Guest house holiday rentals in Maui County

Margit’s place was perfect for my daughter and I. She had everything we needed, extra towels, sheets, full kitchen for cooking, cleaning supplies, a separate laundry room, a cooler, beach chairs and beach toys; which my daughter loved. Her place was very peaceful and BEAUTIFUL and I definitely enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch every morning. You can tell she definitely goes above and beyond to provide a great experience for her guest. She was always very responsive. I didn’t know a tapping sound on the glass was due to geckos in the area, but she and her husband came over first thing in the morning to check in. I will come back here next time I’m back in Maui 🏝️🩵

I almost don’t want to share how beautiful this spot is!!! Now everyone will know! It was a perfect location, right down the street from the shops of Paia and Baldwin beach (our favorite). The lounge chairs have such amazing views. Already booking next year! Mahalo Valérie!

Charming place in upcountry Maui Everything is exactly as described Really enjoyed my stay here and loved some of the charming towns nearby Would so much rather stay here that in a touristy area! Local towns like Paia and Makawao have great restaurants and bars and even fun nightlife Alejandro is VERY responsive and thorough and friendly Would definitely stay here again

If you love simple quaint and quiet you will love this place! Unwind in Hanna..:the pace is slower in Hanna and this home is a little pice of jungle paradise! Steps away from beach walk with clift jumping a little beach and of course the ocean, lizards 🦎 and birds flowers 🌺 galore!! Stock up before you come to Hanna the places close early and can be expensive…the beaches are amazing and we will be back! Thank you for an amazing time Sybil! See you next time!

Has an awesome view with a relatively short walk to the beach. (We actually saw sea turtles there!!) The location was not far from wherever we wanted to go. The beds were comfy (a big plus for us after multiple back surgeries), as was the sectional sofa. Plenty of room for us to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked and having a washer/dryer available was extremely helpful. I may have missed this in the posting, but the first floor is a separate rentable area than the second floor. Luckily no one was in the first floor so we basically had the place to ourselves. We'd definitely stay again and had a wonderful time!!!

We literally felt like we were in a rainforest. The flowers, plants, and trees were all beautiful. A nice large deck with table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. We visited in late May and the house was warm without air conditioning but for me it was such a scenic and private place I didn’t mind. We were fortunate to spend three nights which allowed us time to take our time visiting area state and national parks

We had an amazing stay, so peaceful and such a beautiful cottage and island! Close by the town and our hosts are very friendly and helpful! Definitely will stay here again the next time we visit!

Audrey is a friendly and communicative host. She was always quick to respond and accommodate for me and my boyfriend's needs during our stay. Overall, I recommend staying at Audrey's place. One callout I have is that the parking spot for this cottage is not the most convenient, as it's located on top a slope through a narrow passageway.

great location, so much better than downtown, save 30 min if you do either road to Hana or sunrise. very clean since it is off the ground, and much less insects than other places we stayed (insects is unavoidable in tropical places)

Great space for 1-2 people to enjoy the beaches, nightlife and restaurants of Kihei. Walkable to wonderful spots for sunset and great food, quick drive to everything else. Well equipped kitchen (including stocked tropical fruit!), comfy beds and great rain shower. The large lanai and private location were amazing - wonderful places to watch stars, listen to birds, work and enjoy meals. Suggest confirming check in and check out times with Mia - may vary from listing on Airbnb. Would definitely return!

Lizbeth was such a wonderful host from the get go. Before the trip, she sent over a detailed list of local recommendations for us from places to see, eat, get coffee, etc. The property was beautiful and peaceful, and looked exactly like her photos. Although there is another Airbnb next door, we didn’t run into anyone at all, even while spending time in the lush garden outside. We also enjoyed her “brekkie baskets” with delicious little breads to get our mornings started. Lizbeth was very helpful and even checked into with us via message to see if there was anything else we needed during our stay. This was the perfect little quiet getaway in a wonderful quaint little vintage home. I think our favorite part was the original clawfoot tub and the huge island pine tree outside. We had plenty of fresh towels, coffee/tea, and made use of the water cooler and beach gear. I would definitely stay here again for a relaxing trip in Makawao 🥰

We enjoyed our stay and were very appreciative of the great communication/response times. At first we were a little skeptical about sharing the living room and kitchen, but it wasn’t an issue. I could see it being a problem if there were inconsiderate roommates. I appreciated the honesty and openness about the issues with the location including the noisy neighbors, roosters, and older home. Thank you to Ivana for responding at a moments notice when we wanted to use the beach chairs and towels. Our bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and we slept great every night. Overall, it was a great stay (especially if you consider the prices of other places just to sleep and shower). The location was central to the airport and activities we wanted to do, so that was a plus. If I could give one recommendation, it would be to have some updates done on the home as some areas were unfinished, stained (bathroom carpet), or out of date. Thank you for the stay and hospitality!

Alessio and Marcello We had such a wonderful stay at your Villa Paola. Thank you so much for your hospitality. As always your villa was beautiful and a great home away from home. This trip to your villa we took some extra time just hanging at the pool with family and relaxing on the floats. We really love the beautiful pool! The beach equipment y’all had came in handy for our beach days as well as the outdoor shower to wash off all the sand and there were plenty of towels. The front patio and grill were a perfect space for us to grill and spend some time relaxing. You both have been so accommodating and hospitable! Steph enjoyed the book about the two of you. You are both kind and always a pleasure to speak to. We were so sorry to hear the Lahina fires touched you both personally but you can be assured we will be back to stay and can’t wait to hear how you are doing. Thank you Christine for a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and we just loved it to spend their a couple of days. If you look for something around Kula, choose for this one. Youn won‘t regret.

i recently just stayed at this airbnb and it was absolutely the perfect place to stay at! everything about it was amazing. The bed was so comfy ( what i get most worried about at airbnbs lol), the kitchen is so cute and is perfect for 2 guest, air conditioning worked perfect, bathroom was great. The little backyard was my favorite to enjoy my dinner and breakfast outside! I personally love how it was just a good distance from everything, especially from ichiban Okazuya ( they have such delicious food!). Overall 10/10 stay, will plan to book with Eric again!

If you’re a couple looking for a lovely living space to yourselves with a beautiful view of the ocean to live more as a local than a typical resort-stayer, this is the place for you. Saki and Long are attentive, gracious hosts who helped us feel right at home. The guesthouse is very comfortable with abundant amenities for enjoying everything Maui has to offer. Waking up to the sun shining over the ocean, fresh breeze, and birds chirping every morning was so delightful. We feel rejuvenated. We can’t thank our hosts enough for an unforgettable experience.
