Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Mangakino

Absolutely beautiful location, stunning views, pristine house, comfy bed and very private. Only thing we’d note is the hot tub is super dark around it and it has no steps to get in or out which felt a bit dangerous with having the drop around the edge. Absolutely recommend this place, we loved it and beautiful location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Signal Ridge. The view over the mountains was just gorgeous. The inside of the home was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a simple dinner. The breakfast food items that were provided were so great too. Communication was fantastic. Would highly recommend, especially if you are planning a hobbiton visit the next morning, as it is only a 2 min drive away.

Atiamurphy is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. Service provided, Host Communication and the Location, is perfect, for me at least. kids will have a blast, parents will get their peace, and travellers will scratch that itch whilst here! The Starling Box is definitely the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Janina is an exceptional host - she gave us a lovely, warm welcome and showed us all around her beautiful, modern home. The home itself is clean, well appointed and has all the comforts of home. We appreciated the extra touches that are evident throughout the house that make everything cozy and comfy - from warm blankets to a well kitchen stocked with delicious breakfast items, coffee, tea and snacks. The space is peaceful and inviting, and you can feel the love that went into every detail of this fantastic Airbnb. Thank you Janina, for welcoming us with open arms and making our stay in Rotorua so wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Kristin has been great with communication, offering early check in as soon as the place is available. Location is excellent, lake front, next to many restaurants and most importantly, 3 min walk to Wai Ariki hot spring which is the main reason for our visit to Rotorua. Note though because of the proximity to Eat Street - Friday night particularly can be very noisy , music well into 1am . The pull out couch at the study does sleep the 5th guest, but the study is more a recess from the kitchen area, so whoever sleeps there bring eye mask and ear plugs.

We had such a lovely and relaxing stay at Irene’s apartment. She is super attentive and the house was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. An excellent location and extremely helpful host. The space is spotlessly clean and solid value. The cats were adorable and gave the place character. Way better than booking a motel room ...it felt safe and cosy. Highly recommended and we will book again.

Beautiful location with scenic views over the lake. The studio is really well equipped and the small details really made a huge difference - electric blanket in the bed and snacks for hungry hikers. We loved mountain biking in redwood forest and then coming back to watch the birds on the lake. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

6 family members had a wonderful stay. Loved the large living space with plenty of room for all ages and comfortable and stylish furniture. Wifi was good for all of us with devices, beds comfortable, shower had good pressure and it was good there was a 2nd toilet in the laundry with a full house. Friendly helpful host we really enjoyed our stay thank you for hosting us

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!

Lovely hosts and spotlessly clean place to stay! We were looking for somewhere near Sanctuary Mountain (only 15min away!) and being winter wanted a hot tub. Megan's home did not disappoint. Kitchenette bigger than we thought and easily accommodated the 4 of us for breakfasts. Hot tub was lovely on a chilly evening. Heat pumps in the bedrooms greatly appreciated. Would happily stay again, maybe next time in summer :)
