Cleanest caravan we have ever stayed in. Host was very quick to reply and always helpful. Great location, lots to do on site and around locally.

We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again. The space was clean, warm and very spacious up and downstairs. The design and decor was on another level. We couldn’t get over the beautiful chandelier. We were greeted with fruits and milk on arrival in the large kitchen. Ahead of our journey we were given clear directions to the property. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for the sauna, pool etc. We used the sauna daily. It’s was huge and looked brand new. We were be able to watch the kids swim in the pool from the sauna. The kids absolutely loved the pool and took every opportunity day and night to swim. It really was a bonus to have our own pool. 5 of us stayed for a week and there was enough space in the fridge and freezer for all of our food. I have already recommended the space to my friends.

Violet was very helpful from the moment we booked. The accommodation was lovely & everything we wanted, very clean & everything we needed for a lovely stay. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

We were very impressed on arrival. Lovely peaceful grounds, pool bigger than we’d expected and great games area. Good place to stay with our extended family, good central location, really enjoyed nearby Canterbury. We were lucky with the weather. We visited Howletts zoo & 2 different sea-sides. The house is quite warm, it’s great fans are provided in all bedrooms. Improvements- Need better extraction for the kitchen- & update the book on what to do if the smoke alarm goes off! The agency were quick to help but with poor phone signal this was tricky to arrange. Bigger beds/ new mattresses Downstairs loo had no toilet lid Other reviews mentioned cobwebs & the place seeming a bit ‘tired’, I’d agree with some of that but it didn’t stop us having a wonderful time & a few cobwebs don’t bother me, everything else was clean and we’d love to return .

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

This is a lovely, spacious house in a great location. The bedrooms are all really large, so room to spread out a bit, and there are two big rooms downstairs in addition to the kitchen. The house was well-equipped, with lots of nice touches like games and puzzles. The house overlooks the sea and there are lovely sunset views. There is a lovely sandy beach less than a minute away, and the town centre is a pleasant 20 minute walk along the promenade. Perfect!

The lodge was ideally located for our visit, it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The beach and eateries are about 10 minute walk. We went to Broadstairs and Ramsgate, which are close by, both very nice, although we did prefer Broadstairs. Our host Ryan and Ramona were very accommodating and attentive, excellent hosts.

Fantastic location and lovely property, steep spiral staircase so don’t book if mobility issues. Close to shops and beach.

Lovely place - very clean, tidy and homely, and all just a short walk from the old town and seafront. Would definitely book again if back in the area.

Thank you Ben for a lovely stay, we loved Margate and had a great time. The rooms were bright and sunny, beds were so comfortable and daily saunas very welcome. The bedrooms are beautifully presented this no shared walls so late sleepers are undisturbed by early risers in the bathroom and kitchen The house is in a peaceful area, while only being a breif walk from the sea front, old town and supermarket. We really likes the prints and pictures throughout the house which were clearly chosen with care. We had been unsure if we'd make use of the sauna, however it was a great luxury, pristinely presented and the outdoor seating was a great favourite for morning coffee

A fantastic stay! The holiday home was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed and more. Thoughtfully stocked, spotless, and super comfortable. Great for families with small children- so many toys! Highly recommended

We had the best time staying at Ben’s place. We’ve visited Margate many times and this place just topped off a great NYE visit. The place was even better than the photos and we felt at home immediately. The art and decor was stunning, beautiful design whilst also feeling cosy. Would love to visit again in the future. Thank you so much for such a great break!

my daughter, grandaughter and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and clean. Although very close to beaches, bars and restaurants, it was still very peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our second visit to Margate and we loved staying in this property! Right behind the Shell Grotto and tucked onto a private road that's nice and quiet, with a lovely back garden. It's a 15 minute walk into Old Town and a short walk to a fabulous cafe (Oast!). Wendy was incredibly responsive and kind, offering a list of kid friendly things to do, and was flexible with our check in and out times/process which was crucial for the kids! We would definitely stay here again.

This is without doubt the most stunning place I have ever stayed in through Airbnb. The cottage has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard and every detail is perfect and has been carefully thought through. It is comfortable and luxurious but still homely and stocked with everything you need for a home from home stay! It is also in a fantastic location - only a 2 minute walk to the seafront and the town centre. I could not recommend it more highly. Belinda was also extremely helpful and welcoming and very responsive to messages. 11/10! We will definitely be back! thank you Belinda and Thierry.

great little place. We stayed with 2 young kids and it worked well (note there are some steep steps to navigate), we all had a great time.

Brilliant stay, such a perfect location!

This is our 3rd visit to this remarkable Air B&b - honestly the best one we have ever stayed at. The hosts pay attention to detail so that you are completely comfortable in the property. It is literally like home to home. I’m not going to list all the facilities etc within the house - but you will be delighted when you arrive A step away from the beach with easy walking access to Margate and its many attractions, a mini Tesco , fish and chip shop, cafes and much more 5 mins round the corner - the property is very quiet and peaceful. Quite frankly if you dont book it’s your loss - we will be back for sure!

The House was perfect for a relaxing weekend of family time. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with all the equipment we needed for a large family that enjoys cooking, eating, and drinking well. We felt right at home and had a very special, relaxing and fun few days.

The most wonderful place to stay! Whitstable is the most wonderful place for a trip or holiday and the house is deservedly iconic. Perfectly situated directly on the beach, spacious with beautiful wrap around gardens, it was the most wonderful holiday spot. Katrina and Rupert were wonderful hosts, friendly, accommodating and informative. The house has everything you could want for the perfect, comfortable stay for a family or group. We cannot wait to return already!
