Apartment holiday rentals in Margate Beach

Great stay and perfect location for visiting Margate. Towels and bedding were clean and fresh and the apartment was very clean and tidy. As per previous guest reviews, there’s an issue with the water temperature when using the shower but we found a workaround that balanced the temperature out (Hint - use the shower attachment connected to the bath taps and put that in the shower holder, it just about fits. You can control the temperature much better). I had to give Arnold a low mark for communication because I literally never heard from him the entire time leading up to the booking and right through to checkout. Although clear and concise, the only information we had was what was on the booking app. This was enough for us to check in and enjoy our stay but an acknowledgment of messages would have been nice (I hope the lack of response didn’t indicate that he was ill). A lovely, short break in a good location.

Claires house was beautiful, clearly someone who knows how to make a house feel like a home, but also have the luxury feeling of a hotel. Super clean and comfy. Claire was super responsive and helped us with all our questions. Small suggestion: a bigger bathroom rug to soak up any water from the shower and a small desk or chest of draws in the bedroom to unpack your suitcase into. Everything else was loveleyy and we will be coming again🩷

My stay at the Artist’s retreat was absolutely phenomenal! Caroline was a friendly, responsive and knowledgeable host and the apartment was situated perfectly to explore Margate. I can’t wait to come back!

The accommondation was far greater than our expectations. We considered the bedrooms to be even more aesthetically pleasing than what was advertised which was good in its own right. Had all household amenities that made you feel as if you were right at home. All spaces were clean and a folder was provided with “Things to do and see” which was a thoughtful touch. Location wise, it overlooked the sea and is in walking distance of key spaces such as the beach, train station and local shops. We would recommend too any and everyone looking to spend time in Margate for the beach, annual festivals like Recessland or just time away in the area.

A well equipped small apartment with all the space available used to the best advantage. All you could wish for.

Marie's home was delightful. Easy self check in with clear instructions. We've been coming to Margate for a few years now and the location is ideal for our fave spots. The gardens opposite were very handy for our pup, who came with us. Marie kindly recommended a few places, so it was nice to discover some new finds. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Nicole’s space offers gorgeous views of the water and the city, and has everything to make your stay comfortable. I would recommend, beware of the 5 flights of narrow stairs, but it makes the view worth it.

The apartment is beautifully presented and so clean - we felt really comfortable straight away. The location is fantastic and perfect for a stay with a dog as the beach is just a few steps away. Would highly recommend this property for a chilled out break

Can thoughrely recommend Jenny's place, both Jenny and Tim are very friendly. Patio overlooking the sea and sea views from the bedroom, very generous welcome pack and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more, the lounge was spacious with comfy couches and the bedroom had plenty of clothes hangers and the bed was super comfy, including the pillows,. Every where was super clean, we didn't really want to leave, but,of course, it was time to move on., can thoughrely recommend Jenny' and Tim's place.

Very well located, close to the old town and lots of restaurants and bars close by. Lovely top floor flat, which was clean and bright. Well equipped kitchen with all that one needs to make meals or snacks. Flat had tea, coffee and other necessities to cook (oils, salt, pepper etc). We didn’t cook, but could easily see there was enough equipment and basics to be able to. There’s a great washing machine and detergents too. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay. Really comfortable bed with good duvet and pillows. TV had many channels and Wi-Fi was easy to use. Shower was very good and powerful and there was body, hand wash and conditioner. Lovely towels and we enjoyed our two nights. Highly recommend this place as it was comfortable, clean and central.

A fantastic little place to stay!! Catherine's flat was in an absolutely perfect location - literally 2 mins to the beach (and two nearby beach-side restaurants), so perfect for morning dog walks and lots of trekking up and down the Kent coast. So easy to get to from the station, and we enjoyed trying a few places in Westgate on Sea and then being able to walk, train and bus to Margate, Broadstairs and beyond. So nice to actually stay in someone's home these days - Catherine's flat had such a fun vibe and we really enjoyed the space and how it was decorated, and had some great movie nights in on the projector after long days out. Really quiet and peaceful area too, despite the beach being so close. We absolutely loved our time in Westgate-on-Sea and would 100% stay at Catherine's again for our next beach holiday!

My friends and I had a great stay! The place had everything we needed, the beds were really comfortable, and the hot tub was a perfect touch that made our trip even more special. The host was friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a great time at Mohammed house! He was very communicative, and left for me very clear instructions! Also he was very flexible with the check in! I will definitely book this room if I have to comeback to Broadstairs!

The apartment is spotless, cozy, and located in Birchington-on-Sea just a short walk from the sea. Inside, everything feels welcoming and well-prepared — from the comfortable bed with a quality mattress to the clean and practical kitchen and bathroom. It’s a peaceful space that has everything you need for a pleasant stay, including a little garden where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air. The host was absolutely wonderful — very, very polite, helpful, and always quick to respond. She made everything easy and even allowed early check-in and late check-out, which I really appreciated. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to return.

Chloe was a fabulous host, had left milk, wine and tea/ coffee for us to use! There was a great map showcasing the walking nearby and the flat itself was great 😊

Fantastic apartment, with secure parking, literally on the beach front. Amazing views over the Channel. Easy walking distance to town and the harbour. We had an issue with not recieving the check in information via the website, but the owner was able to respond quickly and provide us with the necessary information when contacted by telephone to remedy the situation. Similarly, very quick response and resolution when we found the saucepans had stopped completing the induction loop on the kitchen hob. Excellent host, great apartment - we had a wonderful holiday!
