Possibility to borrow a boat. 25-30 minutes by car to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's world and Bullerbyn. 35 minutes to Eksjö wooden city, about 12 km to Mariannelund. (nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

Stay in our cozy guest house with own garden. Close to among other things Astrid Lindgren's world (20 km), Katthult and Bullerbyn. In Mariannelund there is also Filmbyn Småland, Karamellkokeriet, Ica, nice natural areas with lakes etc. The house consists of a large shared kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (a total of 7 beds + a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room), a toilet/shower and a laundry room. Note: You clean before check-out (if nothing else agreed) and bring your own towels and bed sheets.

Welcome to our little cottage, decorated in pink and white! The cottage is extended in 2022 with a new part and is now a total of 25 sqm and sleeps 1–2 people. It has a room with two beds, 2 x 80 cm, kitchen and bathroom. The cabin is located in our garden, about 20 meters behind our house, and behind it there is forest. The center of Gullring is within walking distance, where you will find a cafe, a restaurant, a swimming pool (closed in July), an outdoor swimming area, tennis courts and a golf course.

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully newly renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the dream cottage Emil's friend Alfred lived in but much more modern inside 😁 It's a big leafy lot that's shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forests. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.

The house is situated in a very calm environment right next to a small forest. It is spacious, has everything you need and is very close to all the touristic places related to Astrid Lindgren. It's nice to sit outside for meals. It was a great place to stay while we visited Astrid Lindgrens Värld and Katthult (filming location). Vanja was very friendly and made sure we can stay there, as we booked quite late and she had to find someone to clean the apartment after the guests before us. She made it work and we're grateful for that :)

Many thanks for a great two weeks in Asatorp. Arvid, you were a great host and we enjoyed the peace and solitude of the house. The outdoor shower was awesome. Thanks also for the delicious chanterelles, rhubarb and potatoes. Everything tasted wonderful and we were very pleased. :) Until next summer, Arvid, Bela, Janosch, Florian and Annika

This was a great spot! The house was really cozy and just right for us. It was nice that the city and Astrid Lindgren's World was only 5 minutes away. We will definitely come back to stay here next time we are in the area.

Nice way to feel Bullerbyn. After 7 in the evening, we were alone and could relax. Had a bbq, and our daughter played in the grass and fed the animals, which live there. Great to see and live at this place, which our daughter looked so much at when seeing the movie. ;-) thx a lot.

We (2 adults, 2 children - 4 and 8 years old) felt very comfortable! The house is super cozy and well equipped. Since we are not all that big, the ceiling height was rather cozy for us. 😉 The beautiful garden property and the rural surroundings delighted and relaxed us every day. Communication with Maria was quick and reliable. In case of problems with the washing machine, she was very accommodating to us and organized another washing location for us. Thanks again for that! Maria's excursion tips were great. We didn't move much away from Mariannelund and still did a lot. The city is also very nicely accessible by bike via the side road. Highly recommend!
