Cottage holiday rentals in Malibu

We had a wonderful stay at Dana’s place! The cottage was decorated wonderfully, was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a terrific stay! Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Rachel’s! There was ample space for our family of 4. Rachel and Brandon did everything they could to make us feel at home, including providing restaurant recommendations and ordering our kids toys for the sand! We had the best time!

the back yard, pool and cottage is beautiful and relaxing. the pool was wamed up for us. everything was clean and very cute. i hosted a little bbq here with the family and the main reason why everyone was so delighted with the place was because of Connie. such a wonderful soul. thank you and we will definitely make this a spot to book throughout the year.

Our stay here was quick, but just what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet. Our family of six stayed, and one reason we chose it was because each of our four kids would have their own bed. No pillow barriers needed haha. Speaking of beds, these were the *most* comfortable ones we’ve used at an AirBnB. The space was comfy, inviting, and super cool. We loved looking at all the music industry memorabilia, too; what a neat legacy for Michele to share with her AirBnB guests! One thing to note: the place is a converted garage so it is cooled and heated with a mini-split. It wasn’t turned on when we got there, and we wish it had been because it was a pretty cold, drizzly night (December) and took a long time to heat up. So if you stay here, maybe request that it be turned on in advance of your arrival. I’m sure the property management wouldn’t mind at all because they were nothing but accommodating and welcoming. Our big family felt lucky to find this place to stay while in the area.

This place is so beautiful, quiet, secluded and magical! It's about 12 minutes drive from the town of Pearblossom which is very small. It's a small gates area with only a few houses around, but we havn't seen anyone while we stayed there. It's 9 minutes walk from a natural park called "the devil's punch bowl" where you can hike and climb on rocks. We enjoyed it very much with our kids and dog. The house is great! It has lots of bedrooms and beds, fully stocked kitchen (very old appliances but they work), 2 fireplaces, many TV's, awesome play room and a wonderful Jacuzzi (strong jets). We spent time hiking, bathing, playing pool, watching movies and eating. This is a perfect place to check out from the world and enjoy family time. I will also mention that if you go outside early, you will see a few dears! There's a grocery store about 12 minutes drive, we brought a lot of food with us. Wonderful experience!

Best Airbnb stay ever!! As a PCT hiker coming off trail for a couple zero days - we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The house was so clean and cozy! Natasha had everything you could possibly need stocked in the house. Fresh towels, laundry detergent, kitchen appliances, a sick coffee maker, snacks and spices in the pantry, as well as the best sourdough bread I’ve ever had! Also the hot tub was a perfect touch to relax after a few hard climbs in previous days. Natasha was so responsive and helpful to us during our stay. Best Airbnb and host ever!!! Don’t book anywhere else!!

We had the BEST time at Chase’s place. We loved the island itself, but felt very lucky to find such a fun and personable place that was full of character and wonderful amenities. We loved the hot tub, the beach items, the games, the office capabilities, the yoga items, the great water pressure, and on and on. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Chase!

We really loved this little cottage. Felt very at home straight away. Great location for a quick walk into town to all the lovely shops. Supermarkets within a 10 minute walk too.

Patricia has been our host twice now, and each time has been lovely! Beautiful little casita so close to Warner Bros and Universal! Very much enjoyed our stay.

Wir sind sehr dankbar dass wir die Zeit in der Hummingbird Retreat verbringen durften. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unser Kinder wollten gar nicht weg, sie möchten Karen sehr gerne....die auch wirklich ein sehr netter Mensch ist. ich finde die Unterkunft in wirklich noch viel schöner und größer als auf den Bildern, Topangas Flair hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen... wir würden gerne irgendwann wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

My stay at The Venice Love Lodge was great! On nice quiet street it was easy for me and my two dogs to walk the neighborhood. The Love Lodge is very nice and clean is very well stocked with pans, dishes and utensils so we were able to stay in and cook (Ralph’s grocery store was nearby). Although it has been updated even has usb-c ports at the wall outlet this 1940’s era house was great. The TV has an APPLE TV box and you can log in to your account to watch your content (just remember to log out when you leave). I felt very safe walking around and safe parking on the street. The bicycles are in good working condition and was fun riding around. Personally I preferred a Waymo ride to the Santa Monica pier and Venice Boardwalk (theAI car drove better than some of the other rides shares and was slightly cheaper. Overall had a great time and will do again when I can. Thank you Arron and Monica for the use of the Venice Love Lodge.

My favorite airbnb experience so far. Lovely cosy home, great facilities.. Arlene thought about everything we may need and made sure we felt at home. Appreciated the kind special treatment for PCT hikers!

Place was very cozy! Was very responsive and clear.

Hummingbird Cottage is adorable. The bed was so comfortable and the sound of the fountain was soothing. The house is very small, so not suited to someone really tall. Our daughter stayed in the treehouse and loved it. The location was great for catching the boat to the Channel Islands.

Loved staying here! Great location, super cute little cottage, very clean. Perfect for our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 kids, 1 grandma). Highly recommend and would stay again.

Second time staying at this house, and just as great as the first time. Fabulous location, comfortable, and extremely well-stocked. Great for our two kids--6 and 9--too. A wonderful experience.

We enjoyed our stay in this Newport Beach gem. Our hosts were so welcoming. Drew saved us a parking spot and Holly came over for a visit and nice conversation. We felt so at home. Holly and my husband even tag-teamed to save an orphaned baby opossum on our last morning there. And Holly quickly answered a frantic call from me when I thought I’d left my wallet at the house & was at the airport, in line to check my bag. She stayed on the phone with me while she went to the house where she and the cleaners searched everywhere. My husband ultimately found it in the butt of some packed jeans, but Holly was so calming. I appreciated it so much! It was so sisterly! As for the house, it is in a great location and is walkable to so much! Great location! And clean, clean, clean.

This house is beautiful and just steps to the beach. The house is completely updated and very clean! The cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. And the bed and pillows were so comfortable. We felt right at home from the minute we arrived. The location of this house is the best part. It is located steps from not just the beach, but from the grocery store, coffee shops, tons of restaurants and the best Newport has to offer. We hit up several of their recommendations and loved them all. Everything was so close that we didn’t use our car the entire week. Don’t hesitate to book this rental. We can’t wait to come back. This little house was perfect for our Fullerton stay. It was clean and roomy enough for two couples. We would glad stay here again.

This place was my saving grace, total last minute find and I've already recommended it to a friend! Our favorite part of the stay was definitely the deck and the foliage, it was so beautiful! The beds were comfy and we loved throwing the windows and french doors open when it got warm. Between two of us, there was more than enough space. The location was great too, pretty close to some good spots like Valerie's and some nice bars in the area. Will keep this place in my lists of good LA stays(:

Kingston's place was perfect for just me! Great walkable location, the most comfy bed with soft sheets. Felt right at home.

Our stay at Kathryn’s was great! It is very well appointed and exceptionally clean. We were very comfortable and felt welcomed. The perfect place to stay in Huntington Beach!

Such an adorable place! We loved it! Wish we had stayed an extra night. A very short walk to the beach. Super cute and friendly tavern around the corner. Limited food available within walking distance, but a well equipped kitchen. Though we don’t need them, there were lots of beach supplies! Nanette was very responsive in helping us recover a lost item! Would absolutely recommend this location!
