Holiday rentals with a pool in Makahuena Point

We really did enjoy our stay here, it was easy to check in and it’s about a mile away from some very delicious restaurants and shops. The rec center is down the street and the pictures are as described. Brandon is very responsive and quickly answers your questions and gives useful information. The cottage was quaint, clean, and very cozy and relaxing. It was very clean, however I did have an issue with some things that weren’t thoroughly cleaned and wiped down. I’m very particular as I’m very allergic to dust so I mentioned this to Brandon and he offered to have his cleaner go back and fix the spots that weren’t thoroughly cleaned missed. However it wasn’t anything major as I’m just picky. The kitchen and bedrooms were immaculate and looked brand new. There are tons of supplies in the house and in the garage, which I loved. Brandon was so kind, due to this issue the owner came by and gave my kids candy and a book to read. It was very thoughtful and sweet. Overall great experience.

Nice spot for a family of 5 on an island adventure. the seacoast is a short walk and along the coast there is a hiking (or trail running) trails that can go 5+ miles. we never used the beach in front of the nearby hotel as it is rough, but walked to and snorkel at Poipu. the house has games, and a private backyard.

We stayed our last night in Kauai at Jake's place, and it was nice to have somewhere very close to the beach while still feeling very private and peaceful. The only noises heard were the chickens. They have air conditioning as well, which made for a comfortable sleeping situation after having spent the last week in an un-air conditioned space that at times felt too warm and humid to be comfortable. We didn't make use of the kitchen, but it was a nice space. Not sure about the pans/dishes but the sitting area was comfortable. The bathrooms were nice a clean, and the beds were comfortable. We did book this last minute, and so we felt that the rate was well worth the amenities and comfort.

We loved our stay! We could have stayed 2 weeks. Loved the plunge pool feature and garden. Chilling out on the screen porch was so relaxing. We enjoyed making dinner in the modern kitchen and watching movies in the comfortable living room. Driving into Kapa’a was quick and easy either north or south route. Understand that Kauai is windy most of the time; the pool will have leaves fall into it all day. Just net them out before each dip.

North island in princeville is beautiful, it’s away from cities so more expensive amenities and not that many choices but we felt it was more of an authentic island experience. Great beaches. A few Good restaurants nearby. (Happy talk and the pizza place next door) Home is wonderful. Better than expected. Host and home owners were great.

This property was perfect for our family of 7 adults. The views from the living area were beautiful - mountains in one direction and a distant view of the ocean in another direction. The pool and pool area were very nice. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, cookware, and utensils. The bedrooms were comfortable. We really appreciated all of the beach chairs, blankets, umbrellas, etc that were available for our use as well.

We had a great time here! We loved the location next to the Grand Hyatt and all that they have to offer. You can walk to shipwreck beach 5-10 min. Geralyn was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. it was hard for us to find a place last minute that would accommodate 7 guests. this place worked out great it's just the right amount of beds. if you are looking to stay in Poipu/Koloa this is a great option. We loved all the beach gear available for use in the garage. Very convenient. Hope to be back again sometime in the future.

Mariah, the co-host, kept in great communication with us. We misunderstood about the timed check-in and she was very understanding about it. She helped to make our stay very positive, and was very kind about a toddler mishap. The area is very convenient and our children loved being so close to the beaches (many within 5-10 minutes) and food near Poipu and Koloa town (very good to have short drives with two little ones). We also enjoyed the generous hours for the hot tub and pool. It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay here again; a couple of our visiting friends met us for a quiet dinner at the property and they said that they would book this spot, too! Our stay here was PERFECTION for our family of four! Comfortable beds and linens, perfect amount of space, spotlessly clean. Parking lot can be tight when it’s full, but not troublesome. A little confusing to find at first because of construction closing different routes, but nothing difficult to figure out. Some construction repaving the parking lot when we were there but we didn’t even notice unless we were coming or going! Perfect corner location with LOTS of flora making it feel tucked away. Lots of options for walking paths and perfect distance over to explore the Grand Hyatt. Tons of options for “extras”; four beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards (one not even opened!). It was seriously the most perfect home away from home! Dominika was so responsive to every text, it was great!

Paradise! The condo was perfect for the four of us. Very well stocked we didn’t need for anything. All paper products were supplied and restocked. Towels as well. Kitchen had all dishes and everything you could want. All beach stuff boogie boards umbrellas chairs snorkeling etc. Had an amazing time!!

A welcoming hostess and responsive communication. The neighborhood happened to experience a water piping leakage, leading to suspension of water supply for a period of time as we checked in. Reema was able to provide timely solution that ensured us to have water access during the shortage and to retrieve what we left in the house timely. A very attentive and caring hostess. The unit is well located with quick access to many conveniences and beautiful beaches where you also get to see turtles sleeping in the morning by just a short walk. A highly recommended place to stay for its location and pricing.

My husband and I stayed here for part 2 of our honeymoon trip. It was everything we could’ve asked for and more! Such a beautiful space and wonderful location!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of sunrise. Spacious, well stocked condo. Appreciated welcome goody basket filled with Hawaiian treats. Make sure to read instructions on how to open door. The downstairs living area does not have AC. We were there in early January and it was bearable but I think we would have been too hot in summer. The bedrooms were very comfortable with portable AC units. Management had very good and clear communication. We were worried about the nearby construction but we only heard them one morning around 8 as we were getting ready to leave for the day so it never bothered us but if you want to sleep in on weekdays, it might bother you. There is a public trail out back but the lanai is higher so you only see the people when you are sitting outside. Lots of people hike by at sunrise and sunset to see the view you get from the lanai in your PJs! Overall great convenient location and would definitely stay again!

We have visited Hawaii quite a few times, but really enjoyed our stay in your terrific Nihi Kai Villa. The views are absolutely amazing and your home had everything we needed for our adventurous visit to Kauai. Everything is so close! We spent lots of time surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and attending a luau of course! Returning to the villa at the end of everyday was something we looked forward to. The available gas bbq's were also a nice availability we utilized on the few days we cooked at home. Overall we really enjoyed your place and will definitely be re-booking in the future! Mahalo

A wonderful place to stay on my birthday! The view is absolutely breath taking and the sound of the surf puts you at ease. On our first morning we saw a double rainbow which was an omen to us of good things to come. You are in walking distance to the Poipu Beach and they provide all the beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The salt water swimming pool on the property was an extra bonus. Host was helpful and responsive. Hope to return!
