The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

To be honest when searching for a place on Airbnb Paula’s home kept coming up, and out of all the properties I looked at this one was ‘calling me’. I went there with my wife and two kids (17 and 10 yrs old). Being there was like winning the lottery. We all felt at home away from home and were blown away by the amazing view seen from the garden and inside the living room (incredible!). Bed we’re super comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for cooking a Sunday roast. Power shower, perfect! We almost didn’t go anywhere because we was happy to stay in the house and chill in the garden with the view or in the living room (with the view 😁) playing the games provided, mainly the board game Frustration. Nottingham is beautiful and Paula’s home is a testament to it. If we return to Nottingham I hope your place will be available. Thanks again Paula

The showers (which is what you’ve actually came to read the reviews for) were top-notch—powerful, hot, and exactly what you need after a long day of exploring. Beyond that, the accommodation exceeded all expectations. It was even more spacious than the photos suggested, set within beautiful grounds that provided plenty of room to unwind. The location was ideal, with easy access to stunning walks and local attractions. Oliver was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating with all my messages. His attentiveness made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located getaway in the Peak District!

First about the Host - Lewis as a Host is all you need from one. Communicates very well/promptly with clear directions and instructions. Place - Like the host, place is exactly like it says on the tin (in this case the advertisement). I stayed here with my wife for her work trip and it was great. It is walkable to Oakham Business Park if you are ever working here. Amenities like few takeaways, local pubs, supermarket and a retail park with cinema are all 10mins walking distance from this place. Cost is very good for you get and the location. One of the things which is important for me, is on premise parking and unlike many other adverts on Airbnb, where they say it is on premise but then ends up being on the road, is not the case with this one. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a cost effective stay, close to Mansfield town center and not far from the motorway M1 with easy access to local amenities.

Hannah's place was one of my favourite Airbnbs of all time - the space, decor, amenities and all the little touches were just fantastic. The location is perfect and access to everything the Peak District has to offer could not be better. Offstreet parking was super convenient. The place was spotless clean. Great location for a nearby family wedding Lovely place to stay, fully equipped and spotless. Village is great (went to the Royal Oak pub for drinks and food) walking through the village there were lots of other options but we didn’t have the time to try them Would recommend!

We spent a lovely few days at Scrumpy’s Cottage - it’s beautifully decorated with lots of quirky but tasteful touches. The welcome basket of goodies went down well too. Jo was quick to answer any pre arrival questions and she and Adam were perfect hosts when we visited their micro pub next door - really friendly as were all the locals. Super little home from home. We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

Great initial communication with Steven and throughout. he proactively got in touch shortly before the stay and we easily arranged the check-in time as he was going to meet me at the property. I was closer to the end of window I said I'd be, but he was ready and waiting at the property. Had a nice chat about my journey and plans for the weekend, learning a little of Stevens history also, before a quick house tour. The house is easily accessible and I was lucky with the parking, finding a roadside spot directly outside, did appear to be parking up and down the street also. The house was clean and tidy. Very well stocked kitchen though I didn't use any of the tea/coffee/jams though I didn't use any of them. Overall, felt like a comfortable stay, home from home. Only downside was the heat and lack of a fan though in this British weather a fan would likely just push the warm air around the house 🤣

We (3 friends) had a really nice stay here. The house was very clean and well looked after and the views from the front of the house just amazing. Comfy beds, plenty of parking and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location too for our visits to Bolsover Castle and Renishaw gardens.

Sunshine Cottage is a beautiful home. It was welcoming, cosy & exceptionally clean. Lovely views from the garden. We managed to park along the road near the Coop & it’s a short but fairly steep climb to the cottage. We had a brilliant few days with plenty of walking which is just what we were looking for. As soon as we saw the Garden House we relaxed straight away, it is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery and birds. Isabel’s handbook had lots of information and great instructions to walk around the estate and meet the sheep. The welcome pack was superb! Thankyou! We slept so well with the bird song waking us. We did venture out but it was great to get back to the comfort of the Garden house. I met Isabel who is a wonderful lady. We do hope to be back again Mary and David

We've just spent a great week exploring and walking this part of the Peak District - staying at Peter's wonderful home Saunters in Darley Dale. Everything about Saunters is perfect - perfect location, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views across the countryside from the lounge and conservatory. Saunters provides a spacious and comfortable home in which to relax and unwind.

If you’re on the fence about booking this place, do it. Absolutely fantastic stay, immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Kate was a fantastic host who also provided some essentials for our stay which was so thoughtful. What a beautiful home and so peaceful. Everything about mill house and the host was fantastic, will definitely be back

It was a very clean and tidy apartment with everything we needed. The only issue was the hot water in shower, it kept going off and caused a difficult experience in the shower. Apart from this, everything was perfect!

Had a relaxing stay near Peak district walks and close to Nottingham. A very comfortable house. Our host Judith was very helpful and kind.
