Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Melhus Municipality

There were 6 of us on Christmas holidays in the modern, high quality equipped house, from which you can look at beautiful valleys. You can hike to lakes, visit Trondheim, toboggan and also go to a ski resort. The locals are very friendly and open-minded.

I recommend staying in the house in Ide if you want to spend a fantastic time with incredible views and nature. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We're looking already forward returning!

Practical housing with room for the five of us. Easy to find and clean and tidy.

The panoramic view is really great! Nice is that there is a double shower in the bathroom and a separate scullery with the washing machine and dryer.

A very nice house with many great bedrooms. Henrik was very helpful both in finding the house and facilitating us to thrive – he even put in an extra bed in the basement living room. Check in and check out went smoothly and the house was very tidy. Definitely recommend renting with Henrik!

Where do I start? This place has a special charm that is shaped by the history and age of the accommodation. Nevertheless, it offers all the amenities for a comfortable stay from a well-equipped kitchen to efficient heating. Although the heaters are electric, they keep the rooms warm and cozy. The place is incredibly spacious, and the location is perfect for walks or skiing right outside the door. In addition, the host is exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but due to a misunderstanding we had to leave earlier than planned. We definitely hope to come back. As I mentioned at the beginning, it's an old place – but that's exactly what gives it a unique, almost magical atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at Trude's Airbnb! She was a super friendly and helpful hostess who was always there to help us every step of the way. The apartment was very clean and well equipped – we didn't miss anything. We were particularly impressed by the fantastic view from the living room over the old town of Trondheim and the fjord, which we were able to enjoy anew every day. The location of the accommodation was ideal for us as dog owners, as numerous green areas and hiking trails nearby invite you to take a walk. Overall a great experience. We can highly recommend Trude's place!

This place is a dream- absolutely beautiful surroundings and views looking out over the Trondheimfjord/ Monkholmen. The inside is very colorful, comfortable, and very cozy. The provided breakfast food was delicious to cook with and we had a blast hiking around the area. It’s a quick commute to Trondheim in our rental car but close enough for Ubers to be an option. 5/5!

Terje was a great host, was always available if we needed help, for example regarding public transport. The house is very nicely furnished, with everything you need. Our group felt very comfortable, there was even a sauna.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, comfortable and contemporary home! Multiple, spaces to gather, relax and even entertain indoors and outdoors! Only a 2-minute walk to the grocery store and a few blocks from downtown and access to the bus and train. Kristian was very responsive to our questions and needs. Denise

This house we could have really rented again. Brilliant location with short distance to the grocery store and to the center of Trondheim.
