Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mars Hill

I had a little trouble getting in with the keypad, but that is probably more about my lack of knowledge with keypad entries. 😂 The home was spotless when we arrived and we filled it with lots of laughter and fun! The back deck was amazing - even in a gentle rain. And, our last night there we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Mike and Cate were INCREDIBLY helpful and communicative. They answered every question within minutes and made us feel well taken care of. Departure was easy and they requested minimal prep for departure. They made staying at their home easy and comfortable. 👍

The A-frame Bella Vista has a Marvelous and stunning view, and precisely as owner, Alicia, describes as a ‘Million’ dollar view. This cute space is a must see, stay, and enjoy inside and out! I fully recommend a stay for more than a night or two. Easy to find, drive is steep, but manageable, beautiful deck, yard, great parking, and extremely close to town with wonderful shops, coffee, quaint restaurants, and easy driving to the main highway, gas, groceries, driving through and among the mountains, with many places to visit. Many local artisans. This special place offers a comfortable and peaceful place to rest, relax, and feel rejuvenated and blessed all at the same time. Alicia was extremely quick to help with texts and communication, even going out of the way to make sure everything was ready and willing to go the extra mile. The washer and dryer were extremely convenient, along with the all amenities. The deck is a special places for coffee, meals, reading and more.

We loved our stay. The hosts were super responsive, and went above and beyond. Finally, an airbnb that looks like the photos and is as described! Clean, bright, and comfortable. Plus, they totally understood my chemical sensitivities and made sure I was safe from artificial fragrances from laundry and cleaning products. We would definitely stay here again!

Catherine's home was cozy and had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. It was spacious and clean and had a large hot tub. Perfect place for a family get-together or small gathering. Thanks for having us!

If you like the listing, you will love staying at Karen's. It's clean, easy to use and comfortable. Easy coffee was a plus. The back deck is a delight. Quite a find!

Wow this place was amazing. Definitely going to be back! Honestly everything inside the house was SO WELL thought out. Instructions everywhere for everything. Mosquito netting - what a blessing in NC spring/summer. Claw foot tub?? Great way to start my day - a bubble bath surrounded by beautiful nature. "10 min to downtown" was SPOT ON. I visited a couple favourite spots and left my dog at the house uncrated without worrying about him getting too bored in the amount of time I'd be out (he is the bestest boy though, so ymmv) My dog loved the yard! He got a bit confused by the netting on the porch, and that was hilarious to watch. We were close enough to houses to feel like there would be help if anything happened, but the way it's situated, you feel like you're in your own private little world. It was stunning and felt very safe in this space 🖤

We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean, quiet, and exactly as pictured. The host was very responsive.

Lovely space!

We stayed at the Glenna for a mini honeymoon with two pups and loved it. It's in a secluded area with a few neighbors, which is exactly what we wanted. An short and easy drive to Asheville, but we found we enjoyed visiting the Arden/Fletcher area as well for food and hikes. The drive up to the cabin is beautiful with plenty of twisty curves as you would expect in the mountains, but a very enjoyable drive. (As of May 2025 the directions may mislead you due to a road closure, you'll go through it just a bit to turn in front of a very beautiful white church with a creek in front of it.) We spent most nights outside with a fire by the creek making smores or enjoying the quiet nature. Our dogs loved sniffing about everywhere they could find, especially our nightly walks around the property. We had a power outage and Larry was nice enough to stop by and drop some lights for us and Courtney left us some beautiful Asheville mugs. A wonderful cabin and area, we would definitely visit again!

This is my second time staying at this fantastic spot, and it was just as great as the first. They are wonderful hosts, the place is a real hidden gem, and the community has so much to offer. It certainly won't be my last time here!

Our mission team was in the area working with Hammer and Heart. We stayed at this house based on location, number it could sleep and the neighborhood. Checkin was extremely easy, house was easy to find. While there, the A/C broke. Nothing that anyone could foresee. Amanda was responsive by immediately hopping into action by sending fans to try to cool the house until the HVAC person could get there to fix. Amanda stayed on top of the problem until she knew the A/C was fixed. Thanks for the hospitality of sharing your house so we could help people in the area.

This was our second stay we have stayed on both sides of the Airbnb and we absolutely loved them both it was peaceful and relaxing just what we needed 😊

This stay showed us why we always prefer when the rental is owned by a person and not a big company, Trace was super responsive and easy to work with our entire stay. Location was fantastic and it was super easy to get to all the things in ashville we wanted to while still being in a home that was quiet and relaxing.

This place is very comfortable. I was looking for a relaxing and quiet retreat. This was it. Even though it is next to the hosts house they gave me my space. In fact I never even saw them. The tub is amazing and the kitchen is well appointed. Top score. IF you are thinking of staying here you should.

The Murphy Loft was the perfect weekend getaway spot for my family and dog to stay at while visiting family nearby. The Loft is spacious, clean, and comfortable. I hope we can make it back!

This place is a dream. So peaceful and serene, immersed in nature. Plenty of privacy yet accessible to Asheville and not too remote. I loved taking a bath outside in the beautiful tub, and the pour over coffee in the morning was great. The place feels modern without sacrificing the charm of a cabin in the woods. Thank you so much Christina for a beautiful stay and for being so accommodating and communicative. We can't wait to come back!

Raven’s Roost was the perfect getaway for our family! We first booked with intent to ski/snowboard, but the weather didn’t cooperate with that plan. We rebooted for family time in the cozy cabin with great space to be together for dinner and games, but also space for quiet alone time! My family loves table tennis 🏓, a big bonus for us. We loved everything about Raven’s Roost and hope to visit again when the snow comes back. Colin was great to work with; responsive, friendly, with local recommendations…which we took advantage of. Highly recommend for cozy cabin getaway!

I recommend Renata's place without hesitation. The listing is accurate and the house and property are a great place for a peaceful, scenic country get away. The house is comfortable and inviting with good quality appliances and amenities. Everything worked well. Renata is friendly and helpful and genuinely goes out of her way to provide a comfortable rental experience. I had a fantastic weekend staying at Sara's cabin. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and had amazing amenities. The surrounding area was incredibly peaceful, and the sauna & cold plunge were the cherry on top. On top of the property, Sara is a fantastic host. She provided very clear instructions and made us feel at home throughout our stay. I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, charming, and scenic getaway.

We had a wonderful Spring weekend watching our athlete play at Mars Hill University. This updated farmhouse between Mars Hill and Weaverville leveled up our visit. The king beds are super comfortable and the home has nice linens and excellent equipment in the kitchen. This home is designed with quality lamps, fans, blinds rugs, etc and it really gave a luxury feel compared to other nearby spots. We loved sitting on the front porch and watching the creek, birds and turkeys that walked by. Only saw 3 cars the whole time we were there, so it’s secluded and peaceful, but only a short drive to Ingles or south into Asheville to enjoy restaurants, activities or shopping. We took advantage of two hikes on the large property, one up to the top of the hill with beautiful views and a second to Spring Creek, flowing aquamarine water that we enjoyed skipping rocks and meandering alongside. Hosts were very responsive and helpful with early checkin and an item my daughter left behind. We will return!

Lovely home with serene natural surroundings on a farm! We enjoyed our stay and James was a very responsive and friendly host. Great for a getaway or exploring the local nature and culture!
