Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

Feed our two miniature horses. Carrots furnished ! Disinfecting was always part of our cleaning program and meets CDC Guidelines.

"Very Cute & Clean 640 sqft Country Cottage sitting on 1/2 acre of land that also includes a BONUS room with a desk and a elliptical. We tried to think of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, including a stocked kitchen with all that you might need to prepare a meal, a comfy queen size bed, and a walk-in closet containing plenty of room for your things. Bathroom has a hairdryer, plenty of towels, and starter toilet paper. We have WIFI and smart TV's.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at Dorothea’s lovely home. It was just as described and located in a quiet neighborhood. We loved that the room had its own private bathroom and it also came equipped with various amenities including pads which is something I’ve never seen at another Airbnb and was very considerate. She was very responsive and the check in went smoothly. I only saw her once we left and she’s a lovely lady. She also provided local recommendations such as White Rhino coffee house which was a lovely stop before heading back home.

The house was cute and quaint. We loved the downtown area and had multiple options for coffee, food, and fun within walking distance. The bookstore and antique shop were a blast. House was so spacious and a great layout. Our kids had room to move around. Overall a great place!

What an amazing space! We had our wedding here and also stayed two nights. Loved that we had flexibility with what vendors to hire and how to use the space. We were able to keep everything within our budget. Chandu was a great communicator throughout our stay. Highly recommend for brides on a budget! We kind of wish we’d booked a longer stay, too, to enjoy to property more, so be sure to consider that. Will definitely book again- already thinking about Christmas/Family reunion.

I stayed here with my wife to attend a wedding. Our first time in texas, from Michigan. We felt so comfortable and welcomed here. The place was perfect for us. I would highly recommend a stay here. Very beautiful outdoors, and a clean comfortable and cute inside.
