We had a very good stay in an idyllic place. Everything matched the description. Andréa has always been attentive to us. Experience to be redone.

Marisa and her home were awesome! She was very helpful with picking us up from the train station, providing us with great food recommendations, and a clean and comfortable house in a beautiful area.

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

The flat was lovely and cool, spacious, and had everything we needed. We arrived to all the essentials (milk, eggs, water…), and loved being able to leave for evening swims just outside the bedroom door. There is a ferry port five minutes down the road on foot, and you can explore the whole of como! Great restaurants pretty much next door which was great!

Roberta’s home is AMAZING! It’s spacious, in a great location, and has the best view especially for sunset. We loved being right at the edge of city center and a quieter space to relax while being no more than 10 min walk to the furthest restaurant. Don’t forget to look at Roberta’s beautiful paintings around the house and stop at her shop down the road! We’ll certainly stay here again.

We enjoyed the stay with Franziska to the fullest. Such a beautiful place - a charming garden, the surroundings wonderful - what more could you want... we had made a stopover on the way back from southern Italy with our 3 children. Highly recommended, you are also quickly back on the highway. Thank you Franziska for the wonderful time :)

My children and I were allowed to spend a great ski week in Simon and Elsbeth's apartment. Elsbeth responded immediately because of a little something and was very helpful and friendly and proactive. In addition to the really spacious and beautiful apartment, we also liked the sunny location and the ski resort of Savognin very much. We will be happy to come back to you if it turns out. Aurora is a perfect host, the place was our home base for excursions around lake Como. It is not far from Mennaggio, which is a gorgeous town and part of the golden triangle from where you can reach Varenna, Bellagio and other towns via ferries. We were a bit concerned about the driving, but no need its narrow roads , but you get used to after driving twice, and it's worth it, the peacefulness is great after the hectic in "selfie-land" down at the lake 😀. we loved the contrast and the possibility to have both. Cooking yourself with fresh Italian produce is amazing, even more with your own fireplace and modern well equipped kitchen! THANK you Aurora 😊

The accommodation is even prettier than in the photos! Quiet, very clean and good location. Carmen was very kind and gave good advice.

A great, cozy apartment, with everything you need to feel comfortable quickly. It is very cozy, you look into the countryside, the creek rustles. Our two teenagers loved it too. Fabrizio is a very warm and open host with tips and good information. From our point of view, almost an insider tip if you are looking for nature and still want to shop quickly by bus or stroll through Locarno.

We (two families, four children), felt very comfortable with Bruno. The house is comfortably and functionally furnished. Only a little inconvenient: There is only one toilet on the basement, which can be reached via a relatively steep staircase. Otherwise: beautiful, quiet environment, great playground nearby, forest, creek. Beautiful veranda. And Lugano can be reached quickly by public transport and car. The communication with Bruno was always friendly, he very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend staying with him.

Very well presented apartment situated in the most stunning location with views to die for and all you need to feel at home. Cristina was an excellent host, very responsive and accommodating to our needs.

Marugg's place exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Lugano was our final stop on our 2 week family trip through Italy. We experienced many beautiful places throughout the 2 weeks but Marugg's place exceeded them all!!! The attention to detail was phenomenal. The location was 'perfetto,' the views spectacular and the home pristine. Our grandchildren made excellent use of the pool and the outdoor space was incredible! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the expansive patio area soaking in the tranquil views of the lake and all of the beautiful flowers. The smell of honeysuckle abounded outdoors ~ Marugg's home truly encompassed all of the senses. We cannot recommend it enough and we can't wait to return on our next visit to see our Swiss family! Marugg, thank you so much for your kind hospitality! We feel honored to have been welcomed into your exceptional home. We made so many beautiful memories with our family. We will treasure them forever! Until next time ...

Very good situation. Easy to find. Clear instructions. Amazing view, just for that the price worth it. Center is not far, more or less 15 minutes walk. Parking available. Fridge with various products for our attention. Very kind. I recommend the place.

It was a great stay in a very nice apartment with a very nice view and a very nice host. The place is quite small but has 2 small supermarkets, a great restaurant in the Filario Hotel and a jetty (about 25 minutes on foot), so you can easily reach surrounding places like Bellagio, Varenna or Tremezzo without a car, because the narrow streets take some getting used to, especially if you have a large car.

We had a very dreamy and very pleasant stay and I hope we can return to this beautiful house again. Everything was clean and available. The view of the lake was truly spectacular and wonderful experience that we may not be able to experience again for years.

We had a great stay in Donath! Andrea and Peter we're very nice and helpful hosts. We liked the village in which the accomodation ist located a lots. With all the farms and animals and mountain Panorama its a great place to make vacation.

Cécile's place is an absolute gem! Impeccably clean, stylish, full of art & character. The kitchen is stocked better than most homes, with any tool imaginable and a wide selection of food and beverages that made us feel truly welcomed. Every detail was curated with care for our comfort and convenience. Memorable is the warmth of Cécile, who made the entire experience feel like staying at home and we'd love to bisit her again!
