Great house! The ping pong, pool table, and shuffleboard were a hit.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My family and I had the best time. Gorgeous and clean home with extra amenities and goodies in the kitchen. The fire pit outside is wonderful. Though it was a cold Memorial Day Weekend, we made the best of it enjoying the comfy home and watching a movie. Someone in the guest book talked about counting the bears in the house.. they got 151, we got 163! Between the adults it was a funny game to compete who could get the most! Thank you Greg and Denise for a wonderful stay!

We had to make an unexpected trip and were very fortunate to find this great place with only a one day notice. We had an issue with a room heater but Lisa responded to our message very quickly. The house was very clean and well stocked with linens and everything we could have wanted in the kitchen. We were there before the season so didn't take part in any of the lake activities, but it is a beautiful part of the country and was very convenient for visits to Oakland, Grantsville and other places where our family members live. We have stayed at several other Airbnb locations in the area and this is the best!

The house was beautiful and in a wonderful setting! We felt right at home as soon as we walked in! Having 3 suites was perfect for our family. It was a nice walk to the docks and being able to use the kayaks made it so convenient!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! The lake views from the house were absolutely beautiful, and the location was perfect – just a short walk to the lake. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made it so convenient for our group. The house was incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need – and even more! Nina, the owner, was proactive and responsive, providing clear instructions and ensuring we had a smooth stay. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

I had an outstanding stay at this Airbnb! This is my second stay and Diana’s home is exceptionally clean. It’s beautifully appointed with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Nestled in a peaceful natural setting near the river, it offered the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience. The large deck was a highlight—spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with grills, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of biking or exploring. The property is a short ride into town off the GAP bike path, which made it incredibly easy to get out and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Despite its quiet location, it’s just a short walk to a fantastic coffee shop (don’t miss the scones at the Tissue Farm !) and several excellent restaurants. This place truly offers the best of both worlds—tranquility and accessibility. I highly recommend it and would gladly return!

Jesse’s place is wonderful! Beyond clean and cozy, with comfortable furniture and bedding. Smelled great and quickly felt at home. Loved the decorations & was pleasantly surprised with the extra throw blankets and milk/sugar for my coffee. Would love to stay again

Had a delightful time at Tatunka Trail House. The location was beautiful and relaxing. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. It was easy to settle right in and feel at home. Had everything we needed and more. It was obvious much thought went into considering what travelers may need. Roger was a warm, considerate, and informative host. Rocket (the adorable cat who lives on the property) was a charmer and delight. Will gladly return to this location if I am in that part of the country overnight again. Note: For those with who may have mobility challenges, it may be helpful to know there are steps down to the apartment that are a little steep, and the tub is elevated which requires taking a big step into it. There are handrails to assist.
