We had a great and unforgettable time, super cared for cabin and super friendly people.

Very good host, our stay was lovely with a fresh breakfast every morning at whatever time suits you. Comfy bed and even had a hot bath after a long day hiking around the village. 10/10 would recommend staying

I honestly might not find enough words to fully describe the incredible hospitality of the host. Even a 5⭐️ rating doesn’t do justice to the level of care and attention we received. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and make our stay memorable. The property is located at the peak of a mountain, just a short 5-minute hike up, and the views are absolutely worth it. To make things easier, the hosts kindly arranged to pick up our luggage from the base, which was a huge help. Despite a heavy storm during our stay, they still managed to get snacks delivered to us all the way from the city—talk about dedication! Every little detail showed how much they genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with hosts who truly treat you like family

If you are considering to book this place, just do it. They are the most welcoming people and really want to make the best out of your stay. The view is just incredible. Sunset as well as sunrise are impressive from up there. The house is such an experience as well. Just don’t expect a 5 star hotel vibe - but then you will simply love this place. (And the food - delivered by a chef from the town „closeby“ - was the best of my entire time Sri Lanka). I wish everyone could have this experience

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Mount View, and we can confidently say it was our first ever experience as the super host facility. From the moment we booked, it was clear that this host goes above and beyond to ensure their guests feel welcome and cared for. The communication was seamless, with prompt and detailed responses to all my queries. The property itself was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect and closer to many sites, and the blend of comfort and hospitality made this stay unforgettable. It was the best experience of our trip! The place is splendid, quiet, surrounded by nature! The cabins are perfect, we fall asleep looking at the gleaming worms through the windows. Everything is waiting for you! But the best surprise was the meeting with Rumaya and her colleague!! Rumaya is a person with knowledge of all the surrounding nature! He's a wonderful cook, everything was delicious and made by fire! He was available to show us the lands and cultures! We learned a lot and left with wonderful memories. We will never be able to thank him enough, we left sad not to be able to stay longer! The experience is definitely worth a visit! Thank you for everything!

The best view in Ella! We had sunrise from our bed - couldn’t have asked for more. The host was extremely friendly and we especially enjoyed the breakfast served on the terrace with the view. Would visit again and again.

Being the first guests to stay somewhere is always a bit daunting, but we are so glad we followed our instincts! This little gem was everything described, and even more with the feelings experienced staying there. The peacefulness and lush surroundings were exactly what we were looking for. The short walk down to the river for a bath was a daily ritual. Getting into town was really easy, as Asoka kindly organised a tuktuk for us. Definitely will stay again!

Great stay at Arch’s. It was a wooden cabin with a great view point of 9 arch bridge. Just a 15min walk down hill to the bridge. He and his wife were amazing and very pleasant. The breakfast was an extra but amazing to sit and watch the trains go by. It was nice to relax in the hammock also. The bed was comfortable, good pressure and temperature in the shower. The room was spotless. great value for money for what you get. The town is a short tuk tuk drive. Thank you for the amazing stay! I will be recommending to friends.

We had an incredibly great stay. The cabin was very cozy and we even got a totally good breakfast. The whole family were very friendly and helpful. The nearby waterfall is easily accessible on foot. Definitely a recommendation!😊

I had a perfect stay. Both the host- Heshan and Caretaker- Ranjith were very proactive and quick to guide me. The location is the highlight, which is a beautiful setting next to the Castlereagh lake. Only con I saw was there is no WiFi, which the host can perhaps take as a suggestion for future development. I will definitely recommend this listing for anybody visiting Hatton and nearby areas as an excellent Lake Cabin getaway location!
