into the shower. Having said this, the bungalow isn't marketed as disabled accessible but it may be something to be aware of. All in all, a great stay, thank you!!!

One of the best accomadations I’ve ever stayed in! Right on the sea front, lots of room. Lorraine even offered early check in. Secure parking. Felt right at home. Loved the bathroom. Would certainly return. Thank you so much.

Beautiful location and luxurious house. Views along the Menai Strait were fabulous, especially with the sunrise. House is spacious and well laid out with plenty of room for our family of 8 adults and five children. Bedrooms are large and spacious, 3 fully en-suite, 2 with a large shared family bathroom and the sixth with access to shower and toilet next to it. Fab kitchen and two lounges. Would definitely stay again.

The house was spotless, very well equipped with good quality items and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, we never heard a sound other than the sea and the occasional seagull. The garden was very private. We went to Porthmadog and did a trip on the steam train to Beddgelert which is such a pretty village. We got an ice cream and sat by the river. Lovely shops too. We went to Portmeirion one day which was lovely as it was a warm sunny day. The most outstanding feature of course was the stunning view. It was an absolute joy to watch the sunsets as the big orange sun gradually disappeared behind the mountains. Something we will remember forever.

Perfect! The location is outstanding, the cottage so welcoming and homely with everything that we needed. We enjoyed the wonderful views, sea swimming, walks on the beach, coastal paths, sunsets and star gazing. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning, thank you.

Firstly, what a beatifu location. Very impressed with the facilities available. Parking is great and nice and private. Large outdoor space that gets the sun till evening. Can’t recommend this place enough!! We will be back here to explore more of Anglesey!

This was a great place for our family with 4 good sized bedrooms, a fabulous living area with wood burner - the kitchen had everything we needed. The garden was ideal for our young grandson - safe and secure. The sunsets were beautiful and the beach 15 minutes walk max, clean and ideal for the family. Gem of a place and we will be back!

Kirstie’s place was perfect! Living room is so spacious and fantastic views over the mountains and beach from the dining table! It was so peaceful, everywhere was clean and smelt amazing on entry. The place is really light and airy feeling. We love to walk so the distance into Harlech was great for us but those with mobility difficulties may find it a bit of a stretch to trek to and from. Would definitely return, thanks for a wonderful stay Kirstie! 🙏

My friend and I had a lovely week at Nicola' s bungalow. It was extremely well- equipped and the bottle of wine and Welsh cakes were very welcome. Nicola left very detailed and clear instructions on how to use the facilities, which isn't always the case, so our stay was made worry free .I think it might be useful to other elderly visitors to know that the 5 minute beach access is via a very steep road which we, unfortunately, were unable to take advantage of. Other than that Heddfan is ideal holiday accommodation and we thoroughly recommend it .

We had an amazing stay! It’s the perfect place for dogs to run free and have fun, and the horses were beautiful and well cared for. The host was incredibly responsive and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway !

Absolutely loved our stay and cant thank Anthony enough for allowing us to stay. Lovley peaceful location with some fantastic coastal walks on your doorstep. The house is beautiful and has everything you need and real find. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning

My second stay at David’s place and the standard was just as good as the first. Very clean, well equipped and a great location for getting around Anglesey. David responded quickly to any queries I had and is a very friendly host. Great to see him at checkout. Lovely gluten free chippy and creperie in Amlwch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bungalow was just as described. The view from the garden is lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside when the sun came out. The proximity to the Anglesey Coastal path was great. We walked down to the sea to watch the sunset and it was very picturesque. We also walked along to Almwch Harbour, where my boyfriend actually popped the question - so we’ll always have fond memories of this holiday!

Lovely stay in Anglesey. Quiet estate and beautiful bungalow with nearby drive to stunning coastline beaches and scenery. Enjoyed our stay very much. The power shower provided some entertainment for my sister! And our little dog was well catered for. Lovely touches with bread, croissants and Prosecco on arrival. Thank you so much Jackie 🙏xxx
