Tiny house holiday rentals in Mälaren

We had a great stay at Patrik's, the neighborhood is very nice, quiet, peaceful and charming. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and the bus stop is also nearby. Patrik gave us all the necessary instructions for our arrival and to get around during our stay. The cabin is very welcoming and is equipped. We didn't need anything more. This stay was a very good time, a very nice discovery of the city of Stockholm and its inhabitants, the pleasant and peaceful atmosphere and the wonderful landscapes. Thank you Patrik for having us at your place. I highly recommend the Vardmo hut.

It all worked out - home as shown in the pictures. Susanne is very friendly and always responded directly to us if questions came up. Located in a quiet area and you can relax there well. You can get to the surrounding city very quickly. Absolutely recommend! ☺️👍

A very nice cottage in a cozy environment. Close to the lake where we swam and went out with the rowing boat. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. Katarina was a top host. Next time, we'll stay for more nights. Dan, Anna and Myran 😀

Choose this place if you want to get away from the city but still stay close. You have to take the boat for grocery shopping - how cool is that! Nice place out in nature. Recommended!

We stayed in this tiny house for 3 nights and it was just great! Lotta is super nice and even provides food for breakfast. You can look out over the beautiful garden and it's not far from the subway, which will quickly take you into the city. Enskede is also a beautiful area! We can recommend a stay at Lotta's and would come back anytime.

Very nice and cozy stay if you want to explore Vaxholm area! 😊 The place was clean, had everything we needed and felt very cozy. It was great that we could just walk around the island and when we could borrow the bikes for free to explore Vaxholm 🏝. Linda and her husband are very nice too, gave us lots of local tips and the communication was always very easy and fast. Can only recommend!

The accommodation is nice and quiet, with direct view and access to the water. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked the sauna very much. The only thing that bothered us was that the hot water is used up very quickly when showering. Kerstin was very friendly and responded quickly to inquiries. Since she lives right next door, check-in was very flexible and uncomplicated. Stockholm is easily accessible by bus.

A real little haven of peace! The accommodation is modern, well arranged and perfectly located by the sea with breathtaking views. We loved the tranquility of the surrounding nature. Ideal to unwind. Everything was clean and well thought out, the host is responsive and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

I spent two wonderful days in this little cottage. You can explore the surrounding nature and the area is very quiet and relaxing. If you have a car, it is very well connected to Arlanda Airport and you can easily go to Stockholm and Uppsala. Izabella was a fantastic host, always attentive to her guest! I recommend it!

Joonatan was an amazing host. The location was amazing and we had some lovely walks. The area is beautiful and a good drive. My only concern was the water pressure but Joonatan was quick and responsive giving us updates on it and making sure we were okay.

It was beautiful in Anna and Dag's tiny house. They are great hosts and take care of you very, very friendly, reliable and fast. The house is perfectly equipped, there is everything you need and much more: a very good atmosphere, also because this tiny house is so well designed: lots of doors and compartments make tiny tall. And of course, the location on the Mälaren is fantastic. A dream. Stockholm is quickly reached, we were able to use the very fast Nova boat. Gripsholm Castle in idyllic Mariefred is also not too far by car and, of course, Ekerö itself is fabulous. There is a very good bakery: Tegners Bageri, a great swimming pool (the lake was still too cold), everything new and nice and even a new day spa. Thank you for letting us be there, Anna and Dag.

It was a very cozy hut, in a really beautiful quiet place in nature. Everything we needed was there. We arrived by bus and were there after 20 min .

Eva's place is so charming and cozy - a very Swedish experience. 🥰 I have stayed here before and enjoyed it. I like the calm, peaceful surroundings while also being within a short walk to the train, where you can easily go to a large indoor shopping mall and get just about anything you might need - groceries, clothing, dining, haircuts, massage, etc! The bed is really comfortable, as long as you don't mind going up and down a ladder to the loft. I highly recommend this place if you prefer to stay near nature and peace and quiet.

Our host Martin was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the beginning. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to others. This place is truly wonderful. We stayed here for a few days for our mini moon and it was perfect! We were lucky with the weather so were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the lake, a row in the boat, the sauna and relaxed on the balcony. It was peaceful and clean. We hopped on the bus to Stockholm which was super easy! The bed was extremely comfortable and the snacks in the fridge were a bonus. The place is even better than the photos! Would recommend!
