Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Manhattan Beach

We had a fabulous month at 26th Street! Jen and Jean Marc were always responsive ~ even when they were at the hospital having a baby!! Our family made many beautiful memories in their home and we look forward to going back if available! Marcie🌸

This is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at in LA. It is in a perfect location in Hermosa Beach. A half block to coffee shops, restaurants, and little boutiques. The beach is only a few blocks away and the strand. The Airbnb is perfectly designed. Very modern yet comfortable, with all the things you want in a stay. Also impeccably clean! I’m looking forward to coming back soon!

My priority was sleep, low noise level, and privacy. The place is in a residential area with little noise compared to downtown, but you’d still hear exhaust/engine sounds occasionally at night from intentionally ostentatious cars. You’re also likely to wake up with the rooster crowing. The place is a part of the main house, separated with a hall/door, so it’s private, but you’d hear the owners and see them outside your windows, cuz, duh, it’s their house. I really liked this place, probably the most homey Airbnb I’ve ever been to, probably because it is an actual home and not the 11th property, which are the problem with the Airbnb. Seeing colibrí thanks to the feeders outside the windows has been a great treat. Thank you, Karen & Curtis!

My small family and I loved our stay here! The place was just as described and even more beautiful and peaceful in person. Very walkable for my fellow dog parents. Hannah also had two large tower fans accessible for those warmer days which was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Ellie’s place is fantastic. Love the cozy space… Bougie Beach House the house is squeaky clean from linens to bath towels, kitchen etc. I found Ellie to be very flexible and easy to work with. The house is steps from the beach. We didn’t need to use the air with the wonderful beach breeze & it was so nice hearing the waves roll all day and night. A great stay!

This house was amazing! Even better than the pictures! Dimitris was great with communication and providing suggestions for the area. Sean (co-host) was on site when we arrived and walked us through everything in the home. The entire stay he was just a text or phone call away and it was great! Only slight issue was the previous guest smoked in the home so the floors were a little sticky and dirty from whatever the cleaners used to get rid of the smoke odor. Besides that, the place was clean and perfect! They even offered a bottle of wine for the floor troubles (thank you!) - we enjoyed the pool the 1st day we were there and did not need the heater. But we felt it the days after, and I recommend purchasing the heating if you plan to use it during this time of year. (we only used the pool the 1st as we were out exploring the other days). This was a great stay and highly recommend!! Thank you Dimitris & Sean!!

Perfect stay for our weekend in Hollywood. Walking distance to all of the clubs we wanted to go to, and So peaceful. The jacuzzi area was SO nice. We could have spent our whole trip out there just enjoying the view. We basically lived out there when we were “home”. Communication was perfect, making our checkin, and our stay, stress free. Would 100% stay again!

The apartment is great - very clean, spacious and has all the amenities needed for living. The host is very responsive and welcoming! Amazing stay!

Great spot in Manhattan Beach. The unit was immaculately clean and nicely appointed. located up a block or so from one end of the Strand. Good parking spots. Would definitely stay there again.

John was a great host. Very accommodating- even took the time to meet prior to booking to determine if my vehicle could be parked there. Friendly & and a great communicator, I would 100% book again if I found myself in the area for work.

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend getaway - well situated, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Plus, the location was incredible, being right in the heart of everything while still being quiet!

Nik was a great host and his place was super cute! It looked exactly like the pictures and was in a great area. Nik was very responsive and friendly when it came to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Bradley’s place was in a perfect location. We felt safe walking to and from the home and everything was walkable! The restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, the local grocery store, and the beach! Bradley’s dad met us when we arrived at 3am via uber. He was the most welcoming, sweet and accommodating man. He helped us get in, showed us around and gave some recommendations for our stay. He even had a sweet gift for my daughter, knowing we were there to celebrate her birthday. The place was great! Clean and plenty of room. Stocked perfectly for our needs. Upon checkout, Robert (Brad’s dad) met us to say goodbye and gave us a bag he prepared filled with of treats for the girls for the plane ride. Truly, Robert is a blessing! My daughter and her friend said this was the best trip they have ever been on and meeting Robert was a big piece of that. Hoping to make our way back in the near future! Can’t say enough about the wonderful hospitality!

Our stay at Hilary’s property was fantastic! The check in was easy and clear instructions were provided. We did not need the parking pass that was provided, but it was great know that it was available if we needed it. The property was exactly as described and was a great value for the location and distance to the beach. Everything we needed was within a 5 minute walk. This is a place we would recommend to anyone looking for a beach getaway and we would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for one night with my two toddlers. Kids loved the bunk bed. The place was very clean - beds were comfortable. Beautiful views of the ocean from a large outdoor space where the kids enjoyed playing while at home. Convenient breakfast shop right downstairs for quick bites and coffee. Parking included which was a plus! Can walk right down to the beach and the strand only few blocks away. Apt was on a main road but could not here anything from inside. Plenty of space in the apt. Would highly recommend! I will definitely try to stay here again if in need of a place to stay in Manhattan Beach!

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Absolutely loved our stay here and would 100% rebook, truly a one of a kind place! The host was nothing but kind and responsive, the space was spotless and so beautiful. Nothing but good things to say!

Wonderful place. Only unfortunate thing is that we were right next to the main entrance so we heard people coming in and out. It only sucked because i was up and i got scared but would have never noticed if i was asleep. Wish i had time to visit the rooftop. It is a must stay. Host is very friendly and responsive. She made sure I was okay even though she was dealing with an 8 hr time difference. That’s service! Close to the beach.

Very well-furnished with all the amenities. Our hosts even had cold drinks in the fridge for us. Both Tianna and Grant were very responsive and friendly. Only 5min to LAX

Overall, my stay went pretty smooth. The guests were very helpful and checking out was seamless. The apartment itself was filled with very nice amenities. The living room is very spacious and having parking is a plus. The Airbnb is situated in a nice area. I enjoyed my stay and recommend to anyone wanting to stay near the LA area.

This place was spectacular. My fiance and I really enjoyed this cozy spot and everything was as described. Place has a vintage look and feel to it that I really loved. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and nightlife that we’re walking distance. Cynthia, I would like to say you are awesome! You were so responsive to our messages and just made our stay much more comfortable. Again thank you for everything.

Great spot in the heart of downtown. Loved the rooftop pool. Very convenient location, close to Dodger Stadium (Go Blue!). Host easy to communicate with. Front desk people super cool. Was nice to have parking too. Would stay again. Be sure to read about the history of this building. Super interesting.

Cara’s place was awesome. My daughter and I stayed there for 3 nights and it was a great experience. Cara was super responsive and her directions and details for using her space were very helpful (parking, keypad access, etc). The unit was clean and pretty and had everything it said it would in the description. The garden was fantastic. It was so lovely with palms, a banana tree, succulents, flowers and the gorgeous fountain. It was a great base camp location for us because we crammed a lot of sight seeing into our short time in LA. We were able to walk to the 3rd Street Promenade, Ocean Front Walk and the Santa Monica Pier, from there we rented the public bikes and rode one-way to Venice to explore the boardwalk and canals. We could go on and on and wish we could have stayed longer!
