House holiday rentals in Mangawhai Heads

It was a great stay and the hosts were very friendly and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. Despite a couple of widespread power outages, the hosts still made sure our stay was as undisturbed as possible. And made sure we had power and a warm stay through bad weather. And they even offered for us to move or cancel before hand knowing the weather and the risks that we due.

We would thoroughly recommend Nicks place to anyone hoping to visit the beautiful Mangawhai Heads . The house is situated on a very peaceful street just a couple of minutes drive to the town with its many shops, absolutely fabulous for all the family to enjoy with pool . The owners responded very quickly with us when we and gave further information and were always so supportive through out our stay.Thanks

We loved this Ruakaka holiday home. It was so warm and homely with a perfect layout, super clean, comfy beds and we loved the set up of the garage. Even though the weather wasn't great, we jumped in the pool. This place would be so epic in summer. Sarah was the perfect host, super responsive.

Amazing property which was even better than it looked in the photos. Very well equipped with everything you need and communication with Emma was quick and easy. Pool, spa and outdoor fireplace were a big hit!

We had a great stay, the pool and spa were perfect for us. We loved the 2 living areas, and there were plenty of stools at the kitchen and the table was huge so worked really well when we had all of us there.

What stood out from the start, is how well equipped, how clean and how well maintained it is, inside and out. The outdoor areas are awesome, the covered seating area, with heater, sit up bar table and of course the spa pool… if you like the indoor outdoor flow for the whole family, you’re going to love this place. 2 Smart TV’s (2 lounges= ideal for teens😃), easy to operate, with soundbars and subs, every detail’s been thought of (like it was your own place).! Every room has a fan.. yes, every room..! It’s like they want you to enjoy your stay.! A leisurely 3 minute drive to the heads or wood st shops and restaurants makes it a great location, in a nice quiet part of town. We’ll be back, as long as we can book in time..!!😬🤣 Awesome comms all round and YES the spa pool is spotless..👌🏽 Cheers

Ali's place was the perfect location for our small family fellowship. You'll have everything you need in the kitchen. The stairs going down is a bit tight but the rooms are clean. We brought our own linens, and toiletries. Huge and quiet location away from the city buzz.

We had a truly magical time staying at Karl’s hidden gem on the beach front, we were blessed with stunning sunrises and sunsets from one mountain to another over the sea, we felt right at home here, the beachfront was truly spectacular, private and the home was so cozy and so special to be in, we are very grateful for the experience, we had the best time with lots to do and explore in the area, we were constantly blown away by how beautiful and special it was

Our party of 4 couldn't be more happier. The home is exactly how it looks in the photos and even more lovely in person. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed. Well-stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, cooking utensils, pot, pans etc. Location was walking distance to Bennetts which has a bakery, café and decadent chocolates. New World supermarket just a short drive away. Jessica was awesome and responsive throughout. Highly recommend this property and we would definitely book this place again on our next trip to Mangawhai.

Amazing modern accomodation with a stunning view. Great location (though is a drive to the beach) but great for walks on the estuary. Quiet & private enough. Really nice high quality build. Will be back for sure.

Awesome girls trip away to the beautiful, calm, peaceful surrounds of nature halfway between Warkworth and Snells beach. Epic amenities, very clean, great spa right next to a waterfall creek. Would highly recommend to stay for a weekend or a week ! We will be back. Thank you !

A spectacular experience for my partner and I. We wished we could have booked more nights! The scenery, the spa pool and just everything about this place was perfect. A nice getaway from the noise back in Auckland. The host was very accommodating. We definitely will be coming back! 5+ Star rating from us.

We stayed here for a girls weekend away and it was Perfect. Very spacious, relaxing and private. A beautiful outlook when sitting on the deck. The spa is a lovely added bonus which we enjoyed. Natasha is a fab host, great communication and easy to follow instructions. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property. We all had a fab time.

Reluctant to be too gushy incase the place is not available when we want to go back and the way we’re feeling now, that might be very soon. Photos didn’t really communicate the vibe of the place which is usually the case. It felt like all the best bits of camping without all of the stuff you really don’t want. The surrounding are very peaceful and we lived on the outdoor lounge area, just using the very nice kitchen and bathroom and rooms for sleeping. Obviously the weather will be a factor in what type of experience you have but even when we did have a few heavy showers, we were dry and warm under the large covered deck. Oh and really comfortable beds too. Haven’t felt this relaxed in years.

I booked this place on behalf of my mother-in-law, brother-in-law and niece who were coming up from Wellington to spend Christmas with us. Brandon had rejected their booking request due to them having no reviews, but he was ok with me booking as I had positive reviews. Brandon is an immaculate owner, and only wishes to have people who are respectful stay, which is understandable for a new owner. They thought the place was great, exactly the space they needed. Clean & tidy (couch could do with fabric being cleaned), had most things they needed (normal glasses, more plates & cutlery would be helpful), niece enjoyed having her own little room to play in. Good to note that there is no BBQ available, so a little niggly for summer holidaying - we asked Brandon if he was ok with us bringing a Baby-Q and he was, so we provided that for our family. Seems to be a cat living there (or neighbours), good to be aware if allergic. Brandon was super helpful & easy to communicate with via app & email.

Was in desperate need of an R&R away from the city bustle and Alison’s place was perfect. The retreat is cosy with a beautiful view. I enjoyed sitting on the deck with my tea, listening to birdsong. I was lucky to get clear night skies to look up at the stars from the outdoor hot tub. Such a lovely haven and would definitely want to come back. Alison also gave great local recommendations to visit the street marker in Waipu.

We are so lucky to have found Roxanne's place to stay in. We had been displaced by the Cyclone Gabrielle, and Roxanne was incredibly responsive to our situation and was able to accommodate our early check-in request, as well as accommodate our additional requests to book more days due to the weather throughout the week. The house was perfect for my us (2 people), quiet, relaxing and a well stocked kitchen. Roxanne was very helpful at telling us about local walks and beaches to visit, etc. I hope we will be back someday. Thanks again Roxanne, for making our stay easy and peaceful, in spite of the weather and displacement anxiety!
