Hotel holiday rentals in Madeira

The accommodation offered by Elisa, a house of character, is ideally located about ten minutes walk from the old town and about twenty minutes walk from the port. Everything is easily accessible (tourist curiosities, catering points). The bedroom on the first floor was very nice (comfortable beds, window to the courtyards). Communication with Elisa was fluid. She gave us recommendations and responded promptly to any questions we had. Thank you so much Elisa!!

Anna's hotel was a very nice place to stay. Breakfast with a 5-star view included, and incredible service. We enjoyed the food and slept well, even though it was a very cold week. The view from the hotelroom to the mountains and see is beautiful. All in all, for the price you pay you get everything you need, plus the knowledge and kindness of Anna. Thank you! We will be back ;)

Very good, clean and cozy - ideal for lovers of the classic, nostalgic style. Everything was old - bathroom, doors, windows and even the elevator in a real retro look. Not modern or chic, but full of charm for those who appreciate the old. The people here were very friendly, you feel at home. We had a nice, relaxing time and slept very well.

really nice peaceful place in the mountains. the decor in the room is a little dated but everything worked and was clean. Anna is a fantastic host with a lot of great recommendations of what to do. also the restaurant across the road serves delicious food at a reasonable price. It's nice to have it so close to spend an evening when in such a rural location.

The view is stunning, the hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is great and the A/C worked perfectly. Can only recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this place! The host was exceptionally attentive, helpful, and always available – you felt welcome and in good hands from the beginning. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, very clean and designed with a lot of love for detail – a real feel-good place! Overall absolutely recommended – we'd come back anytime!

An exceptionally beautiful complex, very well maintained, beautiful terrace with a panoramic view. There were free rolls every morning.

Jorge and Gabriel are such amazing hosts. They went above and beyond when the airline lost my luggage. Because of the language barrier, they helped us get in contact with the right people. They were so helpful during a stressful time. Also, the location made it really hard to be stressed! It was incredible. Planning to come back soon.

We spent our stay at Calheta Glamping to our complete satisfaction. Carla received us excellently and helped us wherever possible. She has a very relaxed aura around her. The accommodation is also excellent. A few minor improvements, such as the dishwashing brush that needs to be replaced, a hole in the bedding sheet, but those should not really have a name. So, we give it five stars.

Beautiful accommodation! Amazing location. Small downside for the evening, with the restaurant I thought we could have dinner but the restaurant's sole purpose is breakfast (which is incredible by the way!). i recommend+++

This BNB this so wonderful. Yves and his wife was so welcoming and kind to us. The bed is comfortable and the views are spectacular. About a 10 minute drive by taxi or your own car into Funchal for dinner. The views make it worth it being a little out of the city. A welcoming home that we found to be a little slice of peaceful paradise.

Wow! What a fantastic stay. The house is absolutely perfect - fabulous views, peaceful terrace, beautiful infinity pool and spotless. It’s a great location as easy to access all sites Madeira has to offer and a quick drive into town (Funchal). Yves and Julie really made this stay with their warm welcome, exceptional recommendations and above and beyond hospitality (including a delicious breakfast). Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Madeira. 💯

I had a great time and Catarina was really an excellent host! Catarina regularly inquired about my well-being, was easily accessible, and regularly informed guests about upcoming events in Funchal. Check-In & Check-Out were straightforward. The apartment is large, well maintained, and tastefully furnished; I especially liked the balcony and terrace, overlooking the city. In addition, the apartment is very centrally located near bakeries, supermarkets, and the pick-up points for various excursions/tours were less than 5 minutes' walk away. The apartment was also well equipped and as described. Even if several people shared the accommodation, it was very quiet overall, during the day you often had the apartment all to yourself. A cleaning lady was regularly present, and the accommodation, including the kitchen and bathroom, was accordingly very clean. I would choose Catarina's accommodation again at any time; 5 stars.

too late, we were able to make the most of this place, but the breakfast prepared for us in a picnic basket that we could eat on the beach was a surprise of the day and maybe even a whole stay at Porto santo. Very nice employees, and although not always English, will do a lot and kind.
