Holiday rentals with a fire pit in McCreary County

The Abbott house was perfect for my husband and I and his parents. I needed to lay low with my MIL while the boys went to play. We felt right at home. It’s a peaceful and relaxing space. It’s perfect for older adults with mobility issues -easy access and open spaces. Our host, Janie, was very responsive and helpful. We look forward to next time!

Trevor was a wonderful host and his home was absolutely fantastic! He was always easy to reach, quick to respond, and was super nice and helpful. This property is perfect for a lake stay: 10 minutes to Burnside Island to launch a boat, a huge driveway with ample room for multiple cars and a boat, very friendly neighborhood, plenty to do inside if it’s rainy, and tons of outdoor space! We had a large group of ten adults for a lake weekend and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and have their own space and bedrooms. All of the beds were very comfortable. The gathering spaces both inside and outside were large enough for us to play pool, sit by a fire, eat dinner, or just relax together. This is an annual lake trip and we will definitely be looking to see if this is available next year to stay again! Thank you for being such a great host, Trevor!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. We loved being able to use the dock for our boat and fishing. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the boats go by. We Will definitely stay again.

Great house! We had a girls weekend here and had a blast. Loved the hot tub, close to Burnside and Conley Bottom. We really enjoyed the screened in back porch and were in the hot tub every night. Dave even let us have an early check-in! All instructions were clear! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this wonderful home for 4 nights. We had a total of 6. My husband myself our adult children and future daughter in law. Everyone had their own space which was nice. Everything you needed was there. Some great memories were made and looking forward to going back and making more. Shame they only allow 5 stars because it was definitely a 10. Having the pool table was awesome due to some of the weather. It gave us something to do while at the house besides watching TV.

It was a great place in a nice location with no one to bother us, check in was easy and flexible, and if we had any questions they got right back to us. The place was clean inside and out. Would recommend to anyone.

Our family felt right at home at Beth's place. It had everything that we needed for our weekend trip. And absolutely enjoyed the peaceful outdoor area.

Communication was undoubtedly the best you could get! Not only did she make the guests feel welcomed with cinnamon rolls as a warming gift, but she also arranged to have the place cleaned again for my son and his new wife to stay in for their after wedding night! This Airbnb was literally 2 minutes from the venue which was such a big help considering they had to run back and forth several times! We could not have been more pleased with the price, communication, location, and hospitality! If you are getting married at Oak Hill Gardens, you need to 100% stay here! Side note: This town suffered great loss the weekend before due to a tornado that destroyed a lot of their neighborhoods. Despite this tragedy, the owner made the weekend extra special and kept nerves calm and everyone at ease. We truly appreciated this and we send love and prayers to London 🫶🫶💯

I love this place! It was so charming and worth what we paid for. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. We brought a trailer for our kayaks and the parking was convenient and spacious. We will definitly be coming back!

The first accommodation we were given had major issues with the AC and no WiFi available, which was not at all Diana’s fault. In response to these issues Dakota was able to find us an alternative accommodation that exceeded all expectations. We had a great week!

Host was very responsive and easy to work with. This location is very convenient to Dale Hollow Lake via Sunset Marina and within a reasonable distance to Starpoint Marina. This is a quaint little fixed up Motel that satisfied my needs for a place to stay for bass tournaments. Beds were a little firm, but that was probably because the mattresses were so new. I enjoyed my stay and will book again the next time we are in town for a tournament!

The cabin was as advertised and then some! I don’t think I’ve ever had such a cozy stay at an air bnb. It even smelled like home. We spent a lot of time on the private back deck. Our son loved feeding the horses. 10/10 experience that left us wanting to book again!

We planned this trip months in advance. Unfortunately a couple days before our trip a tornado went through the area. She immediately contacted us when she learned the power was out. We decided to go to the house and see if it had been restored but the power was still out. Megan went above and beyond to help us and was able to provide us another place to stay. We had a wheelchair bound family member with us so we were not easy to accommodate. We were not at this original location long but it was clean and as described. I know it would have been a great place to stay.

My kids and I spent six amazing days together in Burnside. The house was lovely. The area was beautiful. The house was stocked with all the things. Jennifer was very responsive the few questions I had. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. It felt like home for 3 days. We swam at the pool enjoyed the hot tub, and walked down to the boat ramp and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The hosts were very attentive.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the cabin! The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful as well! Brandon went out of his way to ensure we were in the loop regarding potentially icy/weather and road conditions, and was very communicative and accommodating! We had a great experience and would definitely stay again!

The bnb was very clean and the location was beautiful! It is so secluded and relaxing. We loved hiking in the forest and of course we spent some time in Big South Fork. It was a much needed place to chill with our family! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is just a short drive from Conley Bottom, which made it super convenient for lake days. It’s tucked away in a peaceful setting—perfect for unwinding after a full day on the water. Our son absolutely loved the swing and the lofts—such fun touches for kids! There’s even a small Dollar General right nearby, which was super handy for grabbing last-minute snacks or supplies on our way to the lake. Great spot for families looking to relax and recharge. Would definitely stay again
