Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mason

I've stayed at a lot of places and I have to say that this has to be the most well equipped home ive ever stayed at. The home was comfortable and had snacks and drinks stocked for guests. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to stay in Mason.

We were perfectly located right between Enchanted Rock State Park and Fredericksburg, TX. After a long day hiking in the park, we were able to rest and relax before heading into town for dinner. It was great to be away from the hustle and bustle but still close to everything we wanted to do. It is a large, pet friendly space that allowed us to be comfortable with our dogs. The space was clean and everything was handy and easy to find. Terrie only asks that you follow a few simple rules and makes it very easy to do so. We brought what we needed for the dogs, but even so, she had extras and asked if we needed anything else. Terrie is such an awesome host! Usually, you don’t think about your host, but at The Bunker, Terrie is part of the experience. She was so kind and had snacks for us, baked cookies, and made us muffins! Very responsive and excited to meet us. If you’re considering a trip to the area, this is the place to stay! We will definitely be going back.

This was definitely a nice change of pace. I travel extensively for work and usually stay in hotels. It was so nice to come “home” after a long day of working. The two cats were the “welcoming committee” and were always excited to see me when I got back. I sat on the porch with them and watched the wildlife roam about. Early mornings I would feed the deer and it was neat to watch them come up and eat. The house itself was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the hosts had muffins waiting when I got there! They had everything that was needed and more. Just perfect!

This was a great place to stay for our family of 7 (could have easily accommodated 9). There was a lot of seating and spacious rooms and a kitchen. The location was about 15-20 min to town. Some small critters here and there but that’s to be expected given the location.

We loved our stay at La Casa Roja! The house was beautiful, had plenty of space and had everything we needed for our family of 6, especially in the kitchen. The views were gorgeous and a short walk or drive takes you right to the river on the property. We loved the riverside the porch swing and spending our evenings on the screened in porch. Would definitely stay here again!! Absolutely loved it.

A true Texas Hill Country gem! The Lazo House was the perfect escape for our group — peaceful, scenic, and thoughtfully designed. The cabins were cozy and spotless, and the common house made gathering so easy and fun. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the patio, listening to the river and birds, and ending our days under the stars. The river was easily accessible, there were a few seating areas in the shade that were nice for watching the younger crowd hang out in the water.

Great place to relax and fish. Close enough to James River/ Llano River to go and hangout in the rapids with a short drive or boat excursion. Hosts are accommodating. Just make sure to enable WiFi calling if you’re not wanting to completely get away from it all.

Jennifer was extremely accommodating and made the resort welcoming. Pickleball courts were a plus. Approximately 20 min away from downtown Fredericksburg.

I wanted to show my parents, who lived in a large city all their lives, how the Milky Way looks. The time was perfect, and I needed the best place to see a clear dark sky. That's when I found Billy's place. Initially, I thought that we could drive out a few miles, if the location is not dark enough. However, this cabin is located in a spot where we just needed to step out of the building. And a gorgeous starry dark sky was right in front. Billy and his team ensured that we did not miss home. All the amenities, including sufficient A/C (a must in Texas summer) were there. Instructions were clear. The appliances worked flawlessly. We loved our time in the cabin. We are honored to have Billy open his doors and share his house with us. We would love to return for more of their hospitality, dark skies, and solitude. We loved it.

My family of four loved our three night stay! We played ping pong, grilled, had a fire and spent the day at Inks Lake. We picked up pizza from Bella Serra and spent day 2 at the local river spot. Everything was great and we will be back!

This listing is perfect for large family gatherings. Spacious and well equipped, this spot has everything you’d need and is laid out well. We loved it

If you are looking for the most peaceful, beautiful, secluded home to just relax, enjoy the weather and find peace, then this is the place! We absolutely loved all the amenities and how we had so much space for our family of 10. Just a short drive to Fredericksburg or Llano for anything you might need with great shopping and restaurants, yet just far enough away and secluded for the most beautiful night sky! And the POOL! *chefs kiss* The whole family couldn’t have been happier that we stumbled across this listing and got to enjoy it. If we can make it work, we’ll try to be back next summer!

My wife, two kids, and I had a fantastic stay at this 3-bedroom, 1-bath Airbnb. The house was clean, cozy, and perfectly suited for our family. One of the highlights was definitely the view out the back window—we loved seeing the longhorn cows grazing, which was such a unique and fun experience for the kids! The check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth and hassle-free, making our trip that much more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and quiet, offering a great place to relax while still being close enough to everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for families or anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a bit of rustic charm.

Great views. Calm, quiet and peaceful. The barndo has a great layout and is perfect for small families. Really had no complaints and would love to stay here again when we are back in the area. Great location and place all around and much, much better than getting hotel rooms.

We had a great time at the river house. The property is so close to the river. Everything was clean and we were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here for a Hill Country getaway.

I was looking for a quiet, open space to do some personal growth and lots of writting. This ranch met all my needs. It was the perfect escape from everyday life. The property was beautifully surrounded wild flowers and gorgeous lush green pastures. It was a perfect fit for me.

Cheryl’s little barn home was lovely. Located just a few miles outside of Mason’s, check-in and check-out were easy. The house was nicely furnished and spaces were as advertised. Cheryl was easy to reach when I had a question. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect home away from home for our group to explore Luckenbach and Fredricksburg. Loved watching the deer from the porch
