Charming apart by the beach- Porto

The place was fantastic, and we immediately felt at home. Everything was within walking distance, and the beach was not far away. There was a Lidl supermarket right across the street, and the bus and train station were perfectly located for a quick trip to Porto. All in all, we had a wonderful time in Matosinhos, and Gisela was an excellent host who responded quickly to any questions and provided great tips for a perfect stay.

This was our first experience of staying in an apartment with the owners living there. And it was so great that we made this decision. Rita and Tiago were not at home, so we were greeted by an incredibly friendly and sociable Isabel. In addition to the pleasant recommendations on eating in restaurants and sightseeing, we had a lot of topics to discuss over breakfast or after a long day spent outside the house. The guest room was very clean and spacious. I especially liked the bed and the large photo book about Porto. And both cats, Penny and Lane, were so friendly! The area is so quiet and beautiful. We especially liked the Parque da Cidade and the quiet streets next to the apartment. I really liked this approach to getting to know a new country and culture when we stay with the locals, and I would definitely like to return. Thank you very much!
