Kevin’s place was so great we decided to go back again for another few days, towards the end of our trip. Everything was impeccable, and Kevin was very attentive and flexible, allowing us to have a late check out which suite our travel needs perfectly. Rose cooked a few times for us this time and her food is fabulous, we highly recommend her services, plus she was very friendly, patient and very accommodating. Another great stay at Kevin’s place, it’s home away from home. Kevin a great bloke, friendly, chatty, helpful and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully one day we get to meet Kevin in person for a beer. Thank you, Julz and Mina ☺️.

We were there as a group of 11 people (family and friends)to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had an amazing time. We felt we were in paradise. Amazing staff from chef Omar, Hemedi, and Abel our pool/security guy 🤣🤣. We were met with smiles every morning. Chef Omar didnt mind us invading his kitchen and cooking with him. The house is beautiful and the pool was the cherry on the cake. The beach is really 5 mins on foot. All you need can be done by hoping on a tuktuk or motorbike (that can be taken right outside the villa) and they will take you anywhere. Joris was amazing always available and ready to answer all our questions and take care of our requests. Thank you again for the wonderful memories. Hakuna matata

Our stay just couldn’t be better! Nina’s place is a little paradise, the house is very spacious and clean, with a lot of areas to hang and relax. The pool was definitely a highlight for me, it was so nice to start the day with the swim and also to read a book floating on a mattress. The house is located a short walk to island’s most beautiful beach Shela and also just 5 min from the harbor. But all this would not be the same without chef’s Daniel fresh and local cooking. He treated us with fresh seafood dishes every day and his cooking was way better than any of the restaurants on the island. Already planning my return and can get boy recommend this place to anybody traveling to Lamu.

Absolute rustic beach-front paradise and such a lovely team of staff! Ocean views are stunning and tennis court is a lot of fun. Jacquie is amazingly responsive and so helpful. Thank you so much!

The chef Daniel , the caretaker Josphat and the rest of the team did a great job taking care of us . The food was perfect every day every meal . Thank you Daniel. Josphat showed around the beach and mombasa town . Great people.

The house was cozy and very private in an idyllic location steps from the beach. The staff, Elizabeth and Duca are wonderful and made our stay so comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic location for a peaceful getaway location. The beach has barely anyone and we had a great time enjoying the beach The garden, pool was spacious and huge. Children loved the space. We enjoyed the food prepared by the chef please note this is a separate cost/arrangement. Omari also organised our transfer from the airport and back. It was an approximate 2hrs drive from Mombasa international airport. I would highly recommend this location. The staff were very welcoming and so was the environment.

I have to say that from start to finish the help and consideration taken by Jasmin was outstanding. The actual location look and feel of the Air BnB was something to be hold and we didn't realize that it was across two houses with pool in between. The staff of the house also need mentioning as their service, attitude and attentiveness towards their clients was outs standing. What a fantastic time we had at this location and would travel back again and again.

Enjoyed our stay The villa is as described in the photos and in fact better in real life due to lovely touches in the villa. The villa is new with all furnishings , utensils , cutlery of a very high standard . So much so that we tried to buy their rugs and blankets. The outdoor area is well equipped with sun beds, sofa, dinner table fans and the pool is good size ! All aircon and fans work very well which is a must in Diani. Air con in all rooms and in living area. We hired their chef - Siiraj who was very skilled and could make range of meals and was able to make chocolate cake for a birthday in our group. Was able to meet all our requests. The chef was also able to arrange fresh fish to be delivered to the villa. Not beachfront but beach is only a 2 mins away so easily accessible. Beds are comfortable and all 3 bedrooms of very good size. All staff on site - helpful and gets cleaned everyday. P.s. they provide filtered water too which was handy.

Absolutely beautiful! Location is perfect. The house is stunning, with plenty of space for large groups, a lovely pool and breathtaking view. The staff were amazing and took great care of us. An unforgettable holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at Ibambe Villa, one of the nicest properties on the Kenyan coast. We were with two families and 4 children. Kids friendly pool, with easy and direct access to the best stretch of beach in Watamu. The house is beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated, with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Elias and the team were very helpful. Food was amazing. Would wholeheartedly recommend Ibambe to anyone!

It’s hard to imagine, but these photos can’t do this property justice. It is truly beachfront, and is absolutely romantic and beautiful. If you have an issue with wildlife, especially pesky monkeys, or you aren’t comfortable in an outdoor environment, or you don’t want to have to walk down a path through the jungle to get to your romantic hideaway, nestled in the jungle and looking out over a pristine, white sand beach, then perhaps this is not for you, but for us…? It was absolutely magical. Nicole is an amazing host, and everyone who works there is kind and caring. The service was excellent —and do not miss the breakfast. This property far exceeded our expectations, and truly lived up to everything we had hoped for.

Beautiful house with everything you need! Mc Donald and his team provided delicious meals tailored to size. We loved the first day . Lovely swimming pool and relaxing opportunities. And everything was perfectly fine! Recommended. !

Come for the views, stay for the food! What a beautiful spot with tons of space to spread out. The house and grounds were gorgeous, located on a pristine beach, yet relatively private. The staff were all super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Pool was refreshing, yet surprisingly deep. Chef Nixon made us amazing seafood dishes all week. Only draw back was the lack of A/C in the bedrooms, which most comparably priced stays offer in the area. Check out the kite surfing, SUP, and kayaking rentals right next store. During low tide, head straight out half a mile to the sandbar and enjoy hunting for starfish!

We stayed in Diani over New Years Eve (5 days) and it was fantastic. Joris is a great host, always helpful, replies very quickly and has lots of helpful recommendations for logistics (organized and pick-up from Mombasa airport) and Diani itself! The house was great as well, we were a group of nine adults and it was comfortable enough that everyone had their own space. The staff (chef, maid and house manager) are all extremely kind and considerate. We had a few food allergies in our group and the chef made sure to cook according to our needs. I can really recommend to ask him to cook local food, as it allows you to dive into Kenian cuisine. Overall we had a great stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you very much to the host and staff!

We LOVED our stay at Tristan's beautifully newly refurbished house. The decor is gorgeous & creative, the staff were brilliant, and there were lots of board games, books and some toys which the kids enjoyed! Although, as to be expected in Lamu there were lots of stairs - house the layout worked well for kids and the highlight of our kids holiday was spending multiple hours in the stylish swimming pool on the upper floor. Chef John cooked us some seriously delicious meals, chosen from Tristan's clear menu. The highlight was lobster on our final night - and he also accommodated the kids needs, packing little evening meals to take with us on the dhow. Peter the house manager is a lovely man who has worked in Lamu for decades. He made sure things ran smoothly for us, together with the hardworking Sammy. We also really appreciated the night guard even though we felt extremely safe. You can't have a bad time at Wimbi house. Go ahead and book!

Tina's place was an amazing setting for a family Christmas. It has easy access to Ol Pejeta, the KWS animal conservancy, hiking trails near Mt. Kenya, and Nanyuki town. Chef John and his assistant Mary are fantastic. The house manager Noel is incredibly helpful and supportive. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Very good central location to move around Nairobi. Easy airport access and a peaceful haven in the middle of a bustling park of town. Really enjoyed the property

We were a family of 5; 2 adults and 3 kids aged 14 year old, 5 year old and a 2 year old. Charlottes place was amazing. We loved everything! The staff at the house make sure you are comfortable. They cleaned everyday and we had clean towels daily. The guard Suleiman, is great to book excursions if you need, a very friendly man. We hired a chef called Katana, whom Charlotte recommended. His food was fantastic, delicious and nutritious. Just let him know your preference like swahili dishes, or other dishes and he will make it. We had him make Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Polly the manager, is at the site and she can help you if you have questions, she is very responsive and friendly. I recommend this place for families with small kids and teenagers. The pool is another gem in this house. Thank you Charlotte, we miss your house already ❤️

We spent 4 days at taqwa house and it s was amazing, Elijah the chef is an amazing chef, Peter the manager was very available. Only issue is that the house is a bit far (10min walking) from Sheila and the instructions are not very clear. We will come back

This place was outstanding! Beautiful setting, beautiful house with guest houses for our large group. The staff at the house really made it so special for us. Shadrack cooked us amazing meals (we didn’t need to go out for meals!) and catered for dietary requirements. Hassan also made us feel so welcome and the place was kept very clean. We had a very relaxing time and would happily return.

We had a wonderful stay here! Giada, Ibrahim, Adam, and Fatima were excellent hosts. The villa is well maintained and furnished with AC and water heaters in each room. The saltwater pool is spacious and perfect for cooling down after some time at the beach, which is just a 5-10 minute walk. Our hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and helped to arrange transportation and activities. The only difficulty we had was that the address listed brought us to the wrong location on the Uber app. The map location with the geographic coordinates is correct, though!

It is amazing! And the house is very nice. And the woman who makes the food can cook like crazy! Highly recommendable
