Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Menai Strait

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful farm. We had a very friendly and warm welcome from the owners and dogs. Our children loved the animals and loved Nell the dog 😀 The cottage was cosy and comfortable in a peacful location but not too far to drive to nearby ammenities.

Jessica’s place is amazing. Highly recommend! The views are amazing, and it’s the perfect location for Snowden and town. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay with mates.

Great place to stay. Good location close to everything and the house itself was well equipped and felt spacious even though there was 8 of us staying. Would not hesitate to rebook if back in the area

We stayed at Lynne's for two nights for the Zipworld experience. Perfectly situated for that. The cottage is quaint, quirky and very homely. Watch the door frames if you're over 5'6"!! It's beautifully quiet but not too far from anything. Lynne was very informative and readily available for any questions. If you like rural, you will love this gorgeous place!!

Ty Nain is a great place to stay when visiting the North West corner of Wales and Anglesey. It's very straightforward to get to by road and is in easy reach of the mountains, beaches and sights. We found the house to be very comfortable, the decor was very pleasant, the kitchen well stocked and the whole house spotlessly clean. The bathroom looked absolutely pristine. The mattresses were comfy, we all got a good night's sleep. It was great to have a space to chill out in the conservatory as well as the living room. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating about us dropping off bags early and kept us well informed about every aspect of our stay. I'm sure we will be back to visit and we have no hesitation in recommending this welcoming airbnb with it's kind hosts, for a relaxing stay.

Fantastic property in great location and top host. Property is spacious and well provisioned , everything works and kitchen is stocked with basics like foil and paper towels etc we hosted 13 for dinner easily. Location wise it was perfect loads of amenities close by and the lake in llanberis is fantastic, the mountains with all they offer are a short drive or use the Sherpa bus park just 5 mins away. Would definitely stay again

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at Wendy’s place. Amazing views, beautiful and comfortable house extremely well equipped and designed. Lots to do exploring the area and beyond and always lovely to come back and enjoy the views particularly from the upstairs lounge. We’d love to come back again.

We had a marvellous stay , 3 generations , room for all , including easy access on the ground floor for very elderly dog ! Rachel & Amy very responsive to requests ,friendly & approachable.

A truly wonderful stay, from start to finish. We decided to make sure we return before even setting foot in the actual property, which says something! Everything was ideal, and we were blessed with exceptional weather. However, even without clear sunny skies we know we would have had as equally as good a time. Stay here if you're a big fan of quiet, calm and relaxing spaces. The big, big positives in no particular order: 1. The view 2. The hot tub 3. The swimming pool 4. The huge garden space 5. The clear and helpful hosts

We had a great stay from the get go with Sam checking in with us that we had arrived safely and that everything was as expected, which it was. The downstairs rooms were airy and light with plenty of comfy furniture; the kitchen, not that we used it much, was large clean and really well equipped. The bedrooms were excellent with quality bedding and as with the bathroom, spotlessly clean. The rear outside space is a good size with a table and bench seating and is safe and secure, our little dog was very happy out there. We didn't get to use the hot tub but it was very well maintained, clean and ready to go if we wanted it. Parking outside the property is straightforward and the house location is a very short step to the lovely promenade for a then leisurely 10 to 15 minute stroll to the shops, bars, restaurants and harbour. We definitely recommend Sam's place if you're looking to stay in Barmouth and we'll certainly stay there again when we return. Thanks Sam 👍

We had a great stay here. A lovely little lodge with everything needed to stay in and cook or bring food back. A helpful folder of recommendations was provided, and Tracey communicated with us very well. Everything was clean and tidy, and it was lovely to be able to use the hot tub while looking out onto the lake. Great location, only 5-minute drive into the town where there is shops, bars and takeaways. Nice and close to Snowdon and Zip World, which is why we were visiting. Nice personal touches, a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived, some chocolate and even some Welsh cakes which we tried for the first time. Definitely would stay again if we were in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at Carla’s place! The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. We had a great couple of nights at Jo's place. After being let down last minute by a previous booking we were incredibly relieved to find this booking and Jo was very helpful and quick to respond to our booking request. We received really clear instructions of how to find the lodge, check in was easy and the place was lovely and clean, with everything we needed provided for us. The location is lovely sat amongst the trees with the sound of the river in the background, very tranquil and relaxing. The site is also great, with a nice restaurant and bar. The outdoor pool looked great too for summer days. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for just one night while attending a local event, but the experience exceeded all our expectations. The place had everything we needed—spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The highlight was the stunning river view from the balcony—absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. I only wish we’d booked a longer stay. We’ll definitely be back!

My partner & I loved our stay here! Perfect for a long weekend by the sea discovering the area. First thing we did was pop across to the fish & chip shop! With the local cafe, pub, shops and seafront all within a 5-min walking distance the location was AMAZING! The cute apartment had everything we needed including a sea view & access to the gorgeous shared garden. All of the information provided in the flat on the area was fascinating, I would recommend reading about the Hindlea and then going to see the remnants of the wreck only a 10-min walk away. Massive thanks to Laura & Clair for hosting us, would 100% recommend!

Great location for exploring North Wales, easy to pop over to Anglesey or get to spectacular walking routes, loads to do in the area, very cosy and comfortable house for two people.

Beautiful airbnb in a perfect location, Iola was so helpful and has clearly kept the property in a wonderful condition with all the amenities you may need. We were delighted with our stay and would recommend to everyone. A perfect location for those planning on a a walk up Snowdon, especially on the Watkin Path.

We had a lovely few days at Mison’s place. A really comfortable, spotless cottage with a fantastic view over the sea. The deck area is super and perfect relaxing or watching the sunset. The cottage is absolutely beautiful! We loved the garden, the stream behind it, the bird feeder in front of the window (lots of pretty wild birds feeding, so lovely to watch), the welcome goodies basket, the peonies... lots of details that made us feel welcome. Nicky was easy to communicate with and super friendly. We highly recommend a stay here!

When we first arrived, we were welcomed to the property and given lots of tips about where is best to go, especially when trying to avoid the weather. Both hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The location was amazing. The views were beautiful and it was close to everything. Touring Anglesey was one of the highlights. We loved the hot tub and slept very well as the bed was so comfy. We had a really great stay and couldn’t have picked a more perfect location.

This is a really great place to stay. Nestled on a steep hillside with partial views of the lake and over to Mount Snowdon. It’s important to follow the location instructions - we used ‘what three words’ and had no issues. Inside the property is interesting, cosy and the log burner is a treat after a hard days walking. Steve and Jo are lovely friendly hosts, though never obtrusive. We will definitely book again.
