Fabulous villa with masses of space and well equipped kitchen . Photos on Airbnb don’t do it justice as the villa spaces are far bigger than you’d imagine and the air conditioning worked well . The villa is private , clean , spacious and the team from medina palms looked after us extremely well . Every day we had a lovely house team who cleaned and then also came in the afternoon to do the turn down for the night . We went snorkelling one day and also enjoyed near by restaurants and the markets for shopping . Plenty of tuk tuks whenever you needed one . Thank you for a wonderful stay

We spent 2 amazing nights at Giulia’s House. Marica and Justin were so nice, helpful and friendly. They helped us a lot in many ways. Lovely villa indeed with cozy rooms, clean and large bathrooms and beautiful swimming pool & terraces. Highly recommend!

Chini Juu is a wonderful oasis in Watamu. Set tucked away about 15 min from the busy town centre, but within easy reach by tuk tuk or boda boda. Lucy and Denzel, the 2 staff on compound, are very helpful and around if you need. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, beach/swim towels at hand.

We had an amazing stay. The villa is spacious, and especially the outdoor pool area is perfect for relaxing. The furniture in the villa is a bit old and worn out, but it's not too big of a problem. The caretaker, Franklin, is very friendly and helpful with everything. The villa is located close to restaurants. I can highly recommend staying here for a relaxing vacation or getaway.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Elena House. Kevin was super helpful, easy to contact and very quick in his responses. He also had plenty of very helpful tips about the area, things to do, contacts etc. The house and the pool were wonderful. Perfect for a big group and ac in every bedroom. The staff were extremely friendly and assisted us with everything we needed. The beach is just a short walk away and there are lovely restaurants a TukTuk trip down the road. We also recommend a boat tour to the beautiful sand islands. Highly recommended place!

Amazing place to relax and feel on holiday. Great restaurants in the area and the own private pool is the place to be. Alex and Pendo are the icing on the cake, great people, always welcoming and supportive and great people.

Debra’s place was exactly as depicted in the photos, and the accurate maps made arrival hassle-free. The space itself is lovely, featuring a kitchen equipped with everything you might need. Jasmine, who manages the property daily, was absolutely charming. The shared swimming pool is stunning and conveniently located just steps from the house. Generally felt secure even walking back to the residence in the night. The beach, easily accessible via Marine Park Road, is just a short walk away. One minor note: While the pool’s easy accessibility was a plus, it posed a slight challenge with my 2-year-old daughter—temporary safety barriers could enhance the experience for families with young children. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and I’d highly recommend Debra’s place as the go-to choice for anyone visiting Malindi.

Absolutely incredible villa, everything went above and beyond what we could have wanted. Fantastic location with incredible views of the beach and the sunset from the roof. Everything is spacious, clean and we felt very at home and in our own private oasis. Joseph, Dixon, Moses, Robert and the team were such a delight and always on hand whenever we needed and we were so grateful for everything they did to enhance our experience. Thank you Antonio and Yasmine for a lovely stay in Watamu. The staff in both villas made us feel completely at home. Chef Evans continued to impress us with his delicious meals, Maggie, Andrew and the staff in the 2nd Villa were all amazing. We would recommend AC units in the main villa as the rooms would get hot at night. The other villa has nice cool rooms because they had ACs in each room. Overall, a fantastic stay - great food, great location, great rooms and great fun in the swimming pools - day and night. Thank you for your hospitality.

We felt welcomed as a family, the staff was attentive, clean and kind. Excellent cook, to the point that we always preferred to eat at home! Serena, she guided and recommended us and never abandoned; courteous, helpful, professional but above all very quick to respond to requests and questions. This villa is the epitome of serenity. My friends and I had an incredible stay here. All amenities and restaurants are easily accessible if you prefer dining out, but the in-house services were truly exceptional. The staff, chef, and masseuse provided some of the best experiences in the area. Having in-house laundry services was a major convenience. If you're seeking a quiet and peaceful place to unwind, this is it. Kudos to the host for their quick responses, which made the check-in and check-out process seamless.

We had a wonderful stay at Ibambe Villa, one of the nicest properties on the Kenyan coast. We were with two families and 4 children. Kids friendly pool, with easy and direct access to the best stretch of beach in Watamu. The house is beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated, with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Elias and the team were very helpful. Food was amazing. Would wholeheartedly recommend Ibambe to anyone!

A wonderful getaway with friends. The villa is beautifully appointed, spacious, and a great place to be away from the bustle of the big city, and even the small. It's close enough to arrange a tuk-tuk to get groceries or to a restaurant, but far enough away that you feel like it's an oasis. Friendly and accomodating staff, and Biliana's a very responsive host. Exactly what we were all looking for over the course of a long weekend, and an impressive find. Cheers!

We had a great stay at Micio House. Michela and Rooney are great hosts and very friendly and so are the staff. The compound is a little oasis with a beautiful terrace, pool and garden with lots of trees and bushes. I highly recommend staying here if you're coming to watamu as a small group or couple.

The place is excellent for large families / groups. We were 10 in number, and very comfortable, had so much fun. The pool is awesome, very clean. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. The place is private, far from the hustle and bustle of the city so please remember to plan your shopping well, the shops are a bit of a distance away. I recommend the place particularly if you want to chill out in seclusion away from hustle and bustle of the city

My family and I had a great time at Rufus' house in Malindi. It was neat and tidy everywhere, we constantly got good service if we needed help. All in all, 100% worth the money!

We stayed with 6 people at the house. The house is at a stunning location, close to the beach (but luckily not next to the beach, would have been so loud). It is 1 of 5 houses on the large compound. It is surrounded everywhere by beautiful plants and trees. The house itself is very large and has enough space for all of us. We never sat inside, always outside, enjoying the breeze. There is a huge swimming pool available at 100m from the house and it is probably the most enjoyable thing of this place ( cause it's hot every day). Although the houses and surroundings are old glory (houses could use some proper renovation inside), we had Makini (cleaning lady) and Sheena (chef) who made our stay comfortable. Her food was excellent (like a private restaurant). Our kids liked them very much. Watamu beach is stunning, especially at low tide. Make sure you have shoes when going in the water. Locals will try to sell you things, be aware. Mohamed was a great host, very helpful in any situation.
