Johns Hut is located in our private manuka and forestry block. It is an idyllic spot with hundreds of acres to explore and with only native birds to join you. There is hot water for you to enjoy for outdoor showers and baths but no electricity and no phone reception, so you can truly relax and unwind. There is a large outdoor fire, self contained kitchen and plenty of beds - all beautifully restored in their rustic form. We would love to host you in our spot of heaven!

Ride, roam relax at our mountain bike park. Maximum peace and quiet on top of a hill with nothing but views. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.

Nestled into lush green forest an hour north of Wellington, Waitohu Lodge was built on the three Rs: relax, rejuvenate and revive. There’s 2ha of Jurassic-like forest where the only sound is native birds and the breeze rustling the 100-year-old trees, a brand new 6m x 3m swimming pool to cool off in, a private bush-walk and stream. Set on an acre of flat land, there is plenty of space for games, for kids to run around, or just relaxing on the large deck in the sun. This home has all the essentials including, air conditioning or heat pump, a Smart TV, and unlimited Wifi (Fibre).
