A true Texas Hill Country gem! The Lazo House was the perfect escape for our group — peaceful, scenic, and thoughtfully designed. The cabins were cozy and spotless, and the common house made gathering so easy and fun. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the patio, listening to the river and birds, and ending our days under the stars. The river was easily accessible, there were a few seating areas in the shade that were nice for watching the younger crowd hang out in the water.

Amanda’s place is beautifully decorated, comfortable, has everything one needs with views and paths that lead to the Llano River. I went with 3 girlfriends and we decided to make it an annual trip we enjoyed our stay so much. Highly recommended!

My family of four loved our three night stay! We played ping pong, grilled, had a fire and spent the day at Inks Lake. We picked up pizza from Bella Serra and spent day 2 at the local river spot. Everything was great and we will be back!

Perfect place to get away. Natural beauty at its finest. Plan to get in and stay awhile, this place is truly out in nature. Comfortable, with everything you need for a great stay. This is the perfect place for family reunions. Swimming pool, rec. hall, BBQ pits... The house had strong AC, really comfortable beds, convenient towels, basic necessities and a well stocked kitchen. Every bedroom has its own bathroom making the stay much easier with a large group of 11. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Everything you’d expect from a West Texas ranch house! Very quiet with only the occasional pickup driving past the house, which is bordered by a couple of cattle guards that provide a “speed bump” effect and requires vehicles to slow down as they pass the house. Nicely furnished and a great big back yard for throwing a ball and enjoying those beautiful Texas night skies. We took advantage of the fire pit for evening gatherings and picked up fallen wood from around the property to burn. Ping pong and corn hole were also a hit with the kids. River is across the county road and we threw a couple fishing lines in the river with no luck except for a small perch. TV gets all the channels you’ll need and the house has internet, which runs quite slow but I understand that the host is on the list to get Starlink as soon as it’s available, which will be nice if needed to work from the house. Kitchen’s nicely appointed and the stocked spices, pots, pans and tools fulfilled our needs.

We visited Deborah's property with a crew of nine (four adults and five kids) while chasing the April 8 eclipse. It is quite remote and really lovely. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. The ice house was an excellent gathering space for meals and board games. All the lodging was comfortable. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We loved the location and enjoyed the spacious layout. Wish we had more time there to enjoy the outdoor space.

Such a wonderful place of retreat for a family. Its a beautiful Ranch outside of Llano and very quiet and to yourself.

This house is absolutely gorgeous. We loved staying here and want to live in it. We had a family wedding nearby and this house was perfect for our needs, but it’d be wonderful for entertaining too. I wish we had a longer stay to use that amazing kitchen and inviting fire pit. 11/10 would stay again Ps. Put on the record player, sit on the patio with the flickering fire like porch lights and relax in one of the rockers. The best end to our lovely evening.

Perfect location between Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock! Absolutely beautiful area. Enjoyed sitting outside watching and listening to all the wildlife. Home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed!

Do note this is a split level home. It looked like one story from the photos but it does have stairs down to the dining room and one of the bedrooms.

In all honesty I am not one of those people that just leave 5 stars to be nice, this 5 star review was absolutely deserved! Property was about 20 minutes from downtown but that was a plus because it gave us a chance to experience the wildlife. House is well laid out and very comfortable. Can easily handle 4 families. We had a fun guys weekend eating good food and taking it easy.

It was a cool spot, the place was clean and the amnesties were satisfactory and the Hot Tub was on point! If your looking to get away from it all you found the right place!

It was most peaceful with quiet surroundings. We could witness beautiful sunrise from the patio with the Enchanted Rock in the back drop. The home is very well kept and pristine. We had a very relaxing stay here. It’s also very close to Fredricksberg to visit this historic town.

A great location in Llano within walking distance of restaurants, the courthouse, Badu & Grenwelge parks, and the Llano brewery & distillery. Nestled in a neighborhood with large, mature shade trees and away from traffic noise.

We visited during the Llano annual international rock stacking competition! (L.E.A.F) Our second time to attend and first time to stay for the weekend. We loved interacting with the locals in the small Texas town and experience the feel of the culture. (We’re city Texans ourselves.) The festival had a definite “hippie” vibe which a local resident characterized as “hippie-redneck” kind of small town culture. Very friendly folks all around! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the property. Our host was very responsive to our needs. It was so nice being away from the noise of the city life. I loved listening to the birds in the mornings. My bird app recognized 11 different bird songs, three of which I’d not previously encountered! I definitely would enjoy repeating our stay. Highly recommend!
