House holiday rentals in Mauritius Island

The place consists in a small bungalow in a big garden with a pool. Inside are the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom while outside are covered living and dining "rooms". The inside is very well-equipped. We have never seen such a small place so crammed with all sorts of useful equipment such as a Nespresso coffee maker (capsules provided) and a lot more, so the concept of the house is really good. The outside is also very cozy, perfect for breakfast, sipping a rhum after dinner or simply relaxing with a good book. You can park the car in the garden. A huge plus is that the beach is only a few minutes walking away and you get good snorkeling right out of the beach (beware of the currents). An outside shower is available in the garden as well as drying lines. The corresondence with Elodie and Laurent was very good and helpful. Altogether a great place. Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful place, calm, serene & peaceful. The villa is rustic with beautiful corners & paintings adorning its walls. It's is close by to everything including the airport. There is a detailed guidebook curated by the hosts. And there is a little corner for books.

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

Great place to stay, 100% Recommendation. Everything is as described and in good condition. We stayed with Infants and they also liked it and had fun with the toys, sandbox and pool. Perfect spot to explore the West and Southwest. Sophie and Valérie are very helpful and friendly in Communication. You ll not regret to stay here. Best wishes.

Even before arriving in Mauritius, Caroline was very available. We immediately felt his kindness, his gentleness to our children and his hospitality. A pleasure to have had the opportunity to discover his accommodation as well as his cooking skills since we were able to taste a local dish made by him. Everything is planned for a great stay. We would definitely recommend this place. A BIG thank you again!! We do not plan to return to Mauritius in the months/years that arrive however we keep the address precious, we never know!!

The place is perfect for a family stay. Spacious, quiet and close to nature. If we had to note a negative point, it is the fact that the house is far from the center, you must have a car to go shopping or go to the restaurant. We had a wonderful stay and can only highly recommend this Airbnb! Jessica gave us a warm welcome and even took the time to show us around the house, which made us feel at home right away. The house itself is absolutely beautiful very clean, well organized, and thoughtfully designed. The pool area was a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need for cooking during your stay. We especially appreciated the excellent cleaning service during our longer visit – everything was kept spotless and in perfect order. Tip for future guests: Definitely take the advice about renting a car seriously. You’ll absolutely need one to make the most of your stay and explore the area comfortably. Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice. He booked all our excursions, including the restaurant, taxi, and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly matches the description. I highly recommend it.

Ramesh and Do were perfect hosts. Exceptionally kind! The accommodation is very very clean, they have the desire to do a service so that we can have the best vacation possible. We had a wonderful time here. Julien’s communication was perfect, he couldn’t have been more helpful with information about the house and any questions we had whilst we were there. The beach by the house was lovely for walking and watching the sunset then we used the house as a base to visit the beaches further up the coast which were only about 25mins drive. Recommended 👍

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

Wow, our stay at Albion was nothing short of amazing! We truly felt at home. Alex and Marie-France were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless with beautiful finishes and had all the amenities we needed. They were super responsive to any questions we had about the area or the home. Highly recommend their place—and them as hosts!

The Place was amazing, it was clean and beautiful just like the pictures. We enjoyed our time there and liked the privacy we had there. Also our host Julie was great, she gave us recommendation for restaurants in the area,also she was very helpful and responsive for our check in and during our stay.

The small cottage of Jf and Kareen more than convinced us with its very own charm, a great layout and its optimal location. It was clean, neat and lovingly furnished. The hosts didn't promise too much, were themselves very friendly, courteous and always available for questions. Would recommend this place with a clear conscience at any time 😊

nice accommodation. the only downside the road dangerous enough to go out and the beach difficult to walk because no sidewalk to go to the beach of the bowl.

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

Jean Christophe, his family and Agnes were all warm, helpful and generous hosts. The house and location were even better than the photos and the kindness afforded by the nearby family and the housekeeping team was fabulous. I will miss looking up at Le Morne from the pool 💔 but we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home.

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely house. The location is superb, so is the garden.

We had a great 3 weeks in the house. Brand new, fully equipped with really everything you need to be comfortable with family and cook. Everything is really well thought out. Communication with Nazia was very smooth, well before the departure where we were able to ask her any questions. Isabelle on site was able to clean several times a week. Loved our stay. We stayed at Natasha's place in March-April 2025. The host was very friendly, the house was very convenient, cozy and beautiful. The house was very close to the ocean. It's a nice choice for large families like ours. We were so glad to stay there. Wonderful place, amazing host! We were delighted! Everything works just fine in the house, house is very functional. Maids came to clean the house almost every day and they also cooked super delicious breakfasts for us. Natasha is so kind and supportive! We fell in love with her. Natasha, if you are reading this- we will definitely come next year for 2 months:) Best place we stayed ever.

Friendly host, very helpful evennthough we book last minute for 1 day. Very cozy and private place. Worth it.
