An Unforgettable Stay – Feels Like Home! My friend and I traveled from Germany, and staying at Liv House was a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! From the moment we arrived, Prasanna and his lovely mother welcomed us like family. Prasanna is hands down the best host we've ever had – always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. The tours he arranged were tailored, thoughtful, and absolutely amazing. The food? Incredible! His mother’s home-cooked Sri Lankan meals were delicious and made with so much love. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and comfortable, and the whole house has such a warm, family vibe. We felt more like friends than guests, and we’re already planning to come back. Liv House is a true gem – highly recommended!

My colleagues who stayed there felt it was a bit remote. Unfortunately they had to cut short the journey to no fault of Gayan.

Location is really good, you ll have a great view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Breathtaking views. House is really nice and clean. Staff members are really friendly. They communicate well and they can cook 👨‍🍳 well. If you want to use the pool please let them know early, pool is having fresh water from mountains. If you have a driver, he/she can have their own drivers unit at the back of the house. Rooms are really good and all the rooms have attached bathrooms. This place is good for 8 people. We will be back again ☺️🤩🎉

Charini’s place is lovely, she was very accommodating to our needs and there is a caretaker available 24/7. Views are spectacular and not too far from town. Living room is comfy but it is cold in this area at night so opt for the additional heaters!

The place is just awesome, everything you see in the pictures and the Garden and pool view is quite amazing. The house was spot on clean , everything looked way better than it was advertised. Don is a super host , cared for the details , was there to receive us when we arrived and offered his help during the whole stay and made sure everything went smoothly. The beds were comfortable and the aircon in the rooms was very Good. Some of our group enjoyed tea on the Terrace in the morning. A special note about the caretaker Dona.. She is one of the best human beings i met, she is humble, accommodative and always smiling.. She cooks amazing food with the touch of both local and continental touch. The Kitchen is well Equipped So Guest Can use it to cook Necessary Overall I recommend this as a 5* rating property. you can blindly choose this option to Best stay in kandy

This property is a beautiful home with four large bedrooms and bathrooms and very comfortable common areas. The property manager is incredibly helpful, friendly, generous, and accommodating and he is a wonderful chef. He made us a delicious platter of grilled vegetables and roti in response to our request for a light dinner. For breakfast he made more roti, crepes, toast, omelette, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. All of it was amazing. The house is up a steep hill, but well worth the climb!

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve been to. Located in a peaceful surrounding and feels completely private. Gayani was already reaching out before our check in dates to ensure everything’s smooth. Roman & the chef were the highlight! They cooked us a feast and all of us enjoyed the delicious dinner. A must try! The house itself is huge and has an antique touch. Feels right at home. Great place to spend time with family. Wouldn’t think twice to book this place again on our next visit. Loved it.

The view from this place is absolutely spectacular, even at night when you can see the illuminated Buddhist temple opposite the balcony. The house is well-equipped with everything you need. The personnel is extremely helpful and will help you with everything from breakfast to dinner and laundry service as well as sightseeing advice.

- We stayed with my whole family, total of 7 adults and a child. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful, decor of the house is well thought through and so nice! 😍 - We also booked a cooking class for dinner time and breakfast! There was a little misunderstanding about breakfast, because you can choose between a few options but the staff again went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (which we were anyway 🙂). - Cooking class was interesting, they explained everything thoroughly and food so delicious! We also booked a private bartender who made cocktails while we enjoyed the cooking class, which was very good as well and between the group, great value for money! - swimming pool is nice and refreshing, and view from the top floor terrace is stunning! - overall I would highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for a group but it’s really the staff that makes it extra great!

Sujith is a great host, our family of 15 enjoyed the stay, and definitely recommending others who wishes to visit kandy to rent his place. The place is clean, privacy, secured environment and breathtaking view. They are helpers also at your disposal for basic needs or assistance.

The Weir House was an amazing property we stayed a night at on the way from Hatton to Kandy. Avanti was great in organising our stay last minute. We were looked after extremely well by Lucien, Leslie and the rest of the staff. We had the property to ourselves which meant private use of the expansive lounge and dining rooms, and serene pool area. We were also given the option to chose amongst the well appointed bedrooms. Given the relatively remote location, meals are served by Leslie and his team. It was some of the best food we've had during our stay in Sri Lanka and a highlight of the stay. Great place to stay, great views, quiet setting, house is huge and bedrooms even bigger. Food prepared by Raja, Darshan and Rani was such a luxury and very good. I highly recommend Soshana’s home, our family of 13 all really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Soshana.

Sampath's place was the perfect starting point for our Sri Lanka trip. The secluded location offered breathtaking views, and everything we needed was taken care of. My family, including my kid and parents, loved it there. The caretakers, were incredibly friendly and great hosts. The food she cooked for us was also really great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

Amazing surroundings! Super responsive caretaker! Out of the world food! The warmth of the host more than compensates for the cold weather!

The Glass House is simply magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the view even more stunning than the photos. The host was warm, responsive, and made sure everything ran perfectly. The staff took the experience to another level. Kevin, the chef, is exceptional every meal was tailored to our tastes, from delicious Sri Lankan dishes to international favourites. Kapilla, our butler, was attentive and always one step ahead, anticipating every need. Milan, the manager, was our go-to for anything, and Chandra, the housekeeper, kept everything spotless with a smile. Every person made us feel truly cared for. This wasn’t just a stay, it was a heartfelt experience we’ll never forget.

I had a pleasant stay at this well-maintained property. The space was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, making for a relaxing experience. The host was responsive, and the overall ambiance was great. However, I believe bath accessories could be improved to enhance the experience further. With a few upgrades or adjustments, this place could be perfect. Would still recommend it for a comfortable stay!

Sandalwood is a beautiful villa with a stunning view. The house and the interiors are modern and tasteful. The infinity pool overlooking the river and the mountains is superb. The staff is very gentle and proactive. Leslie prepare fresh breakfast and cook excellent dinner. Kumara is taking care about the house as if it was her property and perform perfect laundry service. Very interesting the Victoria golf club’s history and how this beautiful project run by big Sri Lankan’s company help the local community.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty
