Great little spot to relax and unwind. Easy access to Kaiwaka, Mangawhai and Waipu, but also a really comfortable place to just hang out in if you don't want to go out. Mike and Leonie are really lovely, very responsive and helpful, including in the middle of a power cut due to storms!

Amazing place for a long weekend stay! Rose was very responsive and friendly, helping us to update our booking when needed and sending clear instructions on check in etc. The place was well equipped and close enough to walk down to local shops/beach. Thanks for having us!

Great host and very good communication, we felt warmly welcomed. The view from the deck and the rooms was beautiful. The place was spacious enough for our small family. The place is cosy, fully equipped and has everything you need. Cafe and Fish and Chips are just down the road. Beautiful surroundings, with plenty to do. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Ad's place - we definitely felt the Bali vibes! From the deck you can enjoy a great view of the ocean or have a great time inside with the pool table and darts. We highly recommend Ad's place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Grandads magical place - it felt like a home away from home. Cosy and everything we needed. We stayed for a week after a wedding at Brooke’s Lane with our kids and made use of the skateboards at the local MAZ, the boogie boards at the sand dune, a couple of days of bad weather and we got the puzzles out. Private and conveniently located, walking distance to the interesting local museum and cafe, would definitely recommend for a family getaway. Thank you!

It was a great stay and the hosts were very friendly and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. Despite a couple of widespread power outages, the hosts still made sure our stay was as undisturbed as possible. And made sure we had power and a warm stay through bad weather. And they even offered for us to move or cancel before hand knowing the weather and the risks that we due.

We loved this Ruakaka holiday home. It was so warm and homely with a perfect layout, super clean, comfy beds and we loved the set up of the garage. Even though the weather wasn't great, we jumped in the pool. This place would be so epic in summer. Sarah was the perfect host, super responsive.

Hattie was great to work with and very kind. The house pets were also very cute and sweet. The view from the property is amazing as well! Great little place for a weekend getaway and the nearby towns were great for exploring. Hattie kept us informed of everything was available for anything we needed.

Really nice place to stay. Lots of space in the living room the kitchen has everything you need. Bathrooms are clean and aesthetic. Shivani communicates really well. It’s just sad we did not get to use the pool. But was given a refund for the heating fee.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s cabin. The place was spotless, cozy, and perfect for the two of us. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful view through the large windows — it was exactly the quiet escape we were looking for. The location was also ideal, just a short drive to town and the beach. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft; it was the perfect place to unwind & relax. The outdoor bath and bbq were a big hit and the kitchen was well stocked to allow us to cook a nice dinner each night. Our puppy had lots of fun running around the fenced property and exploring! Thank you!

Absolutely loved our stay. Perfect for family holiday with all age ranges of kids. Had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Loved the fire pit and kids play area. Thanks for wonderful weekend away.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was so sad to leave! The cottage is so idyllic and was well beyond our expectations (which were already high). We arrived at night so were welcomed with the stunning outdoor lights really highlighting the place and were in complete awe! We completely fell in love with the place. It feels incredibly private and peaceful there. There is a full kitchen and coffee and tea to enjoy while you hear all the different birds chirping away. The outdoor bath and shower was so great even in the middle of winter. To star gaze. The swings were adorable and suited the landscape so well. Dean has really thought of everything with this place and it was a wonderful experience. It felt so much more than an airbnb. His communication was great and friendly. We definitely hope to come here again.

We loved our stay!! Chris is very friendly. She allowed us to feed her animals. My 4 year old enjoyed a lot at her farm. It is so close to Waipu Cove and Langs beach. Me and my 4 year old walk to Waipu cove and we enjoyed our little walk. Great Location!! Highly recommended!!
